Nuestro resort de Wisconsin ...

Birch Lake Getaway es un complejo aislado de 12 acres con 4 casas de vacaciones junto al lago (cabañas) todas listadas en Vrbo y convenientemente ubicadas en las colinas del centro de Wisconsin. Tiene un lago de pesca y natación de 3 1/2 acres alimentado por manantiales completo con cuatro playas, plataforma de observación del lago y cabaña de playa.

También hay áreas abiertas donde tenemos nuestra red de voleibol / minton malo, así como nuestra glorieta, otra fogata y mucho espacio para cualquier otra cosa que tenga en mente.

Para grupos más grandes, Birch Lake puede acomodar hasta 44 personas durante la noche para bodas, retiros de empresa, reuniones familiares, viajes a la iglesia y cualquier otro tipo de reunión grande.

Hola amigos:

Somos Sally y Terry. Qué gran bendición fue tropezar con esta hermosa propiedad de 12 acres en 1995. A pesar de que la única conveniencia aquí era una letrina (¡que no incluye plomería ni electricidad!) Nos enamoramos de las colinas y el hermoso lago. Como antiguos habitantes de la ciudad y desertores corporativos que habían tomado la decisión de salir del tráfico y el ruido, nos dirigimos al país sin nada específico en mente, excepto alejarnos de todo.

Comenzar desde cero fue una aventura en la que, durante los siguientes diez años, Birch Lake comenzó a desarrollarse lentamente. Fue muy divertido aprovechar las oportunidades para el simple escape a la naturaleza; Desde la ruta de senderismo en el bosque, la pequeña cascada y la cubierta en el agua. Fue a causa de estas ideas en las que nació Birch Lake. A medida que comenzamos a ofrecer esta experiencia a otros, nos expandimos, agregando una cabina tras otra. Los 4 están listados en Vrbo. Tener cada cabina cuidadosamente diseñada para complementar y adaptarse a los alrededores. Realmente ha sido un placer recibir el regalo de confianza que valoramos profundamente de nuestros huéspedes. Great location and atmosphere. The kitchen was adequate for our needs, and we loved the hot tub every evening. The lawn was cut fresh, the lake was nice, the decking added nostalgia. We really enjoyed ourselves.

We had a lovely time at The Ranch! There was an odor in the cabin when we first arrived but it was taken care of quickly and graciously by the host and his team. We had a great time grilling on the deck and the hot tub was an excellent addition. We will definitely be back again!

The property was great and we had a lovely experience. The hosts were responsive when we had questions.The only note I had was that the cabin wasn't quite as secluded from the other cabins as I was expecting, but that may have been on me and how I perceived the information. Also, the cabin is self serve which would have been nice to know before booking. It wasn't a problem for us, but may be for people traveling long distances or with a large load in their car.Overall though, it was a perfectly relaxing babymoon weekend for us which is exactly what we were wanting.

Cozy Getaway

The cabin was very comfortable for the two of us for the weekend. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening, and the wild life in the morning, drives through country, and shopping in Tomah.

Winter getaway

Our trip was enjoyable and relaxing. The cabin was quant and clean and comfortable. My boyfriend wanted to ice fish in a lake, but this is really a pond. It was not frozen, but we still enjoyed the hot tub and relaxing together. We took a drive into Tomah and went to the cheese shop and antique store. The area of the cabin was pretty and there was a nice trail to walk. The whole area was safe and peaceful!

This cabin was a great getaway for our family.

Older cabin. The lake is not a swimming lake, but our kids had a great time taking the pedal boat out and caught a ton of fish. We also saw huge snapping turtles by our dock. They were neat to watch.

Secluded Nature Stay

The Ranch is located in a quiet and private area and has multiple outdoor seating areas at the house. These felt private and comfortable near the water and with wooded surroundings. For the house, expect "older" components. The bathroom, windows, screen doors, kitchen appliances, and hot tub are older as well as the decor. We had no issues with this but it may be helpful to enter with that expectation. The lake was very covered with algae and not appealing to us to enter. We did take the row boat out once for a quick paddle around the lake. There was an outdoor smell near the fire pit and hot tub that was either due to the proximity to the garbage bins or from an animal in the woods.Overall, our stay at the Ranch was relaxing and we appreciated nature and the closeness to Tomah. My husband found biking around the area and to La Crosse enjoyable and easy to navigate.

Overall it was a good stay. The bed was a bit uncomfortable, a bit too firm for me. The hot tub was very nice, we used it daily during our stay. The fireplace worked very well. A few updates would be nice. Bluetooth speakers for outside would be nice. A few of the outside lights did not work. It would have been nice to have the fire pit in a more private location.

Ranch stay

The property manager was very nice, when we got to the location, we went to the wrong cabin, Terry personally came and told us where we had ended up at the wrong location. When we couldn't figure out the TV, he sent his property maintenence person right away to show us how to work the dish. The facility in general nice but could use some updating, not complaining just an observation.

The location is beautiful! The cabin is a great size and needs more basic amenities. We did contact the host in regards to blood on mattress covers and a comforter.. this was not remedied until the next day. We had to try to use the spare bedding that was clean to still use the sofa sleepers. Other than that, being unsanitary, the rest of the little things we worked with. Need to bring everything from home for your stay (toilet paper, dish soap, scrub brush, towels, hand soap..etc)

Ranch cabin

The cabin is located on a beautiful piece of property in a secluded area. However the cabin decor was outdated and needed a good cleaning. Floors were dirty, inside cabinets were dirty. Blinds and curtains were dusty. Windows needed washing. The glass ware that was provided was a hodgepodge of different pieces . The pillows with the bedding were old and flat. Not comfortable at all. We made the best of our stay and had a great time.

Welcome to Birch Lake Secluded Getaway! We are Sally and Terry. What a great blessing it was to stumble onto this beautiful 12-acre property in 1995. Even though the only convenience here was an outhouse (including no plumbing or electricity!) we fell in love with the rolling hills and beautiful lake. As former city dwellers and corporate dropouts who had made the choice to get out of the traffic and noise, we headed to the country with nothing specific in mind except to just get away from it all.

Starting from scratch was an adventure where over the next ten years, Birch Lake slowly began to develop. It was so much fun to put in the opportunities for the simple escape to nature; Ranging from the hiking trail in the woods, the little waterfall, and the deck out on the water. It was because of these ideas in which Birch Lake came into being. As we began to offer this experience to others we expanded, adding one cabin after another; Having each cabin carefully designed to complement and fit into the surroundings.

It has truly been a pleasure to receive the gift of trust that we deeply value from our guests. The fond memories that our guests create are what make up the ambiance of our Wisconsin vacation rentals.

It is our hope that if you decide to come here that you too will discover the peace and beauty of this gem we call Birch Lake.
