Stoke-by-Clare is a small village located 2.5 miles west of the small town of Clare in the valley of the River Stour on the Suffolk/Essex border. Stoke-by-Clare is ideally situated for exploring the surrounding medieval villages such as Lavenham, and also within driving distance are Cambridge, Ipswich and the county of Norfolk.
