Starry Starry Night Cottage

Propiedad frente al mar ubicada en West Prong of Frio River, a solo 9 millas al norte de Leakey, Texas, junto a CR 336. House ha instalado recientemente el sistema de climatización con aire y calefacción centrales a partir de septiembre de 2018, cocina completamente equipada para todas sus necesidades de cocina en interiores y exteriores, barbacoa, fuego, WI-FI, teléfono residencial, lavadora / secadora, cafetera y extracción sofá cama. Mucho espacio de estacionamiento para llevar su remolque UTV / carrito de golf / motocicleta para explorar. El área tiene mucho que ofrecer en términos de alejarse de todo. Disfrute de caminatas, andar en bicicleta, pescar, ir de compras, pasar el rato en el río o no hacer nada mientras disfruta del tranquilo entorno campestre. El parque estatal Garner, el parque estatal Lost Maples, las bodegas y los recorridos diarios en tubos por el río se encuentran cerca, a poca distancia en automóvil. Leakey está a unos 15 minutos en coche de la ciudad con algunas opciones de tiendas y restaurantes. River se encuentra directamente en frente de la propiedad. Hay una vista parcial del río Frio desde el patio delantero de la casa y está a un minuto a pie del agua. Definitivamente puedes escuchar el agua que fluye desde la casa y el nivel del agua es perfecto para niños pequeños. ¡Gracias por considerar nuestra casa para su escapada! Peaceful and Relaxing Stay!

My 3 teens and I had a wonderful and memorable stay. We enjoyed all the comforts of home with easy access to the river. It was extremely easy to find and the host went above and beyond to make sure we had all the information we needed to arrive safely. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Great spot nestled by the Frio

Clean and well furnished. Kitchen had everything needed and was thoughtfully stocked with all utensils/tools. Used the smoker to make dinner the second night. Quick 30-45 second walk from the front door to the Frio River. Our boys had a blast fishing all day and spending time at Garner State Park.

Family Vacation

This was our first vacation here, but won't be our last! The cabins were clean and nice! We loved the flowing stream that was close to the cabin! The owner was kind and communicated well. The view from the cabin was awesome!

Perfect little spot

We greatly enjoyed our time at Starry Starry Night. We loved the proximity to the river and quietness of the location. We especially appreciated how well "stocked" the house was with kitchen items, etc. Danny was incredibly easy to work with and we would definitely stay again!

Love the Cabin

I don't want to let this place to become too well known because it is a wonderful, quiet, place to unwind and want access to it as often as possible, lol. Seriously, the owner was great to deal with, and the cabin is everything we expected.

Great cabin by the Frio river

We rented this cabin because of its location between Garner State Park and Lost Maples. Everything was very convenient and my 2 year old granddaughter loved walking to the Frio river that was just down the road from the cabin. We also enjoyed sitting outside at night and looking at the stars. It was so relaxing and such a great getaway from the city.

Fabulous vacation and location! We will be back again next year!

Very clean property. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. Danny was so helpful with directions and also the local attractions, things to do and places to visit. I give it 5 stars +. We'll be back again!

Slice of Heaven

Second time to stay in this area. We enjoyed this cabin. Lots of shade outside. Comfortable and cozy inside. We enjoy this location. Its quiet and relaxing and much more private than most other river properties. The owner is an excellent host and very responsive to communications. Highly recommend.

This is the cabin you want

The cabin is beautifully decorated and so cozy. There were so many amenities so you don’t miss anything. Very relaxing. Daniel is a wonderful manager and was so easy to communicate with. The entire process was so easy.

Last summer getaway

It was a great last summer getaway for my 3 boys! The river access is very shallow near the house, but if you drive a mile down the road there is a spot up to 5’5 deep! You can jump and swim! Everything was comfortable and they had more amenities we needed!

Long lazy weekend

Very nice cottage, comfortable king sized bed, nice linens and towels. Kitchen was fully equipped. All was clean and ready for our arrival. Driveway(s) were a little rough from erosion but my car did fine getting up and down from the road. Walk to the river was easy

Really cute cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at this home. It wasn’t far from a little area of the river. I wished we would have gone up farther to the deeper areas but we didn’t noticed until the last day there you actually could park past a certain place. But overall I would recommend this cabin and hope to stay there sometime again!

Near Perfect!

Our family of 5, including 3 kids 5 and younger, enjoyed the quiet, peaceful location with a access to a great spot on the West Fork of the Frio. The river access was perfect for our kids. We appreciated the management and the drive to Leakey, Garner, and Concan were not bad at all. We would certainly consider the property again.

Cute house & calm river(Creek)

Our stay was really calm, perfect place to enjoy with small kids because the river is really shallow with clear water. It just need a better cleared river entrance because all the other where marked with big signs of Not Trespassing or Private property. We had to walk a short distance between river rocks and plants to access the creek. But everything else was awesome 🙌❤️

Mini Spring Break Getaway

My family and I wanted to get away from the Covid-19 pandemic crisis news frenzie. We didn’t want to risk getting on a plane. So we decided to take a trip to Garner State Park. Best decision the cottage is relaxing, secluded and the feeling of family. The river is perfect for small kiddos. The owners were amazing throughout the whole rental process. Never felt like I was a stranger. I would highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice quiet getaway.

Fun in the Frio

We were in town for a whole week and had a great time. Cottage was easy to get to, made it easy to travel into town and surrounding towns to hike, eat and shop. We had everything we needed to cook and stay entertained. We were slightly worried about river access based on other reviews, but it was a quick walk down the driveway and right into the water at the first crossing. It flowed all week, was nice and cool, lots of fish, and everyone we ran into was super nice. Danny was kind and easy to communicate with. We hope to be back next summer.
