Big house, great for large groups. There were a lot of pillows missing on the beds, and the ones that were there were missing pillowcases. Some of the beds didn’t have top sheets. So we had to spend time searching for linens in the house, didn’t find everything . Would’ve been nice if the beds were ready to go!

We stayed here for our annual family weekend. We have a large family and it comfortably fit us all. The backyard worked great for yard games and hanging out. It was nice to have so many options for little ones to nap without being disturbed. We made our way to Father Hennepin State park for a day and spent a morning playing disc golf in Milaca which also had great playgrounds to visit. The lake was very green, but it still worked great to have a dock for launching canoes and kayaks from.

First All Family Cabin Weekend

We had a fantastic first all-family cabin weekend here. The layout is perfect for large groups, with separate sides of the house for those who prefer quiet or an earlier bedtime. The home was clean, well-maintained, fully stocked with kitchen essentials, and everything worked flawlessly.The only drawback and possibly the reason we may not return is the heavy weed growth and low water level around the dock, which made docking a boat impossible. As a fishing and watersports family, this meant rearranging our plans and spending hours shuttling boats to and from the public landing.With weed mitigation, this would be a place we’d gladly come back to every year.

The home was amazing. Plenty of space for my family.. I loved the kitchen and the dining table to seat all of us for meals and playing games. Having two refrigerators to use was a plus.The two living spaces were nice, especially for kids to play in one area and adult to use it for playing video or watching tvI would suggest making sure you have enough eating utensils as there wasn’t enough forks.(Only had 8 )They did supply plenty of towels, but no washcloths.. I would recommend to update the gas grill. We didn’t use it because the bottom part was gone and rotted away. The kids had fun playing outside in the yard despite of being hot.I would recommend, especially for large groups as there’s plenty of living space.

Beautiful house!

Perfect for our family of 12. Dining area was great and fit everyone, 2 separate living spaces, 2 large fridges, and beautiful kitchen. Well stocked with everything we needed EXCEPT there were only 8 forks for 12 peeps. There was an abundance of knifes and spoons, so we solved it by buying plastic forks. The outdoor area was very nice for eating, playing games and holding S'mores ingredients. The grill is in bad shape, and the deck is not as wide as it looks on the pictures but aside from that the property is a solid 5!!

Very nice, comfortable, spacious for our group. Should have a system of checking out kitchen supplies, silverware, bowls and check condition of cutting boards and cake pans and cooking sheets. Things get used a lot from all the visitors, but should always have enough supplies to meet the group. Such as 15 forks, spoons,etc. Time to check out the grill and replace. We did enjoy our visit and a few miner tweaks will make it perfect!

Fabulous home on Ann Lake!

This home was the perfect place for our family reunion on Ann Lake -- spacious, inviting, and great floor plan and kitchen for a large group. The outdoor area was also fabulous -- wonderful fire pit with chairs (bring your own wood), stairs right down to the lake, the use of the long dock, Corn Hole games, deck, etc. Also parking for about 6 cars. Matt responded very quickly and respectfully to all our questions, and even suggested a person from whom we could rent a pontoon and have it delivered to the public launch near the VRBO. That worked great!! We can't recommend Matt and this VRBO highly enough!
Steps with hand rail from yard/firepit down to well-maintained dock.
Hanging out with family in one of two spacious living room areas joined by expansive dining area with great views of the lake.
Very large, lovely firepit area. BBQ also available for your use. Super family-friendly place!

Just as it said it was

This house was AMAZING . I would highly recommend it to anyone. The only complaint we have is it got kinda hot in the upstairs bedrooms and no fans.

Extended relatives flew in for a wedding

My cousins and aunts/uncles made the trek from Montana to come to my wedding! They stayed in this vrbo and said the rooms were great and the kitchen.

Great family place

Multiple families stayed at the house during my son's wedding weekend. The house is very nice and the layout is perfect to give everyone plenty of space and privacy. It was close enough to Mora and Ivory North for wedding activities.

Friends getaway/get together

Had a group of high school and college friends get together, had a great time with plenty of room for everyone to spread out with multiple bedrooms, large dining area and two living rings. Could use a little more of a deeper clean in areas of the house but was most of all clean. The added paper work required by the host was a bit of a surprise and hassle but not horrible, haven’t needed to do this at any other vrbo that I’ve rented in the past.

Spacious Lake Home

There are only so many homes that will fit our very large family. We were glad to find a five bedroom five bath home and the space did not disappoint. The fire pit that overlooks the lake was a delightful place to hang out in the evening. Having two corn-hole set ups was a lot of fun. The house was generally clean and exactly as pictured in the listing. Having two refrigerators was a necessity, and we were so grateful for it. We stay at many VRBO’s and we’re disappointed in the lack of some of what we consider basics in these rental units. For instance, there were no matches or firewood for the fire pit, and the number of wash cloths was not adequate for our stay. There was barely enough utensils to serve one meal to our group of 11. Up We were also disappointed that there was no recycling capacities. These were minor inconveniences that did not detract from our stay. We would stay here again.

Best Rental Ever In Every Way

We stayed here for a family vacation. The set up was perfect. We had 6 adults and 5 children. Three families total who got their own spaces. The common space was large and comfortable. The outside space was amazing. We had the lake to ourselves. We took our pontoon boat, and this rental had a private dock. The place was well stocked. It was a nice change to see we weren't limited on trash bags and toilet paper. Property very well maintained and clean. Amber Gehringer

Ann Lake Vacation

This property was as advertised. It accommodated our family very well. We found Pickleball courts in Mora, and played several times with locals. Our stay was outstanding, and we are seriously considering reserving again next year. Thank you.

Loved this place

The property was wonderful with lots of space for the family to gather and spread out. There was kind of a lot of paperwork to print and fill out for the check in and check out, but the rest was beautiful.

Great place

The pictures do no justice to this beautiful place . The place was great!!!! Everything you need is here. Huge place for our group of ten! If I could give ten stars to this place I would because it's way better then a 5 in my opinion. Enough beds enough space great big kitchen . Right on the lake . Great fire pit . I can't say enough good things about this place I would definitely try to book again ! Very very clean

Perfect house for reunion!

We had a group of 12 friends up for a reunion of my husband’s band who were playing at the Firepit bar nearby! The house is fabulous for a large group! Plenty of beds and baths and huge kitchen and table! Gorgeous lake views and great fire pit! We had a fabulous time and this house was perfect!! Host even left a pitcher of fresh tulips on the table! Would come back in a heartbeat! Wish all VRBO’s were this nice!

Annual Mora Girlfriend Trip

This is the 3rd year we’ve stayed here. The house is perfect for a girlfriend get away. Plenty of space to spread out - we love the extra large dining table in the dining room. The view of the lake is lovely while sitting around a fire at the fire pit. Close to charming downtown Mora where you will find a beautiful antique store along with other charming shops. We hope to be back again next May.
