Hermosa casa frente a la playa en Hood Canal

Los huéspedes disfrutarán de unas vacaciones inolvidables en esta casa de 2 dormitorios / 2 baños frente al mar completamente renovada y recientemente remodelada.  Esta casa está a solo una hora y media de Seattle, por lo que es perfecta para una escapada de fin de semana o unas largas vacaciones.

Las escaleras privadas a la playa brindan un fácil acceso a la playa donde se puede pescar, nadar o lanzar kayaks. La casa tiene 2 kayaks de tamaño adulto y uno que es para niños. Disfrute el cangrejo, la pesca, la caza de ostras y muchas otras actividades en la playa.

El dormitorio principal tiene 2 camas individuales y un baño adjunto, mientras que el segundo dormitorio tiene una cama doble.  También hay un sofá cama en la sala de estar y otro sofá cama en la sala de estar. Tenemos 2 cunas disponibles para huéspedes adicionales.

La sala de estar está amueblada con cómodos asientos para 6 personas, un televisor de pantalla plana y vistas de Hood Canal. Hay una segunda pantalla plana en la sala familiar. Tenemos televisión por cable, WiFi gratis y llamadas de larga distancia gratis.

La cocina es perfecta para cocinar con electrodomésticos nuevos y está totalmente equipada. También hay un pozo de fuego para asar malvaviscos y una parrilla al aire libre.

The beaches in Seabeck are private so please stay directly in front of our house if you choose to use the beach.
We are currently asking that shellfish not be harvested because they were depleted last year and we need a season or 2 for them to recover.

This is our second time staying at this property and just like the first time we enjoyed our stay a lot. Really cute and cozy place that is perfect for our little family. Picture perfect views, wildlife viewing, and lots of tasty oysters.

Great place for family

My family and I had a great time at this property! Perfect place for the family to relax and enjoy nature. We came on a rainy weekend so didn't get to enjoy the place to its best potential, but I would love to come back during the summer I think it would be a blast. Overall, the place was very clean and check-in was a breeze.

Beautiful family weekend

I brought my mother and aunt out for a weekend stay and we had an absolutely lovely stay! The area and property are stunningly beautiful! We enjoyed all the amenities, especially the kayaks. The house is very cute and well situated and the cove is gorgeous and accessible.

Great swims and quiet cottage

The swimming was great every day, the views were lovely and the shade on the porch was welcome during a heat wave. This is a family cottage and not fancy, and it is a fair distance from towns, shopping and restaurants. If you are looking for a high end place with all the amenities and nearby conveniences and attractions, this is probably not the place for you. If you love to swim in Hood Canal and appreciate a quieter kind of vacation, with an owner who wants you to enjoy your experience as much as her family does, you will enjoy it as much as we did.

Great quiet place

Enjoyed time there to get some writing done. Neighbors are very friendly and we enjoyed daily visits from community cats. Hood Canal is a great place to paddle board and the views are spectacular.

Incredible experience! This property is perfect for a relaxing and quite location; full of Sunshine, picturesque views (mountains and the hood canal) and a very friendly community we would highly recommend staying here.

Great place for a beach getaway

This house has a great view of Hood Canal and the Olympics. The house is well equipped and the layout is great for families. There are two sitting areas indoors. One of them has cabinets full of games and activities for kids. There are kayaks and life jackets available for use. The kitchen is good sized and well equipped. One review said that it didn't have salt or oil. I found lots of seasonings, oil, and salt. I suspect that some cooking supplies are left behind by other guests. It's a great place and I would love to visit again!

Wonderful getaway spot!

This is a beautiful little home right on the shore of Hood Canal. The scenery is beautiful, and it was so peaceful to sit on the front porch and watch the water and wildlife. They offered several amenities and things to entertain us. We especially loved kayaking! We would be happy to stay here again in the future.

Just a wonderful location, a view better than any. Happy to have kayaks available, lots of crabs and oysters to observe, and very friendly neighbors. Definitely hope to come back.

Moms getaway

What a great little place! It was perfect for our group of 4. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need (except for spices, oils understandably). Updated bathrooms. Comfy beds. The sofa bed was foam mattress and more comfortable than expected. We loved the front porch for coffee/wine chats while watching the water. We had a fire in the fire pit out front. We enjoyed the kayaks on our last day and saw three little sea otters playing on the shore and in the water. Communication with the owner was easy and responses were fast. She was very kind! We all want to come back with our families and/or for another ladies getaway. Thank you so much! We are ready for re-entry to our busy lives. Sorta. ;)

Fantastic Trip

Excellent communication with the owners- the neighbors were great too! The cottage was wonderful. Couldn’t ask for a more convenient and beautiful place on the water. Our 5 year old asked if we could live there forever- I didn’t argue.

Thanksgiving in the Beach Cottage

The cottage was a wonderful place to stay for our Thanksgiving trip to Washington. Our daughter's family lives in the area and it gave us a great place to stay while we were in the area. Our grandchildren loved spending time on the beach. The neighbors were friendly. There were all kinds of activities to do outside although it was a little cool to spend very much time outside. The cottage was clean, open and really comfortable. The property owner was very responsive and easy to work with. We would love to return again in the future, especially when the weather is warmer and we can spend more time taking advantage of the outside activities. We would love to take the kayaks out on the water!

Crabbing with my best friend

An amazing weekend getaway hanging with my best friend. We went crabbing, ate lots of oysters and enjoyed the quiet and serenity of the neighborhood. A perfect getaway if you enjoy nature and sitting around the fire chatting.

Very Disappointed

Stayed two night with my two best friends for a girls getaway weekend. Although we had a good time, we were quite disappointed. This place was not at all what we expected. The info, pictures and description was a bit misleading. The fireplace inside was a small electric fireplace, the firepit out side was right next to the road and was a metal pot, the other outside fireplace was nice, but was in front of the house with only a small space to gather around and no view. Just views of neighbors across and next door. The house was not very clean, floors were sticky and had lots of crumbs, etc. The house smelled VERY musty. Poor ventilation when cooking and one window would jam into an open position and was very difficult to get closed without jamming your fingers, dishes that were "clean", were actually quite dirty. Ugh. The house has two showers, which had bugs, spiders and mosquitoes in them. The bar stools are wobbly, furnishings are old. They do not stock you with enough toilet paper, which is awful. For what really was quite pricey/night after adding in all the fees, we were pretty disappointed. Additionally, the layout of the house is very poor. Because, if you want to enjoy the water, you will really end up spending all your time in the small space on the water side of the house. The main living area and dining room are on the main road side of the house, so don't expect to dine with a water view. There are no views from either of the small bedrooms either. Additionally, there is no privacy as the neighbors look over at you. Sorry to say, this was a disappointment to say the least and we will not return. Hope you find this review helpful.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Our family bought this property as a way to stay connected. Our kids are getting older and their activities are more time consuming but with this house being centrally located between our families it makes for an easy weekend getaway. My daughters and my nephews have so much fun swimming and kayaking out in front of the house. They also enjoy riding their bikes and scooters around the neighborhood. The adults enjoying hiking relaxing and enjoying the views of Hood Canal and the Olympic Mountains.

This house is located at the end of the road in the community of Holly. It is located on a beautiful inlet on Hood Canal with calm waters that makes it perfect for kayaking, swimming or just floating on an air mattress.
