This stunning barn conversion sits near Church Stretton, within the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and only 0.5 miles from the peaceful village of Cardington. An idyllic location with much to offer within 15 miles: ride a steam train on the Severn Valley Railway, visit Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site, or numerous National Trust properties. Explore the Shropshire Hills including the Long Mynd, renowned for gliding, the dramatic scenery of the Stiperstones, walk or cycle the Shropshire Way or enjoy a game at the second highest golf course in England. The market towns of Much Wenlock, Ludlow and Shrewsbury have independent eateries, shops and events celebrating good food, arts, crafts, horticulture and theatre.


This creatively designed barn has specifically been designed with accessible needs in mind - meaning there is superb level access and a wheelchair friendly wet room among a number of other features. It is full of interesting, thoughtful little extras to enhance your stay, including bio-mass underfloor heating and a cosy wood burner. Come through the porch with plenty of space for your outdoor attire, leading to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a lovely sociable space. Open the feature doors and let the outside in. Relax in the sofas, watch the Smart TV or light the wood burner for cosy nights in. Exploring this delightful property further, you will find four bedrooms. There is an accessible twin zip-and-link room (which can be prepared as super-king-size upon request) with Smart TV and sliding door to the wet room, and a king-size with a Jack-and-Jill shower room that can also be accessed from the hallway, then head down a few steps to the twin room with an en-suite shower room. Upstairs is the super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be prepared as a twin on request).


Heading outside, you are in for a treat in the enclosed garden with feature railings and gate to a paddock to exercise the dog. Relax on paved areas with feature planting for morning coffee, enjoy al fresco dining at the table and chairs or just sit back and enjoy the water feature and sounds of the local wildlife.
