One of four cottages in the same location, this spacious family retreat features high ceilings, luxury fixtures and fittings, a hot tub and plenty of charm – a wonderful base from which to explore the surrounding Yorkshire countryside. The property is located on Sinderby village green, within 12 miles of the edge of the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors, making it a top spot for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. Tour the picturesque towns of Masham, Ripon, Thirsk and Bedale, all within 10 miles. The cities of York (31 miles) and Harrogate (20 miles) make for great day trips, providing an abundance of attractions to appeal to all ages. Families will enjoy the nearby attractions of Lightwater Valley (8.5 miles), Monk Park Farm (9.5 miles) and the World of James Herriot (7 miles).
Enter this semi-detached converted barn into the spacious open plan living area with space to leave coats and boots at the door. Neutral decor, soft lighting and stone flooring throughout make this a welcoming space to cook up a meal in the sleek kitchen to enjoy at the large wooden dining table with bench seating. Those not involved in the cooking can keep the chefs company on the comfortable sofa or armchairs, perhaps with a film on the Smart TV. In the evenings, retire to the lounge while the musician of the family strikes up a tune on the piano, or pop a film on the Smart TV as you relax in front of the wood burner. Underfloor heating makes it extra cosy. Patio doors lead to the garden, bringing the outside in on warm days. Upstairs, two large en-suite bedrooms with Juliet balconies and Smart TVs are lovely spaces to unwind after long days out.
