The Retreat presenta dos grandes áreas familiares en un amplio concepto abierto con techos abovedados y asientos para todos. Tres habitaciones tamaño queen, 1 futón de tamaño completo ofrece capacidad para 8 y dos baños completos, uno con una bañera grande.

Hay hermosas vistas de los acantilados Vermillion al norte y el porche cubierto con vistas al bosque Kaibab al sur.

Convenient and comfortable!

We were looking for a place to stay to do the Gran Canyon Rim to Rim hike. This place was perfect for our needs. Only a shame that we only had a one night stay!

Wonderful home

My husband and I stayed for a week at the Brown Family retreat. It is a very nice home. Nothing fancy, but had everything we needed, was clean and very comfortable. We will be saving this one for future trips to Kanab. We are retired, but still like to get out in our Jeep or Power Wagon exploring the amazing area. After a day out though, we are usually pretty tired and this house has two recliners making for a nice evening relaxing time. The house is a very short distance from the main part of town, making it not crowded, but close enough to get dinner or supplies. The property manager, Star, was very responsive both prior to our visit and with a question upon arrival. We will definitely be staying here again.

Check your n was easy. Communication perfect! Home was as expected and clean. Lots to do within a reasonable distance. Would stay here again!

The property is clean and comfortable. It is in a very quiet area with beautiful night sky. I would give this property a 10 of 10 if it were not for some small but needed repairs. the bathroom faucets need attention, one did not work at all. The lock on the master bedroom door is stuck in the locked position so the door cannot be closed. Other than that this a wonderful property we loved it.

This is a beautiful quiet place. The house is spotlessly clean and the accomodations so comfortable. Very comfortable bed, big fluffy towels. :) I wish we could have stayed longer!

Great!but...

My family and I had a great time staying at this property..the only thing that was not good was the sofa bed. it needs to be replaced or fixed. The bottom board was broken with all the nails/staple wires sticking out. Which could cause some serious injury.. But, overall awesome experience with everything you need..

The house is great! Very clean and comfortable! We could use the barbecue and laundry as well. It is close to the Kanab city, we went to Grand Canyon North, Glen Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. I would stay here again!

Vacation

Centrally located to Bryce, Zion and North Rim of Grand Canyon. Easy to find the home. My daughter and her family stayed here in June and loved it too.

Perfect Get-a-Way

The house was perfectly located for all of the things we had on our list to go see and do. It was very clean and roomy and was supplied with what we needed. We will definitely stay again if we find ourselves in the area. Thank you Star!

Great place to stay in beautiful Kanab!

This was a great little place to stay for our family vacation to Kanab! Some of the furnishings are a bit dated but it was nice and clean and close to so many fun things to do. We would highly recommend it!

Location and Amenities

This house was in a great location and had great amenities (dishes/dishwasher/laundry/smart tv/etc). It was clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed our time here. The only downfall was the beds. The mattresses are absolutely terrible. Replace those and I’d be willing to book again.

Lovely canyon vacation

Good “home base” for the area.

While the home itself is six miles east of Kanab and we always had to go through town, it was very convenient. Furniture and linens are pretty basic. Had to request a corkscrew but one was bought and delivered very promptly. The hosts provided great info about hikes, etc. In addition to Bryce, Zion, and the Grand Canyon, we really loved the Mansard Trail that was SO close to the house!

Zion, Bryce and Grand Canyon North Rim.

Mostly fine. Master bathroom shower did not work. It sprayed water from where the shower head was connected. Master bedroom tv was not connected to anything usable. Living room tv buffered constantly and was very frustrating to watch. Found a dirty skillet and two dirty plates. Great proximity to Kanab and the three parks we wanted to hike.

Nice place and conveniently located. Internet didn't work when we go there but a call to the property manager quickly got that fixed. The hot water is scalding hot, so be careful. Other than that, it was a nice, uneventful stay. Just they way we wanted it.

Lovely Home, Great Location

We loved our stay! The home was clean and had everything we needed and a lot of extras. The location is fantastic and allowed us to visit Bryce Canyon, the Grand Canyon, Pink Coral Sand Dunes, Glenn Canyon Dam, and Horseshoe Bend. Wish we had more time....there is so much to see. Thank you!

Great house and great location

Our family stayed for a three night stay and we could not recommend enough. The residence was clean and had everything we needed. It was in the middle of everywhere we wanted to go in the area. Great place to stay!

A great base for the local area

Perfectly good house, plenty of space and amenities with great views; we were very comfortable there for 4 nights. Location is a perfect base for Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon North Rim as well as some local treks and sights in Kanab.

The Brown Family Retreat is an excellent choice for your family to explore our national and state parks, recreational areas, Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and so much more! We have convenient access to Hwy 89 to quickly reach any of your destinations to explore all around us.

We have amazing views of the Vermillion Cliffs to the north and the Chocolate Cliffs to the south.
