Great place for a large group of friends

11 of us stayed here for a girls weekend away and had a wonderful time. Communication from the host was great, the house was spotless and everything was just so comfortable. Hot tub was spotless, there were a ton of different places to relax, and we loved the projector screen. Would absolutely recommend.

Great Stay

George was super responsive and helpful the entire trip! The property was beautiful and super cool. Lots of different spaces to hang out. The kitchen was very well equipped! The beds were all very comfy.

Thanksgiving vacation

We had a great time at this place. It is close to Asheville but tucked away for a privacy. My granddaughters loved the friendly horses and turkeys next door that came out to visit when we were outside. The house was a perfect size for our family and everything we needed was provided. The kitchen was well equipped which was a huge plus cooking dinners. You will not be disappointed renting this home.

Our family enjoyed our stay. The house is located in a very nice quiet area and short drive to Asheville. Our host was great making sure we have everything we needed. The house has many outdoor areas to hangout.

Asheville Getaway Close to Everything!

Overall nice property with convenient location to all local area attractions. Extra bonus of projector/screen for a cozy movie night at home. Need a connector for your computer or smart phone, no worries, all are there for you! For those with grown children with grandchildren like us, a lower level kitchen, den, bedrooms, etc. for one family and the upper main for all others!! Owner really wants you to have a great stay and it shows in the house, the amenities, and the overall booking/hosting process. Hot tub was great!

Great place! Very spacious!

The house had everything we needed from cookware to entertainment. The field was awesome for some yard games and the projector made college game day great! There was plenty of space for all of us and the beds and couches were all comfortable.

Great Asheville Getaway!

We had the best time at George's house. From booking onward, George was extremely communicative and helpful with everything from the check-in/check-out process, to recommendations of things to do locally. The house looks nice from the pictures, but honestly, the pictures don't even do it justice. It is a gorgeous property with everything you could possibly need for the weekend! It is also conveniently located to Downtown Ashville, lots of hiking, and the Black Mountain area! We had a great time and will certainly be back!!

Great house for any group

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is spacious and well appointed. George is a very responsive and helpful host. In addition to providing linens, soap, garbage bags, spices, etc., George was in touch leading up to our trip with suggestions for local restaurants, breweries, and things to do. The home is lovely -- so much natural light, large beautiful deck with a fire table, and a huge yard perfect for outdoor play with kids. The home was *spotless* upon arrival. It's an easy trip to Dupont State Park for hiking, Hendersonville, gem mining at Elijah Mountain, and Asheville. There's even a walkable brewery. Would highly recommend this property!

Best Mountain Vacation

This is a wonderful property 15 minutes from Asheville and Hendersonville. It is located next to properties with horses, and on land that has a creek running through it, into a bamboo forest. We spent a lot of time on property with the children exploring the creek and the local area. The kids had a blast, and the location was perfect for exploring Asheville. There are two kitchens essentially, which let us get the kids food without waking up the grandparents. The house was extremely well furnished, and the kitchens were well stocked. The owner even headed to the home early for us to make sure the heat was on after a power outage caused by a significant snow storm - the owners were in communication regularly, helped us check in early, and offered advice on the area. This was the first trip Ive been on where no one cared about the internet for at least the first 48h. Id recommend this property to anyone.

Beautiful Quiet Asheville House

Beautiful property with a lot of natural sunlight in the morning. Area was quiet and was a great place to relax and hang out after touring Asheville. We would definitely stay here again.

Great home minutes from Asheville!

This home was perfect for our group! Plenty of separate bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate everyone and very clean. Extra amenities like the projector screen and hot tub were the perfect add-ons for our mountain weekend and George was super helpful with any questions we had. We also liked that it was private but still easy to get to downtown Asheville and Chimney Rock. Would recommend!!

Beautiful home

This house was perfect for my extended family. Large enough for everyone to have their own space, and large enough to gather together. It is clean and bright and very comfortable. The hot tub and the large projector/screen were added bonuses.

Great experience!

Great property for a group. Plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces to hang together or spread out for a bit. House is very well-equipped with lots of extras. George is the most helpful and gracious host I’ve ever had. He checked on us to make sure we had what we needed and to share recommendations on area dining/stores. We would highly recommend this property.

Spacious house on a spacious property in the beautiful hills near Asheville

Title says it all. Was perfect for us as a group of 30-somethings that like to cook / grill some big meals, watch football on the projector and play disc golf / yard games in the beautiful yard out front. If you want a place with space, indoors and outside, this is it. And it's close enough to Asheville, breweries and disc golf courses that driving was no problem. 20 minutes max to wherever we wanted to go. Owner communicated well, was friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Gave us some good recommendations of smaller markets / breweries in the Fairview area too that we really liked. Even a great little brewery within walking distance from house!

Great time on a secluded land

There was 6 adult males who stayed at the property. We had ample space and truly enjoyed our time. It was close enough to Asheville and Brevard and other major attractions but still felt secluded and peaceful. The only gripe we could muster amongst all of us was the lack of water pressure. However, the water tasted so clean and fresh compared to our different city waters. In the end I would highly recommend staying here. Great property, great host and thoroughly enjoyed the location.

Good for families

Fairview was a good location for us--convenient to the roads leading north to the Blueridge Pkwy and the adventure companies in Marshall. The property was quiet, but not overly secluded. The interior of the house was light and airy on the top floor, but a bit dark on the bottom floor. Kitchen was well equipped. The exterior of the house needs some maintenance but this is primarily cosmetic.

Great location and spacious home

Lovely house with lots of light, fantastic hot tub, upstairs luxury, downstairs has plenty of space. Beds very comfortable, well-stocked kitchen w supplies. Everything was great & we would def stay again! George was a great host and checked in to make sure all was good. He also had plenty of local ideas!

We stayed here with combined families and it was perfect. The place is beautiful inside and very clean with many amenities! George was very attentive and helpful with anything we needed. I highly recommend this house for visiting anything in the Asheville area.

Amazing stay!!

I spent almost 3 weeks at this property and didn’t want to leave. The property and grounds were amazing. The property is on 4 acres and the views from the deck were so calming and relaxing. Plus there was a deer that came to visit frequently - - don’t see that in Miami! I can’t say enough about the attentiveness of the owner, though. He responded to any needs almost immediately and always more than happy to help and make us comfortable - this added to the enjoyment of our stay immeasurably. Finally, the 12’ screen and projector was super cool and I am now looking for one for my home!

We fell in love with this amazing home over 20 years ago. It's a rare property with 4 flat, beautiful, private acres that have been landscaped to create a very unique feeling of being in a park. A running creek and bamboo forest at the end make it complete.

10 years ago, we remodeled it completely and added 2 walls of windows while making the home much more modern and luxurious.

The most unique thing about this home is the feeling you get standing there looking out the 2 walls of windows. It feels like you're in a tree-house in a beautiful forest, yet you're inside surrounded by an abundance of natural light and comfort.
