Tenemos dos cabañas pintorescas y acogedoras que cada uno duerme cómodamente cuatro. Estarán disponibles el 1 de mayo de 2018 y un tercero se agregará el 1 de julio de 2018.
Cada cabina ha sido renovada por dentro y por fuera con baños nuevos de pino nudoso y electrodomésticos renovados.
Los calentadores recién instalados quitarán fácilmente el frío de las mañanas frescas mientras despierta con el suave susurro de las hojas, las olas que bañan la costa y el clamor de los bribones. Big Saint Germain Lake es uno de los principales lagos de pesca en el norte de Wisconsin. Puede encontrar los detalles del lago en el sitio web de DNR de Wisconsin.
Aunque no tenemos un barco privado, el barco público está a solo 1/5 de milla al oeste de nosotros.

This cabin is perfect for travelers looking for a classic “cabin up north” experience. Beautiful lake view, quiet, and the host is super friendly and responds quickly. There are restaurants nearby and a full service grocery store is only 10 minutes away.

We liked EVERYTHING about the cottage. It was just as we pictured it would be. We saw an eagle. A mother deer paraded her fawn in front of our porch window. Larry was a gracious host. T'was a very positive experience.

Great time!

Our cabin was very clean and cozy! The pier and small beach area made it very easy for us to launch our kayaks and explore the lake. The host was very helpful and approachable! We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

With there only being three cabins, it's very nice and quiet staying here. The owner has a quiet time of after 10 pm. to also help. Overall a very nice place.

Relaxing Getaway

We so enjoyed our visit. It was the perfect way to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The lake was beautiful and the local bike trail is one of our favorites. The cabin was clean, quaint, and quiet. We loved the fire pit and the star gazing was incredible. Larry was the perfect host! We hope to return. Thank you!

Excellent Lakeside Stay

Our family had a wonderful time here. Cabin was clean, cozy, and well equipped. Enjoyed the fire pit and grill. We did not fish but enjoyed relaxing on the dock. Larry was one of the best hosts we've ever had. He made sure we had everything we needed and was very easy to communicate with. I wish we had the time to stay longer. Would love to come back. Thank you :)

Cabin was exactly as pictured.Liked the cozy retro look especially the metal cabinets, sink and table & chairs..Had all the basics without the frilly nick knacks sitting around. We stayed for a week and storage in kitchen was limited because of small counter space. Stored a lot of things above fridge. Location is very good, 6 miles to Sayner and St. Germain.No WIFI but was able to rent a Hot Spot from the very friendly staff at Plum Lake library in Sayner. Would definitely rent from Larry again. Could use more

Charming!

Perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 teens. Larry was a great host. Our rental was clean and charming. Well appointed with the basics and no clutter. The lake view is beautiful and well worth getting up early to go to the end of the dock to see the sunrise and all the eagles! We enjoyed meeting the other guests around the camp fire. The location offers the perfect combo of peaceful privacy that’s just a less than 10 minute drive to town.

Two words: swimmers itch.Google it.We found out about it a day before we left. I wish that the owners would have disclosed this prior to us booking the cabin. Imagine a great swimming lake but you risk the itch. We went up there with my two daughters,one of whom is a special needs child.This kind of information should be a compulsory requirement of disclosure when renting out properties.The cabin was ok, not the cleanest we stayed in. The bathroom door would not open all the way and it would get stuck half way, extremely annoying.We always cook our own meals when on vacations. This was the first time where the stove's burners were of the same power. Forget about simmering something or just warming something up. Everything would always burn even on the lowest setting.Rear stairs are very short and steep and not suited to someone with limited mobility.Location is amazing but everything else put a quiet a bit of a damper on it.I believe that whenever you are renting out a property you should try and live there for a week and see what works and what doesn't.

Jarek, We're sorry you were not pleased with your accommodations. We did discuss the possibility of swimmers itch before your arrival. I did explain that anyone swimming should shower or 'hose off' after swimming. I also provided an article on swimmer's itch in the property information booklet which I reviewed with you upon arrival. Did anyone in your family actually contract swimmer's itch? The bathroom door does open and close completely. It drags slightly on the floor but not enough to keep it from opening and closing. Thank you for calling that to our attention. The burners on the stove do adjust completely, high to low. If you had a problem with them I would have been happy to explain the proper operation. However, you never asked me abut adjusting them. I explained that the rear stairs are really more of an emergency exit and that it's best to use the front entrance which is ground level and does not pose a mobility problem. You did not inform me that anyone in your family had mobility issues. If you had, I would have recommended one of our other cabins. The back stairs can be modified and we will take that into consideration for next year's visitors. We rely on feedback from our guests to make improvements to the property and we take those comments to heart. When possible we can correct problems during a guest's stay. Thank you for calling these deficiencies to our attention.

Came here to fish. Great small rustic cabin with lakefront, shared dock, on a good fishing lake in the middle of many other good lakes in the area. Property was as described, had everything needed and host responded quickly to questions and requests. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Cabin on the Lake

A beautiful time at the cabin! Clean, quaint, and great location. Close to hiking trails (Fallison Lake was gorgeous), Heart of the Vilas bike trail, restaurants, and grocery store. Larry was helpful, kind, and generous. An all around great trip. This cozy cabin was a big part in making it so.

Peaceful and cozy cabin

Really enjoyed our week stay here. They have beautiful views of the lake and sunsets. We loved being on Big St. The fishing was fun even though we were unsuccessful in bringing home a wall hanger. Larry was a great host. Thank you for allowing us to share your little piece of Heaven! Was a great location for our honeymoon.

Great Up North Cabin

Had a great stay at Larry’s cabin. The cabin was clean and welcoming. We weren’t there much as we spent our days in Minocqua for a hockey camp. The cabin was exactly what you’d expect for an Up North Cabin. The views were amazing! My only disappointment was the lake- I was hoping to swim after hockey practice. But Larry was honest and informed us the lake has a problem with swimmers itch. He told us how to take care of it, but I didn’t want to risk it. Hopefully that’s only an issue this season. There were lots of boats out for fishing so I’m assuming the fish were biting if you are looking for a fishing cabin. Overall a very nice place to stay. Larry was easy to connect with and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend for a fishing group or a quiet getaway!

Great views and that amazing lakeside life.

We had a great time, place was very clean & the host was friendly. I enjoyed waking up the the lake front views everyday. Also on another note this would be a great option for renting out two cabins for family. You can get space but also be right next to each other for the same price as a big rental in the area. Overall was a pleasant experience. We as a family would stay again.

I am originally from Appleton but spent the last several years living in Minneapolis and Seattle.
After retiring from the Yamaha Corporation of America in 2017 I was fortunate to purchase this property on one of the most popular lakes in the area.
As someone with ancestral connections to this area since 1900 it is now my pleasure to share some of my love for this area with others.

Chamberlain’s Eagle View Resort is nestled in a grove of oak trees on the north shore of Big Saint Germain Lake just 2/10 of a mile east of the public boat landing. This makes for easy travel for your boat to our 100’ dock in smooth waters teaming with bluegill, walleye and musky – the King of Fish!
Our property is home to families of deer and is in the glide path of soaring eagles. We have remodeled the bathrooms in all the cabins and updated the plumbing to also include new fixtures and water heaters. All available cabins have been repainted, refurnished, repaired and appliances replaced.

From Minocqua:
Take Hwy 51 north 3.5 miles to Hwy 70 east. Turn right on Hwy 70 and proceed east for 7.5 miles to Cty Rd C.
Turn left on Cty Rd C and proceed north for 2 miles to Big St Germain Drive.
Turn right on Big St Germain Drive and proceed east 2 miles to Chamberlain's Eagle View Resort.
(Do not turn left on 16 Road.)
We are on the right hand or south side of the road.

From Rhinelander:
Take Hwy 17 north from Rhinelander and proceed 18.5 miles to Hwy 70 west.
Turn left on Hwy 70 and proceed 10.8 miles west through St Germain until you reach the intersection of Hwy 70 and Hwy 155 by Camp's Sentry Foods. Continue north on Hwy 155 for 2.3 miles to Big St Germain Drive.
Turn left and proceed 1 mile west to Chamberlain's Eagle View Resort. We are on the left hand or south side of Big St Germain Drive.
