Welcome to my Camden home, a beautifully renovated two-bedroom, two-bathroom maisonette set over three light-filled floors near Camden, King’s Cross and Coal Drops Yard. Original features sit alongside smart home touches, a sunny south-facing kitchen, underfloor bathroom heating and a private terrace for morning coffee or evening drinks. With artisan shops, Regent’s Canal and excellent Tube links nearby, it’s a warm, stylish base for families, friends, couples or work stays.

I’m delighted to share this house with guests when I’m travelling. It’s where I live for most of the year, so it has been designed with real comfort in mind — not just for passing through London, but for actually enjoying it. The maisonette was fully renovated in 2022 and is set across three floors, with a lovely sense of space, light and privacy.
What I love most is the balance of old and new. There are original features that give the house its character, paired with modern smart home touches and a high-standard finish throughout. It feels polished but still personal, calm but not cold, and very much like a London home that has been properly cared for.
The main living space is made for slow evenings and easy hosting. Coming from a large family, I’ve always loved entertaining, and the house suits that beautifully. There’s a generous dining area for long lunches, relaxed dinners or laptops and coffee during the day, while the sitting room feels warm and elegant, with soft lighting, plants, artwork and deep colours that make the space feel quietly special.
The south-facing kitchen is one of my favourite parts of the house. It catches the sunshine throughout the day and has that lovely feeling of being somewhere you might accidentally linger. It’s well equipped for guests who enjoy cooking, whether you’re making breakfast before heading out to explore, or staying in for a proper dinner after a day in the city.
There are two comfortable bedrooms and two bathrooms, making the layout especially easy for families, couples, friends travelling together or professionals who want a little extra breathing room. The bathrooms have been finished to a high standard, with underfloor heating that feels particularly wonderful on colder London mornings — one of those small luxuries you miss as soon as you don’t have it.
The private terrace is a real joy. It’s a lovely spot for morning coffee, a quiet read, or an evening drink before dinner. In this part of London, having your own outdoor space feels like a small privilege, especially when you’re close to Camden, King’s Cross, Regent’s Canal and the West End.
The house is also very well connected. You’re within easy reach of the Northern, Victoria and Piccadilly lines, so getting around London is straightforward, whether you’re heading to the West End, King’s Cross St Pancras, Camden Market, Coal Drops Yard or further afield. I’ll also leave a welcome pack with tea, coffee and a few essentials, so you can arrive, settle in, and make yourself at home without needing to dash straight back out.
As this is a well-connected London neighbourhood, there may be some light city noise from time to time. I like to mention this clearly so guests arrive with the right expectations.
You have access to the entire property with no disruptions. Should a maintenance query occur, you will be asked permission first before we access the property to carry out a repair.
THE PRACTICAL BITS (WE PROMISE TO KEEP IT BRIEF!)
Check-in & Check-out: Check-in is from 3 pm and check-out is by 11am. If you’d like to arrive earlier or leave a little later, let us know in advance — we’ll always try to accommodate where possible, though it is subject to availability and an additional fee.
Please ensure you're ready to check out on time. Our cleaning team often arrives promptly, and a £20 fee per half hour will apply for unauthorised late check-outs or early arrivals.
Lift: Please note that there is no lift in the property.
Keys: You’ll receive specific instructions the day before check-out on where to leave the keys — it’s important these are followed, as missed steps can delay our cleaning team and affect other guests. A £50 fee will apply if keys aren’t returned correctly.
Lost keys requiring lock replacement will incur a £100 charge. If you get locked out and we need to attend the property, there’s a £60 call-out fee, so please do take care of the keys during your stay.
Parking: There’s no private parking available with the property. However, there are several convenient and cost-effective options nearby:

Parkopedia and Just Park for affordable local spaces (often offered by residents) If using ZipCar, please note that parking is not included in their rental fee and must be arranged separately.
Family Facilities: A travel cot is available to hire for £40, which covers delivery and collection. Please bring your own cot bedding. If you’d also like a high chair, we can provide both for a total of £45 for your stay.
Smoking: This is a strictly non-smoking property. A £200 fee will apply if smoking is detected.
Extra Guests & Noise: No additional guests are permitted without prior agreement. This is a peaceful, residential building, and we kindly ask that there be no parties or loud music. Breaching either rule may result in a £250 fine.
Lost Property: Please check carefully before you leave! Forgotten items are handled by a third-party courier who charges a minimum of £25 per item, plus delivery costs.
Linen for longer stays Staying 21 nights or more? Our professional linen service requires a refresh every 21 days. You can choose: – Fresh linen delivery, or – Rehire the current set, which we’ll collect after you check out. Both options are billed the same.
Property Management: This home is professionally managed by Pass the Keys®, offering hotel-standard hospitality in unique homes. You’ll enjoy fresh linens, quality toiletries, 24/7 guest support, and a dedicated local team to assist you throughout your stay. The property has been personally inspected and approved to meet our Property Readiness Standard.
IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.
The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property. Pets - not allowed Smoking - not allowed
