New mattress provided but the double bed upstairs is a small double bed thus not adequate for a normal size/weight couple. Lovely garden as per pictures, with plenty of chairs/ table however the house on the other side is on a quite busy A road. Nice kitchen very well kitted .The host managing the property are extremely professional, special mention to Sarah.

Exactly as advertised. Felt really well supported by Kentigern, who was there to welcome us and help in anyway. Balanced perfectly being their to help but never feeling overbearing.Wonderful garden, great for children to run around safely. Fruit and veg store on roadside opposite was perfect.Great history nearby Pegasus Bridge, Sword beach history on the doorstep. Juno and Gold beaches easily accessible. Highly recommend museum at Arromanche.Would definitely return

Great house, lovely beach

We really enjoyed our stay here. Check in was friendly and helpful. The house is great, authentic and with a beautiful garden in which the little one (3 years old) could safely play and run around. The beach so close by is just fantastic. we loved the well equipped kitchen. the furniture in the house and garden was really nice and comfortable.

A great stay near the beach

A lovely little house, however it certainly wasnt cleaned to Covid standards. AND BEWARE....... somewhere in the small print you have to rent linen and towels, this would have come to a whopping 80 euros for us, luckily we were coming by car and could bring our own( even the housekeeper admitted that this caught people out!!) However, it was a delightful stay, very close to the D Day beaches and other attractions

Holiday in Normandy

The four members of our family stayed here for 8 really beautiful days. Ok, it rained one day!! The house is as advertised. It is, in my opinion very centrally located to the sites in Normandy. There are 4 bedrooms of nice size. The kitchen is the most well equipped kitchen in a rental I have ever seen. We had some issues with the gate opener. But cleaning the beam detector fixed thst problem. Communication was great. I received a response very quickly to any question. And there was a fruit and vegetable across thr street. All in all, it was a fantastic place to stay

A lovely house in a good location

We rented the house for a week for a family celebration with six of us. The house is lovely with four bedrooms and a spacious garden where we spent every evening sitting out. The house is well-equipped and well-maintained. Check-in and check-out were easy after a bit of negotiation of times. The location is great for the D-Day beaches and parking either inside the gate or just outside the house was easy and convenient. There is a small tabac/bar within walking distance for morning baguettes and croissants (but no food served in the bar). Be aware of opening times for the nearby cafes as many are closed on some of the weekdays. Our only small suggestions would be some tea towels in the kitchen - we ended up buying three souvenir ones to use - and perhaps a supply of toilet tissue for the first few days. Very minor points! I would very much recommend the house to anyone who wants a great base for northern Normandy at a very reasonable price.

Die Lage und das Haus sind erstklassig. Der Garten wirklich groß und schön. Was nicht besonders war, war die Sauberkeit. Es wurde in der Küche am Anreisetag zwar nachgeputzt, was die Reinigungsfirma zuvor nicht gemacht hat. Schimmel an der Wand unter dem Spülbecken und Bierflaschen unter den Betten der Vormieter sind aber ein Unding. Das Haus ist aber sonst wirklich schön und durch die Lage perfekt. Wir würden wiederkommen. In der Hoffnung, dass das Haus dann in einem gepflegteren Zustand ist und wir einfach Pech hatten.

Mooi huis vlakbij zee, maar wel aan een drukke weg met veel doorgaand verkeer en met het nodige achterstallige onderhoud aan de buitenkant. Lang niet alle afgebeelde tuinsets waren aanwezig en van de 3 aanwezige houten tuinstoelen waren er 2 krakkemikkig. Wifi niet fantastisch. Snelle en effectieve communicatie met de beheerder.

un logement conforme aux attentes, un jardin ensoleillé et abrité du vent ,bien équipé pour 8 avec un service de conciergerie au top. A titre perso ,il est plus commode de se garer dans la rue arriere. Preter attention au planning de passage des ordures.

La location convient à tous grands et petits . Le service de conciergerie impeccable très accueillant et serviable à l’écoute de nos demandes. Maison familiale, très accueillante. Très bien aménagée. Chambre, sanitaires, salle de douche. Au rez de chaussée et à l’étage. Location impeccable, mer à 2 pas, grand jardin, emplacement pour stationner un véhicule à l’intérieur du jardin. Calme, zen. Matériel de cuisine haut de gamme. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Idealer Platz für einen entspannten Aufenthalt am Meer

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit hier! Bestechend natürlich die Nähe zum Meer, aber auch der Garten war ein herrlicher Ort zum Entspannen. Bei den Bädern geht es etwas eng zu, aber wir sind zurecht gekommen. Phänomenal für Hobbyköche war die Ausstattung der Küche!Wir fanden, es ist ein Ort zum Wiederkommen - vielen Dank an die Gastgeber!
