Escape from it all at this charming three-bedroom Cottage in St Harmon; complete with a large garden, stream and hot tub, it’s perfect for friends and small families. This delightful little village is just 3 miles from the bustling market town of Rhayader, and offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities enthusiasts. From the doorstep, you can explore many public footpaths and the gorgeous surrounding countryside. Gilfach Nature Reserve (2 miles) is a special place to visit; a wide variety of habitats, from high moorland to oak woodland, make it a haven for birds and animals. Elan Valley, 6 miles, is great for keen walkers, cyclists and anglers. If you prefer to travel by four legs rather than two, Lion Royal Pony Trekking Centre can be found 3 miles from the property.

Wooden flooring sets the tone for elegant interiors. In the spacious lounge, comfy furniture is arranged around a wood burner sitting in an attractive brick fireplace. This is a great spot to relax in front of the TV, or look out over the garden through the patio doors. A navy and white colour scheme gives the kitchen a stylish finish. Along with the usual kitchen appliances, you’ll find a Belfast sink and a chic dining table. Three bedrooms – a King size master bedroom with ensuite shower room, a double and a twin (which can be made up as a king-size on request) – are welcoming and as beautifully presented as the rest of the property, with the double boasting garden views. The modern family shower room completes the layout of this enchanting property.

Head out of the lounge via the patio doors and onto the decking, which overlooks a lovely lawn leading down to a stream. A picnic table on the decked area provides the option of eating your meals outside when the weather permits. Undoubtedly the most appealing feature of this delightful outdoor space, however, is the hot tub. You can raise a glass to happy holidays while enjoying a relaxing soak. From here, steps lead down to the lawn, where there is a fire pit – ideal for toasting marshmallows on starlit nights.
