This escape forms one of two adjoining properties on the owners' farm, and the vibrant seaside town of Hornsea is just 1 mile away. Here you can browse a variety of small shops, bars and restaurants or enjoy a day at the beach. Nearby Hornsea Mere (2 miles), the largest freshwater lake in Yorkshire, is well worth a visit and offers sailing, fishing and boat trips. There are many other beautiful coastal towns within easy reach, such as Bridlington (13 miles), and children will love a day at the Deep Aquarium in the nearby city of Hull (16 miles). Walkers and cyclists will be spoilt for choice with the Wolds Way (30 miles) and the stunning Yorkshire Wolds (25 miles) to explore. There are also various stately homes and gardens, including Burton Agnes, Sledmere House, and Sewerby Hall (all within 25 miles).
