This converted barn offers a comfortable rural retreat accommodation. Situated on a working farm, it rests in the peaceful North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It's perfectly placed for exploring Northumberland National Park, Hadrian's Wall, the Yorkshire Dales, and Cumbria. Just 15 miles from the historic Cathedral City of Durham and under 25 miles from Newcastle and the Metro Centre, you'll enjoy both countryside tranquility and city conveniences. Love the outdoors? The surrounding area boasts numerous cycling and walking routes. The Coast two Coast, Pennine Way, and Waskerly Way all pass nearby, making this an ideal base for adventure enthusiasts. The home welcomes up to seven people and allows two dogs.


Inside, you'll find spacious rooms that blend period charm with modern comfort. Underfloor heating throughout ensures you stay cosy whatever the season. The stone-floored entrance hall leads to a sociable open-plan living/dining area. Here, the wood burner, piano, and TV create the perfect spot for gathering everyone together after a day of exploration. Hungry? The large, well-equipped kitchen has everything you need: electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and microwave. Patio doors open directly to the garden, bringing the outside in. Upstairs, all three well-appointed bedrooms feature TV/DVDs and en-suite facilities: a flexible family room with king-size zip-and-link bed plus a single bed, and two king-size bedrooms. Each en-suite includes either a shower room or bathroom with shower over bath.


Outside, you can relax in the shared garden area with seating, perfect for enjoying the peaceful countryside views. Fancy some privacy? The property also features a private enclosed patio with outdoor lighting and a wood-fired hot tub with jets; imagine stargazing while soaking away your cares! You'll have access to ample off-road parking and a secure bike storage room.
