La ubicación es ideal para cualquier destino a pie: el Duomo , la Piazza San Babila , Brera , Corso Buenos Aires , el distrito de moda de Via Montenapoleone , el Tribunal de Milán. También hay un hermoso parque y jardines de Porta Venezia Villa Comunale a solo 3 minutos a pie desde el apartamento .
Viale Piave es una calle de clase alta , con muchas tiendas , showrooms architettuta Interior , restaurantes y supermercados , Dolce & Gabbana Metropol , donde los desfiles tienen lugar , muy animado pero absolutamente seguro y tranquilo por la noche .

Wonderful Week in Milano

We spent an excellent week in Milano, primarily because of Giancarlo's comfortable, clean and centrally located apartment. The apartment is 'as advertised'. All modern furnishings in an historic quiet building. Despite the hustle and bustle of the city, you wouldn't know you're in the city until you leave the courtyard. Giancarlo went out of his way to be sure everything was as we wanted/expected. Nearby were a variety of restaurants, cafes and stores. Giancarlo provided us with suggestions of what we may like to do and see when he provided us with maps and brochures. We'll definitely look for Giancarlo, if we return to Milan and recommend him and his apartment for any couple looking for a comfortable place to stay when in Milano.

Great Apartment!

This apartment was in a great location and was just a short walk to the main sites. the apartment was stocked with everything you would need and was clean and neat. Giancarlo was so great! He was very personable, helpful and detailed with information about the apartment and the city. He was a pleasure to rent from, made the process so easy, and checked on us to make sure we are enjoying the apartment and had no problems. Grazie!

Central quiet location with helpful landlord

The good points about this holiday apartment were (1) its central location, just 15 mins walk from Piazza Duomo, (2) a landlord, Giancarlo, who communicated promptly and helpfully with advice and provided "taxi" connection to the central station; and (3) the quiet, inner courtyard location. Mosquitoes were a minor annoyance and the sofa would benefit from recovering.

Perfect location in Milan

GianCarlo is terrific. He is an extremely gracious and helpful host, helping with directions, informing us as to the neighborhood, good places to eat etc. The apartment is quiet and very well located to walk pretty much anywhere. Only issue was that the furnishings were a bit “tired” and sitting area was small. Because Milan is an interesting and exciting city, it was a minor issue, just stating the single reason we gave four stars instead of five...

Perfect location; generous host; highly recommended

I stayed 4 nights and enjoyed myself a great deal. The host picked me up downtown and drove me to the apartment; he explained all the details, used a map to show me restaurants & patisseries, and recommended places to visit in downtown Milan. I walked everywhere though the streetcar and Metro are close; I felt very safe at night . . . there were many people at local restaurants and bars. There are three locked doors to gain access to the apartment; it was very safe. And, it was quiet; the apartment overlooks a beautiful courtyard filled with plants, trees and some flowers. The property manager drove me to the airport on the morning of my flight - a huge help so that I didn’t have to deal with the metro and train. THANKS AGAIN!. I hope to visit Milan again one day and will definitely stay here again..

Great location and host!

Located on the first floor ( there is an elevator if necessary) and facing the inner courtyard this apartment was easy to access and quiet for sleeping. Host Giancarlo lives in the same building and he was very accessible for check-in/check-out and any questions we had. He provided recommendations for pasticerrias for our breakfast and restaurants for dinner. Easy walk to the Duomo, tram right out front that takes you to the train station in one direction and in the other direction to the Navigli area for walking along the canal and many dining choices. Also close to Metro (3 blocks) and buses (at the corner). Grocery store within 5 minutes walking. This was a great find and we'd stay here again!

Giancarlo was a wonderful host. He gave us detailed driving instructions to his place, carried our bags up the stairs for us and recommended 2 great restaurants for dinner. His apt was clean, comfortable beds and had all the amenities needed for an enjoyable stay. We would recommend This Homeaway apt.

Great Place to Stay in Milano

Loved our stay at Giancarlo’s apartment. It is very clean and in a nice residential neighborhood. After long days of sightseeing, it was great to come back and relax and get a great nice sleep on the comfortable bed. The apartment faces a courtyard so it is very quiet. WiFi works great. The bathroom has been remodeled and is updated. The shower is quite small by US standards, but we never ran out of hot water. There are several cafes nearby to have an Italian breakfast plus others for dinner. Two markets are close. The tram that goes to the Naviglio district is just in front of the apartment. Get your tickets at the tabacchino just up the street. Host Giancarlo is the best. He waa very responsive to communications before and during our stay. He picked us up from the airport and dropped us off at Milano Centrale for reasonable amounts and was right on time. Highly recommend staying here!

Nice location

The apartment is located right on tram line #9; which makes it very convenient getting to Milan's Central train station; this same tram line will also take you to the canal area which is a very trendy area for the locals. The Milan Duomo is a short 10 minute walk or less to the core center of the city.

Good location

Giancarlo’s apartment is in a great location. Giancarlo was super helpful and picked us up from the train station and dropped us off at the airport upon our departure. Grazie mille Giancarlo! The apartment is simple and the bathroom is the typical small Italian bathroom, but it had everything we needed and was sufficient for our visit. The AC works really well. You can’t beat the location- just about 5-10 min walk to the Duomo. We had a nice visit to Milan.

Mailand eine Entdeckung für uns

Die Tage in Mailand waren wirklich wunderschön, das Appartement ( sehr gepflegt), liegt sehr günstig, das Zentrum ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen, die Straßenbahn hält fast vor der Türe und fährt zum Bahnhof und auch sonst an sehr viele Orte in Mailand! Die Cafés, auch eine Pizzeria, gute Tipps von Giancarlo, sind sehr lecker und bezahlbar! Die Mailänder sind sehr freundlich, wir kommen bald wieder! Monika und Norbert

Magic in Milan

Magic because of location (core of the city), convenience (major sites are a short walk away), and quality (clean, comfortable, well-equipped). The owner, Giancarlo, was always available when we needed him, but not hovering over us when when not needed. He answered our requests and questions immediately. Thanks to Giancarlo and his beautiful apartment, our first stay in Milan was everything we could have hoped for in a vacation. Magic indeed. Molto lontana dalla descrizione internet. Non è al centro di Milano

La foto del portone induce a pensare ad un posto di grande classe, in realtà è un modesto appartamentino su un vecchio cortile interno, con micro bagno, cucina, e un divanetto a due posti con frigorifero, spazzatura e angolo cottura tutto insieme. Presenza di una pensione a 2 stelle con via vai di clienti e fazzoletti di carta usati sul pavimento dell'androne. Punti dolenti sono una porta di comunicazione con l'appartamento occupato dal proprietario che lascia passare qualsiasi suono o voce, e per una coppia è chiaramente fastidioso e un enorme specchio proprio sopra l'unico letto della casa,ci si chiede perché sia in quella posizione. Inquietante. tutto molto modesto e completamente inappropriato il prezzo richiesto. Ci siamo stati il minimo possibile, e ce ne siamo andati al più presto. Se lo conosci lo eviti.

Fabulous apartment, Great Host

Giancarlo's place is cute, very comfortable, cosy and sparkling clean. The location is prime and it's easy to commute. The tram station and the bus stop are right at the next traffic light. And the metro station is 6 minutes walk. The walk to the metro station has some cute cafes where you can always stop for a quick coffee :) It's a safe neighbourhood and you can walk around alone even past midnight. Grocery store, open until midnight,is only 1 minute walking. Giancarlo is always prompt with his responses. Even after checking in, he was always available on text and in person for any help I needed regarding the places to see, where to eat or how to travel to destinations. Giancarlo is indeed a SUPER host! Check-in and check-out was super smooth. No hassles at all. He picked me up and dropped me to the airport and gave me some amazing recommendations and advice for my stay in Milan, which proved to be incredibly helpful. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay at his place next visit as well.

Giancarlo is an exceptionally hospitable, friendly and very helpful host. Fluent in English. Provides, if necessary, for a reasonable price, transportation to any place and time of day. We , a couple of active pensioners, felt very comfortable in this apartment, which gave us exсellent conditions for rest after an intensely spent day. We received particular satisfaction from the interaction with the owner of the apartment, Giancarlo, to whom we express our sincere and deep gratitude. We certainly recommend this apartment.

Easy Walking Apartment

Giancarlo picked us up at the airport so we didn't have to bother with a taxi. The apartment is very centrally located and within easy walking distance to all or most of the sights in Milan. Giancarlo also recommended several restaurants that we tried and loved them. Especially Pizza OK!. Good and quiet location.

Cuando decidí alquilar este apartamento, tenía un deseo muy específico. Ofrecer un lugar confortable, con todas las comodidades modernas, muy bonito y nuevo.
