The condo is very comfortable and had everything we needed in it. There is easy access parking and a beautiful pool & hot tub & sauna in the building. The views are stupendous. Thanks for a wonderful mountain getaway.

Nice place for a long weekend

Place was nice. Mostly clean. Master bath sink was clogged and had a very slow drain. Before we ever used it you could see it was covered with soap yuck and hairs likely from previous guest. Rest of the condo was great. Hot tub was ok, but not great.

Everything was as advertised ...

Silverthorne is always a convenient place to stay. The condo met our needs. No issues. Would rent there again. Was a little surprised to see that we dealt with management company. All of my previous rentals through VRBO dealt with owners, not management companies. The name VRBO (Vacation rental by OWNER) kind of implies that you would be dealing with the owner directly. It wasn't an issue, just was surprised.

Thanks for the review and for staying with us. VRBO has been a mix of both types for a very long time and no longer spells out the acronym. The fact that this is a managed rather than owned property is disclosed prominently in the listing and in all of the e-mails we send before and after a booking is made. As a management company we have an excellent and highly experienced housekeeping and maintenance team. And because this is what we do for a living, we can and do make tremendous efforts to give great guest experiences. We are all about earning good reviews and hosting return guests. Fantastic views

We had a wonderful stay in this condo. The mountain views from the balcony were fantastic, and we really enjoyed relaxing on the balcony. The condo was clean and well-equipped; however, the sink in the master bathroom was draining extremely slowly---and was nearly stopped up. We also think the instructions for entering the condo could have been clearer (we had no idea that we were to "open" the box to retrieve a key; we simply thought the number code would open the door.) It was also difficult to replace the key and box when we left. Overall, it was a wonderful place, and we would stay there again!

what a great place and what a great view!

we stayed for our family vacation over the easter weekend, and the accommodations were great. plenty of space for the 3 kids and both adults, the view was amazing. If there was a neutral about this place, not really even a drawback but maybe just some suggestions for future rentals would be that the heat in the condo was really high, and there was a little lack of selection in the spice cabinet, only salt and pepper, we don't need a lot just some garlic, or onion powder or something would be nice to have. I left you my garlic herb seasoning! but again i would not in anyway hesitate to stay here again! nice quiet location, good pool and hot tub, an elevator for hauling your luggage and everyone i had contact with about the rental and throughout the rental process were very helpful and courteous. thanks for a great weekend! would not hesitate to stay here or at other properties for the same company!

Thanks for staying with us and taking the time to write a review. This is one of our favorite spots and the view can’t be beat. If we may make a suggestion for anyone staying anywhere, whenever there is a mechanical problem such as too much heat, please call your host and let them know while you're still there. When we read this review, we dispatched maintenance and they discovered that an electronic heating control valve had gotten stuck. It was replaced and the system was working fine within two hours of reading the review, but because it wasn't reported during the stay, we did not have the opportunity to fix it while this person was our guest. We always want our guests to have an awesome experience. Thanks for leaving some spice for the next guest. These types of rentals may not always supply a wide variety of spices because it is impossible to predict who might want what. But you will usually find the basics and the general request is to replace whatever you use up. It is to some extent an honor system that typically works well. Between guest stays, housekeeping will remove anything that looks as though it could have been contaminated by a previous guest, such as an opened container of food, juice etc. This is done for everyone's safety. We look forward to your next visit!

No hot tub, awful experience all around

Do not book this unit or any unit managed by Vacasa. This unit does not have a functioning hot tub, and it was also dirty and smelled like cigarette smoke. I left several messages with the property manager, Vacasa, and did not receive a single response from them. I finally had to call VRBO who was able to reach Vacasa days later, but even then, Vacasa was still extremely unhelpful. I will never rent a unit managed by them again.

Good location and price, but lacks real customer support

Condo was clean and quiet. Well stocked Kitchen.Great showers. Amazing view from the deck.However, there were obvious flaws that made this stay less than ideal.Wifi password provided was wrong and it took 3 days until we were finally provided with a working password.Dish network wouldn’t work, and customer service said it wasn’t available, even though it says so in the listing.Listing said there was washer and dryer, but they are in the common area in basement and are pay machines.Battery powering the door combo was running low so we had to be lighting fast to open the door. I told them the first night we checked in but saw no fix.The can opener lacked the part that actually pierces the can, which made opening a few cans for cooking a bit more of an adventure than planned.And finally, there used to be a common game room, but I didn’t see the update showing it was closed due to regulations (currently under construction) and because of the construction, the pool was also closed, and we didn’t brave the sauna because we couldn’t tell if it was operational.It felt like the place was run by an out of state corporation, with little actual knowledge of the unit or ability to provide assistance.I hope this helps you prepare should you rent, or for the owners to fix their poor service.

Property had no hot water 1st 2 days. Later, 2x no water. Property was old, dirty and needs repair. Some non English speaking maintenance (appearing as) wanted to come in to check toilet. I wasn't informed earlier so denied them entrance. Though Vacasa did refund me 2 days rent, I'll not stay there again.

We had an amazing family vacation to Colorado. Silverthorn was strategically located close to all things Colorado: white water rafting; kayaking; zip lining; hiking; amazing dinners out; Alpine slides and coaster; ghost tour; farmer's market and Melissa Ethridge concert!!

Amazing property & Vacasa is amazing, too!

We typically take 2 really nice vacations a year, and rent via VRBO or Airbnb. With the rising fees of these companies our vacations started to almost double in price. A room for $149 was over $250 With taxes, fees, and all the extra stuff they throw in. This was not the case with the VACASA!! I am so glad I found them! This property, which I found last minute (!), Was phenomenal. The location was everything mentioned in the reviews. You could sit out on your deck in the morning, having coffee, and have amazing views of the mountains, Breckenridge, and the Dillon Reservoir. We also spent our afternoons on the deck, having happy hour! There was enough seating on the deck for four. The condo itself is very well equipped. The bedrooms are large, the bathrooms were also a decent size. The kitchen had everything you needed, full-size refrigerator, and every appliance you needed. The beds are the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. I think the website mentioned that they were brand new, so I’m going to try to find out what they are! I really need these in my home. The location of this condo could not be more perfect. It was a short drive to the outlet mall, restaurants, Dillon, and hiking. We could actually hike right outside our front door. The pool and hot tub were an added bonus. We took several day trips over here, to Vail, and grand Lake. Both of these are also highly recommended. I did have a question for the staff, and was able to reach them easily on the phone. They were super helpful and very nice and professional. I can’t imagine ever using VRBO or Airbnb ever again. Thank you for making our vacation amazing.

This was a great place to stay. We had plenty of comfortable space for our family of 5. Beautiful view from the balcony! The only tricky part was finding the correct wing of the complex. Would definitely stay here again.
