Clean room, helpful and friendly staff, easy parking in front of the building. There were some disgruntled people in line in front of us at the desk during check-in, and it sounded like the establishment was over-booked. We and the couple behind us had no trouble checking in though. My only complaint was that the mattress on the side nearest the bathroom had a slight sag, and after the second night, my back hurt.

This is the worst place we have stayed, although we didn’t stay, we left after an hour. Pulling into the parking lot there was a campsite that appeared to be “locals” if you get my drift. The check in lady was nice and told us if we get locked out after 10pm, call the number by the front door and wait. I’m sure those locals would be friendly enough! The room smelled very strongly of marijuana. We stayed exactly 1 hr, long enough to book a Holiday Inn Express. Here’s the kicker- they won’t refund our money.

Sadly, I will not recommend this place for a 4-5 day stay. It seems to be an old motel that they are trying to keep open. We rented it because we were visiting family and wanted a place to have morning coffee before we left for the day. There wasn’t a thing in the kitchen area. Not a utensil, appliance, plate, glass or cup. No towels in the kitchen. The bathroom door handle came off almost every time we opened it. Enough said.

I booked for a King room, and upon arrival they could only give me a queen. Before the trip I tried multiple times to communicate via the chat and it was always unhelpful, I never got one question answered. I think it was a bot. Upon check-in they charged us an 8 per day cleaning fee on top of our reservation costs. When we got to our room, we discovered the handle on the cold tap was missing, there was absolutely nothing, not even a spoon, in the kitchen. The floors were stained and everything smelled. The only thing halfway pleasant was that when we requested to be let out of our reservation, the front desk person was nice. I’m still awaiting our refund, however, two weeks out. This is a motel 6. Scanky.

This is an extended stay. The hallways and elevator are filthy. The room had a terrible smell, although I think it was pretty clean--the smell coming from the air conditioner was a mix of what seemed like cigs and pooh. The front desk staff was so nice that I did not complain. I only stayed one night, however, as my daughter was moving into a property in Chicago, our reason for travel, and she let me stay with her on what ould have been my second night. I just came back and got my stuff on check-out morning without making any fuss. Really, the staff is so very nice, I think the room was as clean as it could be, but the old air conditoner just had a disgusting smell coming from it and the appliances were old and kind of nasty. After a bit, I became nose blind to it, but, really, so gross! I would never stay there again, but once again a shout out to the really nice front desk staff.

I'm not sure if this place is a hotel or an apartment building. Building seems a bit run down. The room seemed clean although the carpet is badly in need of replacing. We didn't realize until the morning we left that one of the windows was partly open which explained the noise from outside. The room also had a strong antiseptic smell which affected my wife's allergies. That said, it hit all the main points: comfortable bed, dark room, good shower, quiet (no sounds from neighbors), clean bathroom, and the price was was less than a quarter of what we would have paid at the hotel we usually stay at. Not sure we would stay there again, but it served its purpose.

Ich schätze diese Art von Aufmerksamkeit in Hotels sehr, und dieses Hotel hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen!
