Sleeping four and welcoming two dogs, this is the perfect base for couples or small families planning Northumberland adventures together with their four-pawed pals in tow. The host village provides excellent amenities including a highly acclaimed restaurant, friendly country pubs, a Mill Museum, and a well-stocked shop. For outdoor enthusiasts, numerous country and forest trails are to be enjoyed, while the property's proximity to the Northumberland Dark Sky Park offers exceptional stargazing opportunities. Within easy reach are the historic market towns of Corbridge and Hexham, magnificent National Trust properties like Cragside House and Wallington Hall, and the scenic Kielder Water and Forest Park. The unspoilt Northumberland coastline, with sandy beaches including Bamburgh and Lindisfarne, is within touring distance, as are the Scottish Borders with historic Jedburgh nearby.


Step inside and be greeted by a delightful lounge/diner with traditional decor and furnishings that set the scene for a cosy cottage stay. Unwind in here after days of Northumberland adventures, sinking into the sofas as the open fire crackles and the TV plays your favourite films. When stomachs start to rumble, find that the adorable kitchen is well equipped with everything needed for cooking up holiday feasts, which can be enjoyed at the round dining table nearby or al fresco-style out in the garden. Completing the ground floor is a handy utility room. At the end of each busy day away, head up the cottage-style stairs and find a pretty double bedroom overlooking the rear garden. A well-appointed family bathroom sits close by, while the master double bedroom is found up a further flight of stairs and boasts a feature fireplace and far-reaching valley views.


The enclosed rear garden features a seating area perfect for al fresco dining and evenings spent stargazing. A delightful summer house at the top offers an ideal spot to relax with a good book come rain or shine. The property includes private off-road parking for one car, with additional on-street parking opposite (subject to availability).
