Elegant Hideaway| Twin baths under the stars

Extremely remote hut set privately within 15 acres of wilderness to relax in the remotest part of Kent with direct access into the beautiful valley.

Most guests visit us to shut the world out. However, we are also spoilt for things to do locally and have some terrific pubs/ restaurants.

The Fern is beautifully situated along a private path through a meadow field that winds its was down into a secluded bank with beautiful surroundings. It looks out onto ferns with a sweeping valley in the distance. A place where you really sense shutting the world out. Guests will enjoy the space to themselves.

The kitchen facilities include a hob, air fryer, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge (with small freezer compartment) cookware. We have a fire pit and supply newspaper and firelighters but guests will need to bring wood/ coal for the fire pit.

A DVD player is provided with a large choice of films to choose from to enjoy on the cooler nights. I'm afraid this is not a TV as we do not get internet/ coverage at the hut. Games are also provided.

We are an EXTREMLEY remote, rural area and it becomes very dark at night. We live in an Area of Outstanding Natural beauty and having lit walkways in the field is not something that we are permitted to ensure minimal impact on the night sky and surrounding area (perfect for watching the uninterrupted stars in the night sky) . We ask guests to take extra care especially in the winter when we are prone to muddy conditions. WELLIES ARE A MUST in wetter months.
