Situated outside Turvey, one of a number of picturesque villages situated on the course of the River Great Ouse, in the Bedfordshire countryside. Guests staying at Rose Cottage will find a wide range of attractions in the area catering for a variety of tastes and needs. Close to the Market town of Bedford which is renowned as having one of the finest riverside settings in the country, the property is also within easy reach of Milton Keynes with its wide variety of shops, culinary options and the country’s largest real snow resort, Snowzone. Nearby Woburn Abbey with it’s safari park is also a fantastic day out and the absolutely stunning University city of Cambridge with it’s waterways and historic buildings less than an hour’s drive.

From the Rose Garden guests enter the cottage lounge with it’s comfortable sofa and armchairs, inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove and Smart TV so you can cosy up and watch your favourite shows after a busy day out exploring the local area. The contemporary kitchen is well equipped and has an electric combination oven and microwave, induction hob, fridge and washer/dryer. Should you wish to dine in then you have a spacious table with seating for four. Upstairs is the king-size bedroom with plenty of storage space for your belonging and views over the gardens and fields. The luxurious shower room is the perfect place to revitalize your senses before you head out for more adventures. Guests will have the exclusive use of the cottage’s walled rose garden with it’s external inglenook fireplace that contains an open fire.

Guests will also have access to the owners surrounding gardens which include two large wildlife ponds, orchards, lawns, woodland and fields. You can relax in peaceful surroundings overlooking the Deer Park of Picts Hill House which grazes a variety of deer, highland cattle, water buffalo and lamas or walk the public foot paths and bridleways which are within easy access. There is plenty of off road parking including a dedicated space with this property.
