I have been renting with VRBO for over 15 years, and this is the most updated and stocked house we have been in. There is nothing in the house you could want that is not already there. Beautiful views of both the ocean and intercoastal waterway. Quiet neighborhood. Owner is absolutely fantastic to deal with. VRBO had a technical glitch with the reservation, but owner reached out and made sure everything worked perfectly for our daughter's wedding. Constant communication with her for months to alleviate any fears from the technical glitch. Everyone should rent with an owner like this.

We were there with 4 teenagers, a 10 yo, and three adults. Stormy week so beach time was limited. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and find stuff to engage with: multiple tables for puzzles and games, multiple TVs, pool table. When the sun was shining we used the paddle boards, kayak, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. Two adults were squeezing in a few hours of work each day and there were two ideal office spaces for that to get done.This was our second time staying there and would stay there again. The location cannot be beat and the sunsets from the back deck over the sound are amazing.

Very comfortable home with great views!

This is a lovely home to rent. In contrast to many VRBO listings, which don't leave much in the way of amenities, the owners of this home are kind enough to leave bicycles, kayaks, and other "toys" for guests' use. Even though we didn't have time to use them all, it was much appreciated. The only thing I would note is that the listed room with bunk beds, is inside the master suite. Depending on your group's configuration, that may or may not work for you. It was not a problem for us, but may not suit some groups.

Perfect location for beach getaway

We loved our week here! A perfect spot for a multi-generation gathering from age 4 to 78. The location is so close to the beach (with lifeguards), but away from the real crowds at other beach accesses. The back deck overlooking the sound is magnificent. All the house amenities were a huge hit - fitness room, pool and ping pong tables, grill and paddle boards. We couldn't have asked for more.

Great house in a great town

This was the perfect house for our family getaway. The location is perfect - with the beautiful marsh sunsets and just steps from beach access, at the end of the island without much traffic. The amenities and equipment there is better than I've ever had at a rental - plenty of bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach wagons to haul kiddos and stuff to the beach. Also two kayaks to take advantage of paddling through the marsh - wonderful! The kitchen and baths were supplied with paper products, trash bags, soap and shampoo - we felt right at home from the very beginning. I gave a 4/5 on cleanliness only because the hottub didn't seem very clean on our arrival - but the house was in great shape otherwise. Our family agreed that we would totally stay here again!

Beautiful home & location

Our family gathered to celebrate our daughter's college graduation and staying at a wonderful home on Wrightsville beach truly made it special time. The home is beautiful, well maintained and in a great location. The owners were responsive to a few minor issues we had. My family would not hesitate to visit this home again.

ideal house and location

A truly lovely house with gorgeous views. Everything we could think of was provided and more. A perfect place for a family from 2-65 and older. it had an elevator and cart so no schlepping groceries up 3 flights of stairs! Beds were comfy. We loved that there were 3 full-king beds as we had couples. loved the location overlooking the marsh- way more interesting than the ocean we thought and location on island is nice, not so busy at that end. Also nice to be able to walk around the marsh at this end. Host super responsive as well.

Amazing house and host!!

Our stay are Barbara’s house was amazing. The house itself was gorgeous and was perfect for our stay with friends. We ran into a couple of issues during our stay, but Barbara was extremely responsive and had the issues resolved immediately! I highly recommend this home!!One thing to note when renting this house is that the 5th bedroom with twin bunks is listed as off of the main bedroom. We missed that part when considering this house. The 5th bedroom is part of the main bedroom and doesn’t allow privacy for those staying in the main bedroom. This is good to note if looking for a true 5 bedroom house for 5 adult couples.

Great home directly across from the beach and with a lovely view of the intercoastal from the back yard. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Simply The Best

The single best beach property we have rented up and down the Carolina Coast. The rises over the Atlantic Ocean and sets on an expansive marsh featuring the intercostal waterway as a backdrop. If you can't relax and enjoy this spectacular setting there is little hope of doing it elsewhere. This "cottage" is incredibly well - equipped in a way that anticipates your needs. Our Golden Retriever and young adults in our party had a wonderful time!

Healing family getaway

Mom is on the last legs of her fight with cancer and we booked this gorgeous property so we could enjoy out time together. The house is beautiful, beautifully decorated, comfortable and well stocked. The views were ever-changing and exciting to watch, especially at sunset. This property couldn't have been better for us!
