Cute one bedroom apartment

The apartment is in a nice place with good security once inside all amenities I needed were provided. I booked for only four nights and tried to book for another month but unfortunately the apartment was not available, however Elena the owner who is very responsive and truly cares about her guest was able to offer me her other apartment only 10 minutes away in Rohrmoser. I had a great experience and I was fortunate to pick this apartment and have the best host Elena… Thank you!

Nice neighborhood, uncomfortable apartment

Neighborhood is nice, cafe on ground floor, beautiful park across the street. The apartment has a nice kitchen but is very uncomfortable. Only had one place to sit besides the bed, and that was in a hard plastic chair. We are 73 and were in town for dental work, so we spent a lot of time in the apartment. Unless you plan on being out most of the time, do not recommend

I am so proud of my product and feel I must address this retaliatory comment caused from asking to pay for damages caused while staying at my home. As a premier host and a peron who is prides themselves on clarity, honesty and a superior product. The pictures are exactly as the apartment is: there is no picture of a couch anywhere - it is a studio and all details can be seen on my listing. The booking was made well in advance and there were no additional communication asking questions if there were any ambiguities. The location: as said is tremendous, safe, park, gym, cafe, top end appliances and amenities. I encourage all to read other reviews and hope you will come to the same conclusion that the apartment is even better than advertised.

Incredible Accommodation & Experience!!

I came to Costa Rica for the first time and although I didn't have a fixed itinerary, I intended to first stay in San José for 3-4 days. I feel so lucky to have found this property, and to have rented from the owner. The Q-bo Skyhomes building itself is upscale, with beautiful entry, water features, sitting area and a guard desk. The building has an outdoor area on second floor - two beautiful, infinity hot tubs, great indoor fitness room, and sauna. At night, the outdoor area (incl. where the hot tubs are), have nice landscape lighting illuminating the marble walls for a nice, mellow effect, especially with the lights of residences on the mountainsides in the background. The unit itself is very cool. It has a very modern feel, with concrete walls, floor-to-ceiling windows with sliding door ) great views, especially at night!!), stainless appliances and kitchen faucet, and glass enclosed shower. The low profile bed was SO comfortable. I slept very well during my stay! Finally, I can't say enough good things about my experience with the host, Elena. From the point of reservation, she was very prompt and thorough in her communications. I had all the information I needed to check in, enter the unit (easy digital keypad; no key), connecting to wi-fi (simple and fast speed), etc. Her communication and kindness alone, made the stay a great experience. The residents of the building were really nice, as well. I was very impressed and hope to be able to rent this property again. I guess you could say it was my first experience of la pura pida : : ()

San Jose Stay

The apartment was plenty of space for me and my boyfriend to spend a couple of nights. It is walking distance from a large park and some restaurants and a quick Uber to the city center. It also has a great view of the city. The apartment building was very nice and we felt very safe.

Living in the Sky

Open area concept with the basics for living, an upscale building with condominiums. Great view over the city and sorrounding mountains. Confortable bed, big TV screen. Elena is very communicatice and ready to help.

Amazing Modern Studio woned by a first class detailed host

I travel a lot for both work and pleasure. In the past few years I have moved more towards the VRBO model for value and experience. Elena made my trip 100% stress free with clear communication, easy self check in, and a very friendly personality. The building is new and very modern. The apartment, on a high floor, has everything you could need. Not only is it filled with all the appliances, towels, pots, pans, etc. the quality of the above is excellent. The house has fast Wifi, a smart TV and Apple TV allowing me to have all the down time with my own home entertainment comforts. In all honestly, it was nicer and more modern than my own home. The location is perfect and is very close to restaurants, public transpiration, and 15-20 minutes from the airport and close to a little food market. My travels bring me to San Jose Costa Rica often and I will make this my home away from home. I highly recommend this studio and working with Elena - you will see many reviews from me!

James, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. However, your comments don't match our conversations. I don't understand how you can say the style is not for you when we have many many clear pictures of our studio on the site. Regarding the noise, we are on the 16th floor facing the valley . I follow up with all my guest multiple times to see if there is anything I can do to help. Not once did you mention anything negative and in-fact you reconfirmed everything was great. Therefore, the comments and rating are very contrary to all discussions and other guest reviews. I am sorry it was not for you. Next time I recommend you pay more attention to the pictures as our are crystal clear for our amazing offering. All the best in the future.

Great Apartment - Excellent View

When we arrived everything shined! The apartment is exactly as described. The view over the city and mountains was great. Sunrises were amazing. Very convenient to shopping, dining, City Center, etc. A definite yes!!!

Wonderful visit in San Jose, Costa Rica!

The property was really modern and clean! It had everything you could need to cook meals if that is what you chose to do. New, high quality appliances were great! The instructions that Elena provided were very thorough and made getting to the unit no problem. Any questions that we had were responded to immediately and it was greatly appreciated! We enjoyed our stay at this condo.

Amazing Stay and Great Hospitality

Elena's place exceeded our expectations. The apartment is so well equipped it had everything we needed and more. The view from her place is spectacular and a cosy place for nights in looking out at the night lights. The facilities like the pool and hot tub were great to help relax at the end of the day. We rented a car and having secured parking was a bonus. I would highly recommend her place as somewhere to stay. She gave us very clear instructions which made getting in and around easy. I appreciated her genuine interest in making sure we enjoyed our time in San Jose.

Modern Clean Apartment

I recently stayed with Elena for 1 week at her brand new condo in Rohrmoser, San Jose, Costa Rica and I thoroughly enjoyed my time while there. The apartment is a short cab ride from downtown San Jose, and is equipped with every amenity; Kurig coffee maker, full sized fridge and oven, a dishwasher and washer and dryer. The apartment itself is tastefully decorated, and the building is stunning! There's a nice lap pool downstairs, along with a hot and cold jacuzzi. I would highly recommend this property for anyone traveling to San Jose, and for the price, it is a fantastic deal! Make sure you book early so as to not miss out on this great opportunity!

To clarify for those reading -Jane rented the studio for her family and I do not feel the 4 Stars is accurate - Jane confirmed she does not know why I would not get 5 starts while your mom and aunt stayed in the home. Everyday we checked in to make sure everything was perfect and we were greeted with "Yes - Everything is great". Even before your arrival we sent additional pictures and confirmed our property would be exactly what you and your mother were looking for in your stay in San Jose Costa Rica.

Basically, your home away from home is my studio... sit back, relax and enjoy!

Close to everything... safe and great neighborhood... Delicious restaurants a stones throw away... we can arrange private drivers, UBER works great, the taxi works and the busses run on time... this is a country with a great infrastructure making your stay spectacular.

If you drive, I suggest that you down load the app WAZE... it works the best!
