Nestling in the heart of the North Devon countryside close to the border with Cornwall this is the ultimate retreat for friends and family to enjoy. Family theme parks ‘The Big Sheep’ and ‘The Milky Way’, nearby North Devon Wake and Aqua park provide a great day out and all within 15 miles. There are a wealth of breath-taking coastlines just a short drive, with the popular town of Bude only 9 miles away and boasting array of shops, pubs and restaurants alongside a choice of stunning sandy beaches. Similar distanced but located on the Devon side, you can discover Hartland Abbey and Quay, and the picturesque fishing village of Clovelly. Walkers will also be in their element with Dartmoor and Exmoor within easy reach, and the latter providing a gateway to further must see destinations including Lynton, Lynmouth and Porlock. Other attractions accessible from here include historic Tintagel, Boscastle and Bodmin Moor.

At the front of this stunning property a pretty porch with original flagstones leads through into the spacious hallway. To the left the accommodation then opens into the impressive lounge, a generously proportioned room with cosy sofas arranged around a warming wood burner and a Smart TV and DVD player, and also boasting a set of French doors to the garden meaning that you can enjoy the fresh air in warm weather. This wonderful space with fabulous high ceilings provides the perfect place to relax and watch a film or challenge other guests to a board game at the end of a day exploring. Located opposite the lounge is another impressively large room, the dining room, and this also offers the comfort of a wood burner, an additional TV, plus a further set of French doors leading outside. Heading further into the property you will then discover the perfectly appointed kitchen which boasts a lovely contemporary country style and includes an electric range oven and hob, microwave, American style fridge/freezer and also a dishwasher. Further informal dining is provided in the shape of a breakfast bar in the kitchen, and an undeniably useful utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer is located in the next room. Venture slightly further and tucked away towards the rear of the property is the first of the beautiful bedrooms, a spacious king-size room with a feature fire surround. Completing the offering on the ground floor is a shower room with large walk-in shower and WC, and a further separate WC. A fabulous and unique original staircase then leads to the first floor where you will find the remainder of the bedrooms, all lovingly decorated in a light and fresh yet in-keeping style.
