Welcome to Juniper Cottage a charming traditional cottage near Forres with wood burners, glorious countryside views, garden and greenhouse, close to Glenburgie Distillery and Findhorn Beach the cottage offers a peaceful Highland escape.. All on the Ground Floor:

Back garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Set in peaceful countryside just outside the charming town of Forres, this traditional two-bedroom holiday cottage in Burgie is a wonderfully relaxing Highland retreat. Full of character and warmth, the cottage blends classic rural charm with all the comforts needed for an easy and enjoyable stay. Inside, the cosy lounge is centred around a wood-burning stove, perfect for unwinding after a day exploring, while the well-equipped kitchen with dining table is ideal for leisurely meals together. A separate utility room adds extra convenience for longer stays, and the bathroom offers both a bath and a cubicle shower, giving guests the choice of a long soak or a refreshing start to the day.
At the rear of the cottage, a bright conservatory with its own wood burner provides a peaceful spot to sit back with a book or a morning coffee while taking in the spectacular open views across the surrounding countryside. Outside, the garden is a real highlight, offering space to relax, dine, and enjoy the changing colours of the landscape. There is then a second, larger living space that can be used for reading, writing, yoga, and other activities. Guests are also welcome to potter in the greenhouse, a lovely touch for those who enjoy a slower pace and a connection with nature. Glenburgie Distillery is close by, offering a fascinating insight into the region’s rich whisky heritage, while the wide sandy beaches of Findhorn are just a short drive away and perfect for coastal walks, wildlife watching, and breathtaking sunsets over the Moray Firth.
