La casa se encuentra detrás de nuestra casa de estilo Vieux Carre. A su llegada, puede relajarse y planear su visita a Nueva Orleans en su acogedora casa de campo y patio privado. Disfrute de una cesta de vinos de bienvenida con delicias locales.

La cabaña está ubicada en una de las secciones residenciales más bonitas de Nueva Orleans. Es un vecindario tranquilo, alejado de las multitudes y el ruido, y muy cerca de City Park y el Museo de Arte de Nueva Orleans, el Besthoff Garden y el campo de golf New Bayou Oaks de 18 hoyos. Usted está ubicado en el centro de lo mejor de la ciudad, a poca distancia a pie del lago Pontchartrain y de un viaje económico en Uber o del transporte público al Barrio Francés.

Cafeterías, bares de vinos, restaurantes de mariscos, mexicanos, asiáticos y criollos están muy cerca; O, relájate y barbacoa en tu terraza privada. Las tiendas de comestibles están a pocos minutos.

Pero, no se apure, hemos proporcionado productos básicos para el desayuno (zumo de frutas, café, leche, cereales, yogur, pan y mantequilla) para su primera diversión de la mañana.

El interior de la casa de huéspedes fue remodelado recientemente con pisos de madera noble en la sala de estar / comedor, nuevos electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable que incluyen refrigerador con máquina de hielo y encimeras de granito en la cocina. Dormitorio separado con cama queen size y baño grande con una mesa de maquillaje incorporada.

Estacionamiento privado fuera de la calle, TV por cable, wi-fi de alta velocidad y lavadora / secadora en casa de campo.

The hosts were delightful and so very accommodating. The accommodations were perfect. Impeccable attention to detail. Lots of delicious local snacks as well as well stocked breakfast items. The beautiful garden was a plus. Best VRBO we have ever stayed in.

Susan's cottage is nothing short of exceptional. The cottage is elegantly furnished, has a complete kitchen and barbecue grill, excellent Wi-Fi and TV channels, a comfortable bed, a beautiful bathroom with luxurious towels, and an absolutely fabulous garden. If Susan's cottage is available, don't even consider staying in a hotel bed sitter room. Susan is the ultimate hostess, welcoming us when we arrived, showing us about the property in the cottage, sharing tips on nearby restaurants and sights, and checking to ensure that everything was in working order. The delicious treats and beverages she provided topped off a great 4-day stay in one of New Orleans finest neighborhoods. When we return to New Orleans, we will certainly book Susan's cottage again!

The hosts, Susan and Eldon, were extremely welcoming and generous. We arrived to find the refrigerator full of a variety of breakfast foods, chocolate mints, champagne, and wine. The cottage was comfortable, clean, and the kitchen was well appointed. There is good lighting for reading, The garden leading from the entrance to the cottage is magical, and we’ve loved falling asleep to the sound of water from the fountains. The private patio with a grill and seating in the back was another plus. We absolutely will retur.

Sue was an exceptional host! The cottage was perfect for a couple! If you are traveling by yourself, very safe neighborhood. Host are on the same property and the cottage fence is locked! There are many places to eat or have a drink within a mile of the cottage! Centrally located and a short drive to Bourbon Street and the French Market! We visited for our honeymoon and were greeted with congratulations and wine! The garden is serene! The host has everything you might need in the kitchen and plenty of towels. The bed is phenomenal, my husband and I slept better their than anywhere else we have ever stayed 10/10 would recommend to anybody!!

This was an exceptionally wonderful location and hosts ! Enjoying evenings in the courtyard and breakfast on the back porch were relaxing and lovely! The caption for this property describes it perfectly. It was so quaint and relaxing! The cottage was tastefully decorated and clean. Our hosts were excellent, making sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. The refrigerator was stocked with breakfast and drink items. We felt this was so thoughtful and generous of our hosts. We parked in our own spot in the driveway. Neighborhood was very nice. It was a wonderful stay!

Even though we expected a private parking spot, beautiful landscaping, and some treats provided, we were blown away by the extent that the owner went through to make our stay special. The location is superb, the foliage beautiful and lush, the kitchen filled with several options for breakfast, and the courtesy and sweetness of the owner is unlike anything I have experienced. I said to my husband that I feel like she is here helping us in a completely non-intrusive way because she has thought of everything! We felt totally safe in this neighborhood. It was quiet and relaxing on the deck where we watched lizards quietly sneaking by. We hope to come back here again!

The cottage was absolutely perfect for us! It was decorated so beautifully and all the special little touches made such a huge impact on our stay. All the added little touches - the coffee, tea, snacks and drinks in the fridge, the New Orleans special treats, the welcome letter from Susan and Eldon, and the beautiful outdoor areas - made this cottage the most wonderful place we have ever stayed. The bed was very comfortable, as well as the comfort of the furnishings. I could have stayed for weeks! Very easy to get to, really liked the boulevards! Great food within the area. Safe and beautiful neighborhood to walk around in and the people of New Orleans were so friendly. Loved our stay and would absolutely come back again but stay longer next time! Susan and Eldon were wonderful hosts and have an absolutely amazing place!

Just perfect!

This sweet cottage is just as portrayed in the VRBO catalog. Actually - it's better. The gardens and curving paths past beautiful tropical plantings are a bonus. The cottage itself is charming, clean, comfortable, and VERY well stocked with necessities, nice-to-haves, and yummy treats and beverages. In addition, the property is less than 20 minutes to the French Quarter and Nat'l WW II museum, the West Bank, Airport, and lots more. And, perhaps most importantly, it is safe. The owners are perfect hosts and live in a separate home on the property. If you need directions or suggestions, you can comfortably ask the hosts. We hope to return next year and we'll tell our friends and family about this wonderful property.

Perfect Vacation Space

I greatly enjoyed my stay. The owners of the property have taken great care to create a relaxing place in which every tiny detail is thought out and taken care of in advance. This was the best rental experience I’ve ever had and would be lucky to get to come back.

Great guest cottage

This is a wonderful place to stay while visiting New Orleans. The cottage was very comfortable and well-appointed, in a quiet, safe neighbourhood. We cook most of our meals when we travel and the kitchen was great, with many essential items provided by the host. The garden is lovely and gives a very relaxing vibe. If we return to New Orleans, we will stay with Susan and Eldon again.

Picturesque garden courtyard setting

The cottage is so nicely appointed, but the courtyard setting makes it feel like an oasis. And if that wasn't enough, the hosts are simply the best we've ever had. A personalized sign welcoming us, the fridge full of breakfast food, snacks, and a bottle of champagne with chilled glasses waiting for us! WHO DOES THAT? Answer... these hosts! And 1 more thing... the location is excellent. the fridge

Truly amazing. Relaxing way to end the day with a beautiful, relaxing neighborhood away from the crazy of downtown. Space was clean, cute and filled with thoughtful extras. Susan and Rldon were beyond friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend!

The best home we have booked on VRBO

I don’t even know where to start. Susan and Eldon are the most gracious hosts. They left some basic item in the fridge to make us feel welcome (juice, water, yogurt, soda, bread, eggs , and more). Then they also left us some yummy snacks to try. The home was clean and warm and inviting. And their backyard garden is like a Monet painting. When we come back to New Orleans, we will definitely booked this place again.

I’ve stayed in a lot of rentals but I’ve never seen so much care for a cottage than Susan gave this one! We felt very welcomed with her snacks, wine and even beads/masks provided for mardi gras. Cottage was clean, in a safe neighborhood and just a short drive to French Quarter which is what we wanted as we had a rental car and needed parking. I recommend this rental to anyone who wants to explore such a unique city.
