A few notes for others.Sally responded quickly to requests or questions. Kitchen has all the dishes and dish soaps. Clothes washer is easy to work and soap sheets were available.She has provided good towels. Sheets and beds are comfortable. There are both firm and soft pillows to choose from. Light in bathroom is good. Shower has shampoo, conditioner and body wash, No bar soap. Light in the living room is not bright but sufficient for reading. There is a good reading chair. There are games in the cabinet. The AC works easily and accurately. There is a back patio with a roof with is perfect for sun and rain protection. The TV is big. It has subscription channels.The security is good. Access and lockup were not a problem.The road in front if not busy. There is a short path to walk in the woods in back. Grocery and restaurants are 10 minutes. Nashville Belle Meade area is about 35 min. We would come again! Thank you, Sally and Tim

Connecting with nature

This property is about 12 minutes from downtown Franklin. Easy to get to, private, and lush greenery in the back. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and watching the birds and visiting the donkeys next door. Thanks Sally for a lovely stay.

Country Stay City Ease

The location is a delightful distance between Franklin and Leipers Fork. The owners were amazingly communicative and helpful with anything we might’ve needed. I don’t think I’ve been in a cleaner home in my life.

Beautiful and a wonderful blessing! A retreat for sure!

We absolutely loved our stay at Adagio! The home is classy, warm, cozy and refined! The artwork, the fireplace, and the island all bring such character. It is beautiful inside and out! The views are amazing from every window! The birds on the bird feeder are delightful to watch out the window every morning. Every detail has been thought of! We didn't cook, but if we needed to, Adagio was stocked with everything we would need. It doesn't have a garbage disposal, but it's not really necessary. The master bed was comfortable. Tim and Sally are delightful and warm and got back to us right away with any questions that we had. When I met Sally, I felt like I had know her for years. The hosts really do make a difference in the character of the place! The location is perfect! Shopping is down the street and around the corner, but you also are in the country and close to Franklin and Leiper's Fork. It is also a short walk to the Harpeth River. The property also has trails to explore that we didn't get to just due to time. We will be back! Thank you, Tim and Sally!

The Best Getaway!

We cannot even say enough wonderful things about our stay at Adagio! It was the perfect getaway for my husband and I and our two littles. The house is private and secluded, you truly feel like you're in the middle of the country, yet, restaurants and stores are so close and so convenient! Sally and Tim were fabulous hosts, extremely responsive and so kind. The house itself was the perfect setup for two adults and two kids. The bedrooms are set back from the main living area and kitchen so my husband and I could easily stay up and talk while the kids slept. Overall, I cannot recommend this beautiful cottage enough!

Awesome!

The home was perfect…….very clean, decorated so thoughtfully, supplied with all of the essentials, very comfy bed and nice linens, close to downtown Franklin but yet secluded, spacious plus much more. We enjoyed hiking the trails that are on property and petting the donkeys 😊 The check-in was a breeze and the communication from Sally was awesome. Highly recommend!!

Peaceful retreat with stellar hosts.

Adagio is a beautifully decorated home on a quiet, wooded property. Everything about it felt homey and comfortable, and it was clear that our hosts went out of their way to make sure we had everything we would need for our stay. The home feels remote, but there's a grocery and some great restaurants less than 10 minutes drive away. Sally and Tim were gracious hosts and made us feel like part of the family. We'll be back!

Visit to Franklin

We absolutely loved the place and the area would be an area I would move to in a heartbeat unfortunately, the weather didn’t allow us to go play with the donkeys along with some other unfortunate events that had nothing to do with our stay the owners were great and available to us when we needed them. The house was a great place to be and relax. We can’t wait to come back!

Relaxing Stay in the Country

My wife and I loved our peaceful getaway. The location is perfect being a very close drive to both Leipers Fork and downtown Franklin. The home is very comfortable and well appointed. The bird watching on the front porch this time of year (April) is amazing! We'll definitely be back!

Country Heaven and more!

My wife and I were so grateful to find this slice of heaven as a home base to stay while we explored the area with the intent to relocate there. The only negative was it was so wonderful we didn't want to leave! On a practical note it was perfectly clean, comfortable beds, nicely furnished to feel like home, more than adequately stocked with modern and high quality kitchen ware. Perhaps the only appliance they might consider would be a toaster oven for convenience but they did provide a toaster and of course you could just use the oven anyway. The setting was the best part for me; anyone's idea of an idyllic country paradise with private woods to stroll through right from the backyard adorable farm animals to visit with and a cozy front porch that looks out onto a bucolic country meadow. They live in a property next door and back ways but you don't see or hear neighbors from any spot on the property they are very generously spaced out there. But only a short drive to nearby shopping and eateries. Sally was easy at all times to reach via messages and super nice as was her husband. Doesn't get any better than this!

Serene and Peaceful

Serene and Peaceful A calm, relaxing stay, away from the hustle and bustle of the city but only about a half hour away from Nashville. We were close to Franklin and Leiper’s Fork, both must see destinations. The property was beautifully updated and tastefully decorated. The beds were very comfortable, as that is one of the things I always hope for, a good night’s sleep away from home. Sally was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. We had a ball meeting the friendly donkeys and feeding them. She provided a book with lots of ideas and suggestions for everything you might need to explore and do. My husband and I have been traveling via VRBO for many years, and I have to say, this is without a doubt my favorite place we have stayed. I highly recommend saying here if you want a beautiful, peaceful and relaxing place to stay.

Franklin & Pilgrimage Festival

The cottage was a perfect tether for our long weekend of tours, festival-going, and general sight-seeing. It had all the comforts of home plus a serene wooded setting. We’ve stayed here before and would highly recommend it to others.

We would stay here a million times!! And probably will! Being separated from each other, working in two different areas for the time being, we have found the perfect place to reconnect. Inviting, comfortable, are just two words I’d use to describe their home and the area!!

Exceptional Property!

We have stayed in many VRBO’s but not one that compares to Sally’s. The home is well appointed with everything you need, comfortable beds and furnishings and a perfect location within minutes of downtown Franklin. Sally is very easy to communicate with and very responsive. We highly recommend this home and plan to return!

Franklin Gem

This wooded cottage property was so perfect for our stay. Just outside the hustle and bustle of city life nestled in a serene pocket of the country side in Franklin, TN. The cottage is beautiful - property owner's have done a fantastic job of keeping the cottage up to date, complete with artwork, craft and fair from local vendors. Tastefully furnished and decorated, as well as very comfortable. Attention to going above and beyond with the little extra's not normally found in a rental property - spices for cooking found in the kitchen, enough TP to last more than one day, soaps in the bathroom - and not just the cheapest option available. The care and thoughtfulness shines through! LOVED the covered back deck - loved finishing my morning workout there, then returning to sit for a brief moment with my coffee to enjoy the birds chirping and frequent sighting of deer. Very close proximity to groceries, boutique shopping, dining and after dinner sweets! We have stayed at a fair share of rental properties and this one is by far my favorite and will be remembered for some time. Would HIGHLY recommend this property if planning a visit to the Franklin, TN area.

Nashville Trip

Sally was a wonderful host. She takes impeccable care of her property. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this beautiful home!!! We had fun cooking in her well equipped kitchen and using the BBQ grill as we relaxed with wine, cheese and crackers on the back patio. The best entertainment was watching the squirrel eating from the bird feeder as we used the swing on the front porch. A much needed peaceful and relaxing trip.
