Apartamento contemporáneo de 2 pisos de nueva construcción en un barrio seguro y tranquilo. 5 minutos a pie de la playa, bluff top costero sendero. 10 minutos a pie del centro y el mercado de agricultores.

Diseño moderno y luminoso con calefacción radiante en todo el piso, tragaluces con energía solar, balcón en el segundo piso para magníficas puestas de sol y un pico en el océano. Cocina comedor con asientos de banco integrados rodeados de luz natural y al aire libre. Electrodomésticos de alta gama y artículos de cocina básicos, también incluye microondas, tostadora, prensa francesa, grifo de agua caliente instantáneo para el té. Dormitorio y baño en el primer piso. Sala de estar y segundo dormitorio en el segundo piso. Pasillo privado que conduce a una entrada independiente y amplia cubierta de la 1 ª planta con cómodos asientos incorporados. Muebles recuperados de madera de secoya fabricados a partir de la cubierta que alguna vez estuvo aquí para darle un toque adicional de vida sostenible. Ducha al aire libre para enjuagar después de la playa. El apartamento comparte una pared con la casa principal.

Better than most 5 star hotel suites at a fraction of the cost. In a nice neighborhood, 2 blocks from the beach and close to downtown, it was quiet, clean, had modern appliances, and a very nice shower for 2 (no tub). Would definitely stay again.

Nice unit. Clean and well appointed. Not much to walk to nearby. The beach is a little further way than we expected but there was a nice walking path once you reached the area.

What a charming secret hideaway that is walking distance to the beach and downtown HMB! This place is perfect for a small family or couple to spend a little time in HMB. The host was wonderful and attentive when I emailed her with some questions. This kitchen and unit is light and bright and decorated to bring a little of the "funky" out in all of us. The beds were perfect and not "saggy" or too soft. I with the upstairs had a 1/2 batch but that certainly didn't take away from the overall comfort of the unit. We'd definitely stay again.

This apartment was thoughtfully designed and furnished to provide accommodations for our family of 4 adults. We loved the touch of framed children’s artwork on the walls. We had a blast playing Tabu one evening, just one of several provided games. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans although we did not choose to cook there. The location near the beach and town worked well for us. The apartment is attached to a single family home as noted but we had total privacy and never heard the homeowners moving about. It is situated on a quiet street. We had a great breakfast at Johnny’s, dinner at Ciya and also at Nano’s. We also rented bikes and rode along the beach and hiked in Purisuma Redwood Preserve.

Our wonderful hosts Michelle and Pete have created a beautiful, peaceful, welcoming home away from home!It is absolutely gorgeous and everything we needed was supplied- from kitchen to bathroom to bedroom amenities, explicit directions for working the electronics, to suggestions for restaurants and things to do- it was all there. If we could give it 100 stars we would! Thank you Michelle and Pete, we can’t wait to come back!

Super Clean and Easy Walk to the Ocean

We appreciated this clean, updated apartment. We especially loved the well-stocked kitchen and comfortable dining nook with big windows looking directly onto the beautiful garden next door and the treed backyard. The finishes throughout are modern and attractive, with many fun kids' art pieces on display including a great hand drawn map of the area that was really useful in guiding us to the ocean path and downtown. It's a great place for two adults or two couples or parents and older kids who want a little space from each other because the main bedroom is downstairs and the second bedroom is upstairs adjacent to the second floor living space. It's a great place for people who appreciate natural light and nice vistas from the windows. The rooms on both floors have big windows, with the upstairs living room opening onto a deck with a view over the neighborhood and another larger deck at ground level. The beds are fairly comfortable. The property is in a safe and attractive neighbor with many beautifully landscaped yards, making for a nice walk around the neighborhood. But of course, the highlight is the grassy path at the end of the block that leads through a meadow to the cliff-side walking path with spectacular views of the ocean and an easy walk to the beach access areas. It is also a short drive to the cute downtown area with some fun shops, a good bookstore, great bakeries and restaurants, including a wonderful retro diner--all on main street.
