Fun getaway

Nice cabin with a quiet location. Reasonable cost with all the essentials of home. Need a 4 wheel drive to park boat . Would stay there again.

Nice cabin

Nice cabin It was very comfortable if a few minor things were improved it would be a 5 star the surface was clean but a good deep clean is needed curtains and high areas have a layer of visible dust, the kitchen light was out Idid report it right away but ended up bringing a living room light into kitchen to see.. all in all a nice place

Great home!

The outdoor table on the deck was amazing! The home is very spacious with plenty of room for a big family. Location is amazing and has a beautiful unhindered view of open space. Two trees in front of the house make for a perfect hammock spot. It does get very hot but you can't really escape it in Shaver in the summer. We will absolutely stay her again with a big group.

Not prepared to have guests.

Overall it was a pretty nice cabin in shaver. However, there were two rolls of toilet paper in the house and no paper towels. Management was nice enough to have more delivered, but this shouldn’t happen. Additionally, if you’re going to advertise a bbq on site, it would be nice if there was propane to use said bbq. It would also be nice if there was a trash can in the house as well and more towels. Overall, they just need to plan better for guests.

Basic cabin, ok

It is old and very dark inside. The couches were nice. Beds very firm and no one got good sleep on them. The heater can only be used for 2 hours at a time. It has to be turned off or the tv is damaged. Bathrooms were updated and showers were great.

We were unimpressed with this home. The address needs to be lit, it was impossible to find at night. Our vehicle could not make it up the driveway, so we had to walk up and down every time, kind of a nightmare at night, in the cold with some young kids. There were some bugs on my daughter's pillow. Not a nice place, stay elsewhere

From the front to back, the home needed painting and repair. Not a welcome site for a Christmas vacation. It was dirty, paint was peeling, beds uncomfortable, no mattress pads. Outlets wouldn’t hold plugs. Dark w/burned out lightbulbs. No heat upstairs

Overall spacious cabin!

This was a very nice spacious cabin. I chose it because of the open floor plan. The kitchen is a good size with a table that seats 6 plus 2 bar stools. One of the 3 bedrooms is large. The other 2 are VERY small with one side of the bed under the slanted ceiling so u can’t stand up straight on that side. Not a huge deal. Just a bit inconvenient. 2 full baths which was nice for our group of 6 adults & 2 young children. I think a little upkeep is needed. Only 1 lightbulb out of 4 in the light fixture over the dining table! One of the small bedrooms doesn’t have a window shade or blinds so no sleeping in past 6 am! And there were only 2 very small worn kitchen towels. Definitely need additional ones that are regular size. However, there were MORE than enough nice bath towels. 😊 The deck is also spacious with plenty of chairs. All in all it was a good experience and we will definitely come back!

Plenty of room for sure

We went there for Thx giving 2019. Well there was about 1 foot snow when we got there. Almost no heating system (cause the fireplace wasn't working - due to not having any batteries on) it was freezing and we all ended up sleeping in our winter jacket near Woodburner first night. The maintenance team were amazing and fixed the fireplace for us the next day and no problem for a couple of ours untill the first floor ceiling started leaking (due to upstrairs bathroom). Any ways again we called and the property manager was very professional and sent their maintenance the next day again. They couldn't fix it but, we were fine having one shower (first floor) for 6 adults and 2 kids. not a big deal for one day. Honestly, communication with ppl were so easy and I think the property manager and maintenance are amazing! But unfortunately, the cleaning crew failed in multiple areas 1) not making sure the heating system works 2) not catching the leak in upstairs shower 3) not cleaning properly. Pot and kettle were not clean, dust was all over the place. But the house itself is nice, roomy, lots of resources and very homey.

Great spot, but needs some TLC

My small family of 3 stayed at The Limit end of December 2022. It was a great location, located in Shaver proper within walking distance to town and only a short drive up to the snow parks and 30 min from China Peak. The home was very spacious and could easily accommodate larger parties/families. There were some upgrades in the home, like new carpet and a new, very large couch, and a new oven/cooktop and microwave. However, the reason we couldn't rate The Limit higher than a 3 is because of the cleanliness. When first entering the home, it appeared to be somewhat clean, the cleaning crew did a good surface clean, but the longer we stayed there, we noticed that the home could really use a deep clean. The baseboards were caked in a nasty black grime and some spots of the walls throughout the home needed a good scrub down. Although the carpets were new, my 4 year old kept finding food particles throughout the home, downstairs and upstairs, we even found a used Q-Tip. Our bedroom sheets were clean, however the bed my daughter slept in had black hairs all over the sheets. I would also suggest bringing your own blankets as the large quilts that the home offered were very dusty/musky and hadn't looked like they'd been cleaned in a while. The bed we slept in was comfortable enough though. Overall, I would recommend this place as long as your standards for cleanliness are low. If that stuff doesn't bother you, book today!

Cozy home

Renting was easy. Everything was in operational order,a little stuffy and dusty. We kept windows open the entire time. We couldn't have a campfire something we were looking forward to. We drove to lake and water level was low. Never seen the lake so low and so much of the beautiful forest burnt from fires. SAD. house accomodations were good. Liked the deck and dining area!

The Limit Cabin

Cabin was very clean! The beds were comfortable. Bathrooms clean! The kitchen had all the utensils we needed, although I brought the kitchen sink! Ha! The outside patio table great for family group. The fire pit great for smores. Weather was great during our stay.

Quiet gettaway

The place was nice just had a few things that gave us a challenge. Bottom bathroom door wouldn’t lock shut all the time, there was no cable like advertised for 2 out of our 3 days, and parking was a challenge for our boat. Other than that the place was cozy and relaxing to stay at. I would stay again but would never bring my boat with me.
