Located in the town of Los Osos (10 minutes from San Luis Obispo), and at the foot of Montana De Oro state park, "Kiss the Sea Ranch" is a lovely home with lots of windows and outside areas to enjoy the views from every angle. The Owner has spent an extraordinary amount of time to make this large home the perfect retreat for families, couples, or small groups. This very special property is adjacent to the stunningly beautiful Montana de Oro State Park. Close to wildlife you do need to be aware of your surroundings. You may walk down the road toward the beach to the sand dunes or you may drive the small distance as well. There are many brilliant trails for hiking or biking. Owner has sleds for the sand dunes, towels and beach toys. This location is a true paradise for outdoor aficionados or you can stay inside and relax by the fireplace and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
The location is just South of Morro Bay, Cayucos, Cambria, Hearst Castle, Elephant Seals and Big Sur. We are only 20 minutes to downtown San Luis Obispo known for its great Thursday night Farmer's Market, shopping, restaurants and entertainment.

Occupied Granny Unit on premises. The unit is below the back bedrooms. Tenant is rarely home.

The manager is very responsive. We were without hot water the first day, because the tankless heater was disconnected from power. But the manager corrected the issue within hours. We had a great stay, hosting meals with 12 people, and exploring the many nearby attractions.

It was a beautiful area, great home with comfortable beds. Awesome dining table for family meals and card games! The dune sledding was a bit tough, but the kids had a blast at the water and along the trail.

Family fun!

We are often in Los Osos as our son and family live there. This home was perfect for a family gathering to celebrate a birthday and for relaxation between performances of a musical that our granddaughter was in.The home is beautiful and has all the amenities needed. The views are spectacular and the ping pong table was a great hit.We look forward to another stay!

Just amazing

This place is spectacular. It is large and spacious. Great views of the ocean from the common spaces in one of the bedrooms. The kitchen is one of the best equipped rentals we’ve ever used. Really close to some amazing hikes. We’re trying to figure out how to make this a yearly visit to this area and to this property.

Beautiful home with a view

I rented this beautiful home overlooking the pacific coast with 5 girlfriends. We brought a king sized air bed & had plenty of room to set it up. The house was spacious and accommodating. The kitchen was well equipped . Lots of places to roam, hike & explore. One small suggestion is to provide shampoo, conditioner & body wash in both bathrooms.

A heaven away from the LA fires

After learning that our kids’s school, as well as a big part of our community had fallen to the fires, our family was in need of hope and fresh air. We were so happy to come to this, a space where my husband and I could work while the kids ran amidst nature and fresh air. We absolutely loved our stay and time spent in this community. Wonderful Los Osos home

The house was beautiful and perfect for family of two grandparents, two parents, kids 4 and 8. Fantastic views in a wild place. It was well-stocked with all we needed. The location was convenient to beaches, the town and the state park up the road. We highly recommend this home.

Great stay!

I spend a few days at this property with my sisters and other family in June to celebrate my sister's birthday. The property was lovely, very clean, with fabulous views, and very much as advertised. The check-in was simple and well-explained and the host was great. We had a problem with the power on one day - related to the power company, not the property - and Cindy was very responsive, to our requests for information. I would definitely recommend this property.

House was beautiful with a well furnished kitchen for our family cooked meals. View was exceptional we could see humpback whales in the ocean breaching!! Hiked out to the beach every day and mountain biked, hiked, and birded in Montana de Oro. Perfect stay for us.

Amazing accommodations

We spent the Christmas weekend here, and walked to the butterfly preserve (many monarchs), hiked around Morro Rock, did wine tasting in town, and really enjoyed the sites. We also cooked a feast on Christmas Eve, and the kitchen was truly one of the most well appointed kitchens I have experienced.

Perfect place to gather!

We celebrated Thanksgiving….cooked a turkey & all fixings! The kitchen is well appointed & had everything we Needed. Location & views gorgeous. Our grandsons loved the dunes! Our only surprises were that there was no TV for the football games and that there was a tenant living below us!

Owners bought this property for it's fabulous location and a close get- away from their San Luis Obispo home. It is quiet, tranquil and has beautiful sunsets. Added bonus is easy access to the park and beaches.
Plus, a peaceful quiet retreat with outstanding views!
