Walk or cycle along the canal, climb a mountain, go fishing or white-water rafting on the River Dee, sail on Bala Lake, ride on the steam trains, and enjoy many sporting and cultural events nearby. Visit the National Trust’s Chirk Castle and Erddig Castles or explore Wales’ highest waterfall Pistyll Rhaeadr, all within a 27-mile radius.

Walk into this spacious house full of period charm, with exposed beams, stripped floorboards, flagstone floors, cosy wood burners and creature comforts. The hall has plenty of space for your outdoor attire, and a separate WC. Continue through to the welcoming lounge, perfect for a relaxing night in with a wood burner, comfortable sofas, Smart TV and lovely views through the French doors. Head into the elegant kitchen/diner, which is the perfect space to rustle up a meal with the local produce purchased whilst you have been exploring the area. When ready, gather around the table and enjoy a meal together in the centre of this beautiful room with a wood burner. After dinner, unwind in the sunroom on the comfortable sofas, plan your holiday activities and embrace the views, or test your skill on the football table in the utility games room. When ready to retire, there are four bedrooms to choose from upstairs, one super-king-size, one king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room, and two twins – one of which is a zip-and-link that can be a super-king-size on request. All have been designed with your comfort in mind, and there are lovely views to wake up to. Exploring this property further, there are two stylish bathrooms, with a shower over the bath and WC.

Outside, you can relax in the wood-fired hot tub, nestling in the established garden with stunning views from sunrise to sunset over the valley and river.
