The Cheyney Park Estate sits within 60 acres of well managed farmland and ancient woodlands of which you are free to roam, The Cheyney Park estate is well served by foot, a well-stocked community shop and village inn’s are within walking distance along with the Hop Pocket Craft Centre. The perfect location offering easy access to Worcester and Hereford both showcasing stunning cathedrals and riverside walks, with smaller market towns that offer a more bespoke shopping experience in Leominster, Ludlow and Ledbury. For National Trust enthusiasts, there are several properties and gardens all within easy reach together with multiple Shows and Events all year around held at the Malvern Showground. For walkers, an enviable landscape of both rolling meadows and hills to climb with easy access into the Malvern Hills, the Forest of Dean and the Brecon Beacons. If it’s a festival that you are looking for why not take in Hay-on-Wye for book lovers or Ludlow for food lovers. Or stay closer to home and roam the waymarked paths and enjoy a leisurely walk.
Step inside this former workers cottage and leave your walking boots within the rear lobby. The kitchen/diner is accessed off the lobby, a great space where the kitchen is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. A table with wooden benches is set to the centre and is the perfect place for a hearty breakfast before a day exploring. Off the kitchen you can access the snug with wood burner which is perfect for a chilly evening where you can sink back into the sofas and enjoy some quiet time together. There is a lounge set to the side with TV and games which is great for a little competition. There is also a ground floor WC. When the time comes to say goodnight climb the stairs to the first floor where you will find three bedrooms which 2 consist of a super-king-size zip-and-link bed (which can all be made up as twins on request) and 1 king size bed, one of these rooms has en-suite shower room and WC, and the other two rooms benefits from views of the grounds. There is also a bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC on this floor. Climb the stairs to the second floor where you will find the last bedroom, a further super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request) with an en-suite shower and WC.
A patio area is set to the front of the cottage where you can enjoy the views, also there is a summer house by the lake with a fitted kitchen which is shared between the two other properties. You can also roam freely around the many acres of gardens and ancient woodland. Parking is at the rear of the property , where there is ample parking for at least 5 vehicles.
You can also book property codes 75600 and 75602 to sleep 20 guests for larger family gatherings.
