With miles of scenic walking trails, including the Peddars Way and Pingo Trail, and the serene Thompson Water nearby (1 mile), it’s an ideal base for a back-to-nature getaway. The beautiful trails of Thetford Forest are 10 miles away for more scenic exploration.


On-site, guests may also choose to experience the on-site Wilderness Spa, featuring a natural swimming pond, hot tub, sauna and treatments (available at an additional cost and to be arranged in advance), or enjoy freshly prepared meals from a stylish bistro.


Inside, the hut is designed for comfort and warmth. The king-size bed, complete with an electric blanket and extra throws, ensures a cosy night’s sleep, while the wonderful wood burner adds to the snug atmosphere. A love seat and TV with a DVD player provide a relaxing spot to unwind after a day of adventure. The compact indoor kitchen includes a gas hob and microwave, and the bathroom features a heated shower, flushing toilet, and heated towel rail.


Outside, the private garden is fully enclosed with a picket fence, making it perfect for dogs. The decked veranda, with roll-down screens and a heat lamp, features a luxurious double-ended outdoor bath with hot water. The wood-fired hot tub, complete with lights and jets, offers a soothing soak under the stars. Guests can enjoy al fresco dining at the outdoor table or cook up a feast in the fully equipped outdoor kitchen. The garden also includes stylish furniture, a fire pit with a BBQ grill, and artificial grass for added comfort. Parking is conveniently located nearby, ensuring easy access to this dog-friendly haven.
