Set in the heart of Richmond, a Georgian market town brimming with shops, restaurants, and quirky boutiques, there is plenty to see and do nearby. Walk to the 11th-century castle and learn all about the area's past, before treating yourself to a bite to eat in one of the many pubs and cafes. A wander around the old cobbled market square is a must, as is a cup of real Yorkshire tea. Known as the gateway to the Dales, Richmond is encompassed by gorgeous scenery. Go for a picnic alongside the River Swale waterfalls and National Trust’s Hudswell Woods, within 2 miles. Set on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and not far from the North Pennines and Nidderdale, both within 25 miles, there is plenty of countryside to explore on foot or by bike.
A contemporary three-storey townhouse providing stylish accommodation to an exceptional standard with enviable attention to detail throughout. As you enter, you’ll arrive into the hallway and immediately get a feel for the design and décor the owners have carefully considered. There is a place for you to hang your coats and leave behind your shoes. Pass the utility room which is home to the washing machine and tumble dryer, essential for those holiday practicalities. The ground floor has a generously sized bedroom featuring a super-king-size zip-and-link bed (can be made as twins on request) and an en-suite shower room with WC. Completing this floor is a funky games room, featuring a football table, Smart TV, and plush comfy sofa – perfect for mixed-aged groups. Make your way up the oak staircase with glass balustrades where you will find the remaining three bedrooms; a super-king-size zip-and-link (can be made as twins on request) with Smart TV and access to the patio, a king-size bedroom with a large window providing lots of natural light plus a Smart TV and another king-size bedroom featuring an en-suite shower room with WC and a private terrace, just the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee before heading out to explore. There is access to the patio from this floor. When you take the stairs to the second floor you are greeted with a magnificent lounge area surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows providing stacks of light but also amazing views over rooftops. Gather around on the sofas and plan your next day's adventure or watch a film on the large Smart TV. The kitchen which connects to the lounge is a signature part of this accommodation boasting a high apex ceiling with roof skylights.
