We had a wonderful stay here - a stunning pool and so quiet and peaceful. Javier is very easy to deal with and responsive. It’s a fantastic location within walking distance to an excellent local supermarket. Lots of beaches within a short car ride.

Great villa in perfect location

Great family villa is a perfect location on the island. The pool is fantastic and it is only about an 8 minute drive to Binibecca beach. There is a great little supermarket near by and villa Madrid is a pizza restaurant within walking distance which is great if you have kids. I would definitely stay here again and Javi answered any questions we had promptly! What a great holiday!

Fantastic Villa & location

We were looking for a nice villa for a relaxing holiday and it was perfect. The villa and pool area is spacious, great kitchen for cooking, good sized rooms and everything worked! There is a small supermarket in walking distance and a larger one a short 5 minute drive away. We were able to get everything we needed to bunker down and relax, enjoy the weather and dip in the pool. Ideal for a family holiday

Wonderful property with everything you need

The property has everything you need to ensure you have a relaxing time. Just spent the last week in June there and thoroughly enjoyed it. Weather was fantastic, which meant we spent the majority of our time by the pool. Nice pizzeria and local shop close by which are very friendly and the shop sells everything you need. Its location means it's easy to get to other parts of the island. We'll definitely be back.

Brilliant villa and pool! We stayed during the heatwave - air conditioning would be a real advantage, but ceiling fans worked well in the two main bedrooms. Pool and BBQ area are fantastic, villa rooms are large, great lounge and kitchen. We’ll come back for sure!

Fantastic villa

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Los Olivos. The property is spacious and really well equipped. The outside space is amazing. We stayed here with our 2 teenage sons and it suited us perfectly. We had a couple of queries when we arrived which were answered promtly. Walking distance to the supermarket and a short drive to the beach. I would recommend this villa.

Beautiful Villa

We have stayed in the area for the past 20 years and this was by far the best villa in terms of space , equipment and pool area. our only criticism, would be ceiling fans in all bedrooms as it was particularly hot at night (heatwave in Spain) and would have been a welcome relief. Thank you Javi for all your help and for letting us stay in your lovely villa. Hope to be back again soon.

Beautiful situation and amazing pool

Villa is set in wonderful gardens which are so relaxing and peaceful to sit in with a wonderful pool. The Villa itself is near to lovely beaches - 10 min drive - and is roomy and spotless. Our only wish was that it had air conditioning as it was unseasonably warm for Sept and very hot to sleep at night, although we'd definitely consider staying at Las Olivas again. Would also highly recommend Lemon Bar in the port of Es Castell and Binifadet's gorgeous restaurant set in the Vineyard.

Excellent! What more can we say?!

Beautiful villa. Gorgeous surroundings not to mention the pool area! We spent loads of time in the pool and had a few barbrques too. Lovely bottle of wine and local cheese waiting on our arrival. Lovely outdoor area to have a morning coffee and read, away from the kids! Bonus. When, and not if, we return to menorca this is where we will be staying!!!

Outstanding Villa in the true heart of Minorca.

Stayed for 2 weeks Aug-14. The Villa is simply amazing. Perfect location, amidst the most beautiful spots of southern Minorca and just a few minutes of virtually everything. Basic services and groceries at walking distance. Total privacy. Tenant extremely warm and helpful. Thanks family Relea for giving us these 2 weeks of peace.

Gorgeous spacious villa

The photos don't really do justice to the substantial size of the gardens and house - and it is gorgeous. It's also far more private than it may look from the photos, and the pool is superb. There's plenty of shade at the front and back, and it's a very easy walk to an excellent deli/supermarket and to at least two restaurants. We meant to go exploring but couldn't tear ourselves away from the villa. Take your binoculars if you want to see some great bird life.

Fabulous villa in a wonderful location

Javier's villa is stunning and really huge! The pool area is beautiful as is the surrounding large garden and the location of the house is perfect as it is rural and quiet but near all the shops and beaches. We had concerns about it being too hot without air con but the fans worked perfectly and we slept well. One suggestion is to provide a ceiling fan in the sitting room as it got quite hot in the evenings in there. Javier was a great and helpful host and we would highly recommend this villa.

Peaceful and spacious, beautifully restored old farmhouse

A car is essential to compliment a stay at this old farm, which is approached down a short gravel track surrounded by olive groves. There is Plenty of space for 6 to 8 people within the villa which is well and sympathetically modernised... the grounds are very extensive and there is a good size pool with a freestanding verandah, complete with dinning table an bbq .. On the downside, several of us found the beds uncomfortable and walking from the house is limited, except to nearby excellent supermarket and even closer pizzeria

Wonderful, comfortable and very private villa

We stayed for 2 weeks at the end of May and in to June 2024. The villa has 4 very good sized bedrooms with plenty of space for clothes etc… The 2 bathrooms were also big with great showers and a bathtub upstairs. There was a well equipped and easy to use kitchen. There is a big lounge and dinning area and utility. The best bit of the villa is the pool area and gardens. It is all very well maintained and very private. The villa owner came to meet us at Villa shortly after we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. We had a very comfortable stay. It was our first time at the this villa and won’t be our last. Highly recommended.

Spacious house in beautiful grounds

We choose this house because we love the location, having spent many holidays nearby. The property did not disappoint as it's spacious and has a great garden and pool which is perfect for spending a very relaxing holiday. My adult children visited and were equally happy as they could walk to restaurants and the local supermarket (which has everything you could want) without having to hire an extra car. The only downside was the lack of mosquito nets which would have meant we could leave windows open at night because it was unusually hot for June. The fans were pretty good at keeping the temperature down though. Would definitely like to return in the future.

Fabulous stay with friends

I came away with 6 other friends and stayed in this beautiful villa. Everything was very smooth, it is slightly hard to find when you arrive but the host sent all the details so it wasn’t a problem. Anything we needed the host provided. Bring mosquito spray as there were a lot of them around the pool at night, we spent most nights eating out there as it was so beautiful and had everything we needed to enjoy the evening. All rooms apart form one had a fan but I am sure the host would be able to provide another one if needed. The host really was great and we will definitely be returning to this villa soon! It’s great value for money too.

5 Star luxury in a perfect place

We were incredibly impressed by the peace and beauty of this wonderful home in S'Ullastra. We arrived hot and tired from a late flight and ran straight to the garden and jumped into the pool. The pool itself is tiled in pale green and sublime place to be. The adjacent covered cabana area and bbq is the most relaxing place to spend long hot days swimming, reading and eating. The house itself is huge and cool and has everything you could ever need. We visited lots of beaches and I guess that our favourites might not be yours so best to explore as many as you can. We also ate in plenty of restaurants but none came close to the truly wonderful La Caraba where we ate 3 times !! On a few occasions your life you come across somewhere that makes you glad to be alive and never want to leave...well that is Villa Los Olivos and La Caraba.

Beautiful villa

We had a lovely week in this villa. It is spacious and simply but nicely decorated. The pool is a really good size, and the outdoor space very generous. The pool and outdoor dining area is situated behind the house so you cannot see this from the kitchen, but we got used to this after a day or 2. There is a great pizza restaurant within walking distance. The host Javier was very helpful and easy to contact. There is no aircon so the rooms did get quite hot at night but there are fans in all the rooms. The main upstairs bedroom has an overhead fan which was most effective, it would be good if all the rooms had an overhead fan rather than a plug in fan. Overall I would recommend this villa as its generous in size and in a great location.

Wonderful villa

We have just returned from Los Olivos - what a fantastic place to stay. The pool area is stunning, surrounded by palm trees and a lush garden, all you can hear is the wind and the birds. Bliss! The villa itself is cool and pleasant with all amenities you might need and at the front is a fantastic orchard with palms, a plum tree, a lemon tree and olive trees. Our two kids had a ball - always something new for them to discover. We even had a wild tortoise come strolling through the garden one day! As for the local area - there is a really great Italian restaurant 2 minutes walk down the road - Villa Madrid. Staff there are really friendly and accommodating, and there is a great supermarket about 5 mins walk away (bit pricey but you can always use the really big supermercat just outside of Sant Louis.) You are 10 minutes, if that, drive from several lovely beaches. All in all, a wonderful stay. Javier always replied very promptly to any query I had Would very much recommend!

Los Olivos was a great find on Homeaway and included all of the equipment that we wanted or needed.

We stayed at Los Olivos in August 2016. The photos on the website do not do justice to this property. We were a party of 6 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of room in the villa for all of us. It included all of the equipment that we needed or wanted. The pool area is great, and there is plenty of shade in the cubana if required. It was also very secluded around the pool. It was difficult to keep the children out of the pool. Although the villa is secluded it is very close to the amenities, with an excellent supermarket only 5 minutes away. Minorca is a lovely island, and we even found a fiesta which was very different. The Bodega near San Luis is worth a visit for a wine tour or an excellent lunch or dinner. La Venta restaurant in San Luis has wonderful food and a birthday was celebrated there.The pizzas at Villa Madrid are very good and within walking distance. It also does a takeaway service. We wish that it was the beginning of August again!

A delightful property in extensive gounds

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at Los Olivos with our family and grandchildren. The villa is fully equipped even with SKY TV to watch the test match whilst cooling down inside. There is a large garden with an expanse of irrigated grass around the pool area that is ideal for children. Also the pool area has a BBQ with outdoor seating for lunch and dinner. Nearby is an excellent supermarket that has a full range of fresh meat and vegetables etc at prices similar to the UK, except for the wine and beer that is much cheaper! Also in less than 10 minutes by car there are safe beaches for children and two outstanding restaurants, one within walking distance. The owners could not do enough to be helpful, even replacing the refrigerator during our stay. A car is recommended but not essential since taxis are relatively cheap and many facilities are close to hand. Throughout, the owners have communicated without delay and our deposit was refunded within 24 hours of being back in the UK. We would not hesitate in recommending this villa and we hope to make a return visit next year.
