Set in a peaceful location within the fragile landscape of the New Forest, this characterful building has an abundance of charm and was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the New Forest National Park Building Design Award 2019 for the Conservation category. The pretty village of Woodgreen has community shop and a pub and is surrounded by beautiful countryside, making it the ideal spot for walking and cycling. Many picturesque towns and villages are easily accessible from here, including Fordingbridge and Ringwood, which both offer a great selection of cafes, shops and restaurants. Heading further South from the chapel is the coast. Sandy beaches can be found at Bournemouth, Mudeford and Highcliffe, making them popular destinations for a day out by the sea. The cathedral cities of Salisbury and Southampton are within easy reach for a spot of retail therapy.
From the parking area to the rear of the chapel a small pathway and steps lead you to the rear entrance. A utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer can be found just inside the door. With space for muddy boots and paws it's the ideal spot for unwrapping after those winter walks. Just opposite is a contemporary bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. A step down brings you into the fantastic open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, this room is the perfect social space as it is warmed by underfloor heating and has character features in abundance, including vaulted windows and galleried bedrooms above. The stylish kitchen area is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and dishwasher. With an inviting dining area just opposite, you can enjoy relaxed meals here. In the lounge area relax on the comfy sofa and enjoy a film. A separate WC and steps to the front entrance can be found at the end of the lounge area. Two individual stair cases lead from the lounge to the open mezzanine style bedrooms: one a king-size and the other a twin. Both bedrooms benefit from privacy screens.
Heading outside from the rear door you will find an inviting patio, with garden furniture, making it the perfect spot for enjoying a drink or meal outdoors. There is off-road parking available to the rear of the chapel for two cars.
