The cottage is beautifully and charmingly decorated; you can enjoy sitting outside on the porch, and the garden is gorgeous—complete with deer and pheasants that sometimes wander by. We also really appreciated the high-quality and attractive outdoor furniture. We didn’t use the shower in the bathroom—it’s very cramped, and it seemed virtually impossible to shower there without making a complete mess of water all over the bathroom. So we only used the outdoor shower, which we actually really enjoyed. Sometimes you do have to deal with (a lot of) flies, but you naturally learn which times are good and which are less ideal for showering.
The sea is very shallow for a long way out, so it’s not suitable for swimming. It’s a great place for a walk, though.
