This location has a great deal to offer visitors: the Cathedral with its 7th-century crypt, the Yorkshire Law & Order Museums, various craft markets, an International Music Festival, and Ripon Races - not to mention the many beautiful riverside and canal walks. Walk along the riverbank and visit Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Gardens. The historic houses of Norton Conyers, Newby Hall & Gardens and Grantley Hall are also close by. A 12-mile drive away is the town of Harrogate, which offers antique shops, Turkish Baths, and a plethora of eateries. Further afield is the city of York (25 miles) with a host of attractions.
A communal hallway and stairs lead to the first floor of this converted chapel and to the front door of this stylish duplex apartment. Once inside, guests pass through a hallway with doors leading off to the second bedroom, bathroom, and utility cupboard where the washer/dryer is kept. Another door opens to the enclosed spiral staircase to the first-floor master bedroom & en-suite. Head through to the stylish and social open-plan living area where the large arched windows draw plenty of natural light into the room, while the vibrant colourful furnishings and artwork create an uplifting and relaxing environment. You can return from a rejuvenating day of walking over the Yorkshire Dales to the inviting lounge, where you can sink into the deep sofas and relax the night away watching a movie on the Smart TV with Sky TV.
