OVERVIEW

Welcome to Chalet Bolay, a bright 4‑bedroom home tucked away in a peaceful corner of Montriond, just minutes from Morzine, the Ardent ski lift and some of the best MTB and cycling routes in the Alps.

With a hot tub, sunset‑facing balcony, fenced garden and exceptionally comfortable beds, this is the ideal base for families, couples and groups of friends looking for adventure and relaxation.

THE SPACE

Designed with comfort and easy living in mind, the chalet offers:

• Four comfortable bedrooms, thoughtfully furnished with high‑quality mattresses and crisp linens to ensure a great night’s sleep for everyone. Three of the bedrooms can be configured as two single beds or one king-sized bed, allowing flexible sleeping arrangements for families and friends. The fourth en-suite bedroom has a king-size bed. Two of the upstairs bedrooms have French doors opening to a balcony so you can wake up to fresh mountain air and views.

• A spacious open‑plan living area where you can unwind by the log fire after a day on the slopes

• Separate, modern, fully equipped kitchen

• Outdoor hot tub and balcony where you can enjoy long evenings watching the sun dip behind the peaks

• Cyclist‑friendly facilities, located on the iconic Col de la Joux Verte and proudly Accrédité Accueil Vélo, the chalet is a dream base for road cyclists and MTB riders. Secure bike storage, bike tools and workstand, and outdoor jet washer included

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

You’ll be staying in a quiet, scenic spot in Montriond with everything you need close by:

• 5 minute walk to Montriond village
Home to a popular British‑run pub, a great pizza parlour, a traditional French restaurant and a small but well‑stocked grocery store. 5 minutes further in the valley is a fantastic brewery/restaurant.


• 10 minute drive/free ski bus to Morzine where you can explore a wide choice of restaurants, bars, shops and activities year‑round. This is where the Morzine and Pleney ski lifts are located - for skiing/MTB/hiking in Avoriaz and the wider Portes du Soleil area

• 10 minutes by car/free ski bus to the Ardent ski lift located on the mountain past Lake Montriond - often less busy in winter than Morzine and offering free car parking

• Iconic Col de la Joux Verte cycling route on your doorstep

• 5 minute drive to the peaceful Lake Montriond where in the summer you can enjoy family walks, kayak or a long lunch overlooking the water.


LOCATION

Having a car means you have easier access to all the many activities that the area has to offer - from ski-ing/snow boarding in the winter to paragliding, canyoning, white river rafting, kayaking, and golfing in the summer.

Geneva airport is 1hr 15 minute's drive away.

If you prefer not to drive, several private/shared bus transfer services operate from Geneva airport in both summer and winter. You can select a door-to-door service or Montriond church drop off point (5 minutes' walk away).

The free winter ski bus stops 100m away from the chalet. A 10 minute journey will take you either up to the Ardent lift (shorter, quick queue) or in the opposite direction to Morzine (where you walk across the suspended bridge to Super-Morzine and Pleney lifts). The bus returns to drop you off by the church in Montriond, a 5 minute walk from the chalet.

Morzine itself is an enjoyable 20 minute walk away along a flat picturesque road. This leads you to the bridge suspended above the open air swimming pool and recreation area, the ski lifts and town centre. You can also choose to walk to Morzine in summer by following the pretty river walk in the valley.

And of course, no car is needed if you are a cyclist or mountain biker. The famous Col de la Joux Verte passes within 20 metres of the chalet. And access to the Super Morzine lift for MTB in the summer is a 10 minute ride away along a flat road.
