Casa rústica de 6 habitaciones en más de 4,000 acres del hermoso Lago Tillery, que ofrece diversión durante todo el año. Los muebles antiguos están ubicados en toda la casa, así como los muebles antiguos y modernos. Las habitaciones incluyen dos camas king size, dos camas queen size, una cama matrimonial y cuatro camas individuales. Tres baños completos y una cocina completamente equipada. Toda la ropa de cama y sábanas están incluidas. Capacidad para 14 personas muy cómodamente. La casa del barco del segundo piso, completamente protegida, ofrece mucho espacio para disfrutar del paisaje del lago. Wow!! I wish I could take that kitchen home with me. Plenty of space throughout so the stay included my wife and kids, my brothers wife and kids, mom, dad, and aunt. We never felt over crowded, love having the floating mats for the water. We also got to use the fire pit as well which was perfectly situated.

The home was beautiful, very nice updated kitchen and plenty of bedrooms for our family and ample supply of towels. But they need to have a regular pest control treatment done. Two of my grandsons were bite by spiders, windows were covered with webs as well as the boat dock. The shakey chairs need to be removed before someone gets hurt. Someone else's grocery were in the fridge, we didnt have room for ours.The lake was nice but couldnt enjoy it because of speeding boats and jet skis until midnight. The children were at risk just being in the lake. I expected more of a vacation with the cost we paid for 3 days.

Graduation Stay

Very nice. Perfect for a large group. We didn’t get to spend a lot of lake time at the property as we had several days of graduation activities keeping us busy. Loved the Kitchen!

Family Visit

Property was exactly as described. We loved the place! Debby is a great host and communicator.Fridge was stocked with soft drinks, water, coffee and filters and the spice rack was stocked with everything you need. We loved the fire pit and the beautiful view of the lake! It was very peaceful! During the day we saw bald eagles and osprey looking for fish. In the evening we enjoyed the whipper wills singing in the distance. Highly recommend this property!

Lake Christmas vacation

house was the right size and had beautiflul kitchen and open area for family. Was disappointed 1-that the great record collection and stereo system was of no use because the speakers did not work and 2-that the king bed upstairs was actually just 2 twin beds pushed together, which did not sleep comfortably. Otherwise was a great vacation.

Lovely weekend at the lake!

Brian and Debby were wonderful hosts. They were very responsive to questions and extremely helpful. We chose this home because of the large size, easy boat access and walkable lot. (No stairs to the lake) We loved the kitchen! I didn't expect double ovens, an ice maker with "chewy" ice, a double dishwasher and sub zero fridge! So nice! The kids loved the deep water at the dock, being in a quiet cove (instead of on the main channel), be brought inflatable paddle boards and kayaks. It was easy to launch them from the "underwater non-slip step" at the dock. (even with my arthritic hip lol!) We had a birthday party for 3 year old twins and it was easy to keep them corralled in the large boathouse above the dock. It even had a very large picnic table where we ate dinner. We enjoyed a bonfire every night, the kids had a ping pong tournament and my husband fished every morning right off the dock. (There is no neighbor on one side and it's a great place to fish.) This is a super convenient location and only minutes to Albemarle for groceries, dinner out or any supplies you may have forgot. Thanks Debby and Brian for a wonderful weekend. We will be back!

Family Get Together

The family had a wonderful time staying here. The rooms had very comfortable beds and the bathrooms were spacious enough for all. The boat house was a big hit with everyone … the kids played in the water for hours. While the rest of us fished….catching plenty of fish. The kitchen was well equipped with all you would need. Loved the ice maker. Just sorry we didn’t have time to enjoy the other things the house had to offer. Thanks for letting us use your lake house. Hope to rent again next year

Awesome home for large family

My family had a wonderful time staying here. the new kitchen was awesome, loved the new ice maker,gas stove and gas grill, and double stove. Each of the rooms had very comfortable beds and plenty of room for all the kids and grand kids to play down stairs. the lake and boat house were so fun we spent hours in the water playing and then we had a picnic upstairs in the screened in boat house. It was the best family vacation. thanks Debbie for opening your lakefront property to us. thanks for the sweet snacks and drinks that welcomed us. a 5 star experience

Fun & Comfortable Lakefront Home

Our group of Virginia Tech alum had an amazing time reuniting and catching up at this gorgeous property! The sprawling yard was great for our bocce ball games. We loved the big boat house and sat around the upstairs table chatting every night. The foam mat in the water was a great touch! Finding a lake house with 6+ private bedrooms can be difficult, so we felt lucky to have come across this home that fit all of our couples comfortably. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

No shoes, no shirts, no problems.

This property is perfect for any situation. Whether you have water vessels or not it’s perfect. Lots of living and sleeping space. The kitchen is awesome. This was our fourth time spending our vacation here and we’re already planning for next vacation here. Not just the house but the boat dock is great for the kids to hang out and swim. The water is deep and clean. The boat landing is just up the channel and the main lake body is just down the channel. So accessible if you have a boat or jet skis. This property has the perfect location if you love the lake life. The owner is doing great things with the property to meet the needs of the renters. As for me and my family we will be renting again from Mrs. Millhouse.

We love this place!

This was the fourth year that our family vacationed in this home in June. Perfect place for children who love to swim, fish, and boat. We also enjoyed a hike over at Morrow Mountain. One day the women of the family went to Troy to shop and eat in downtown Troy. Very enjoyable!

Lakeside 710 Experience

Our group arrived at different times from Thursday afternoon through Friday evening. Checkin was as smooth as it can be. Property was awesome in terms of location/lake access. Overall, property suited our needs perfectly. A few details about the property. Kitchen was awesome and open floor plan really facilitated large group conversation and activity. The remainder of the property was really nice but a little dated in terms of decor. Really liked the antique furniture throughout though. Had a few minor issues worth mentioning that should help future renters : couldn't get back door to lock, TV was good but better have your account information for TV services because live TV was limited. TV set up for Roku, apps, etc. Dock and water access was awesome and appeared to be setup for water for wash down and upstairs sink but could not get it to turn on. On final day, house notes direct you to deliver all of your trash to solid waste container site about half mile down the road but it was closed when we were leaving on Sunday. Overall, great experience. And highly recommend River Wild restaurant.

Perfect for our large family

This home is perfect for large groups. The interior layout had an open family/dining/kitchen with a deck facing the lake. There were ample bedrooms with beds for our family of 14. The owners supplied plenty of towels, as well as basic necessities. It was a wonderful week of vacation to end our summer.

Great House!

Perfect for a large group. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The house was well taken care of and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We especially loved the ping pong table and canoe! Can’t wait to go back!
