Our family had a great stay! Condo was great and really nice resort amenities at the Beach Club. Daphne provided a super helpful guidebook with local recommendations on where to eat and things to do!

Beautiful property with lots of amenities - full kitchen, laundry, parking, shuttle to Westin & Beach Club, & Clubhouse pool is one building over & has a grill. Easy access to Basilito. Of note, VRBO locator pin shows the property near the beach- this is not the case. It is located at the entrance of the Reserva Conchal & requires a 10 minute shuttle or drive through the property. Also note that there are several stairs from the parking lot to the condo- which would be difficult to navigate for elderly or those with poor knees. That being said, it was perfect for us! Daphne was wonderful- great communication and we had everything we needed!

This really is an amazing location. Our family’s activities took us exploring from Playa Flamingo down to Playa Avellana and Daphne’s condo was the perfect home base. The condo pool was beautiful and convenient for a dip any time and we loved relaxing and enjoying the views of the golf course. The unit was the perfect size/configuration for our family of 6 and had a well-equipped functional kitchen. Daphne’s guidebook was very helpful, especially for restaurant recommendations! All around wonderful stay!

Wonderful Condo, Great Location

Stop looking, this is a wonderful condo located in a great community. If you're visiting with your family or sharing with friends, you won't be disappointed. The condo was very accommodating, and it had everything we needed. Having access to the private beach club is a must. Spa, Gym, Pool, Dining, and Beach Access. Also very close to popular restaurants.

More than we expected

Wonderful place to stay. Quiet, safe, you hear the howler monkeys through the day. The condo was equiped with everything one needs when your are gone for a few days/week. Having access to many pools was a dream. Beds were comfortable. Beach towels are provided with some toys and floats. Hosts were excellent and great to communicate with. We rented a car (tip:pick up before arriving at condo) Easy to get to Playa Flamingo & Tamirindo. Everyone was friendly.

Fantastic Stay!

We had a great stay at Daphne’s place! The view and the sunsets were incredible. The reserva shuttle was quick to arrive when we wanted to go to the beach club. We loved all her local recommendations. We hope to return!

Nice home with access to Playa Conchal

Home looks better than the pictures. Beautiful beach club is definitely a plus. Access to the special Playa Conchal, but it took a few minutes drive.

Easy Stay

Our family of four stayed here for four nights very comfortably. The condo was as advertised. It is located on the golf course with a nice view. Within the community gated community it is about a 10 minute drive to the Beach Club which we utilized. Apparently this is the only sub-community that has access to the Westin when they are not at capacity which we utilized one day (make sure to stop by the concierge and get a bracelet!). Daphne’s recommendations for the area were great and we ate in town every night. We had a car for the week and think that was important here. It was perfect for us and Daphne was incredibly responsive.

Relaxing Beach Area Oasis

Staying at Daphne & Jim's condo for the beach portion of our trip was ideal. After hiking the rainforest up north, being greeted by the welcoming amenities of the condo (including access to the Beach Club pool, gym, restaurant and picture-perfect beach) was calming and restorative. We often had the condo pool, mere steps away, all to ourselves. Treat yourselves and stay here!

Amazing family vacation!

Our trip to Costa Rica was absolutely amazing. The condo fit the needs of our family perfectly, was well appointed and had a beautiful view! Our host Daphne was unbelievably responsive and helpful and she made outstanding recommendations for activities, restaurants and beaches. We truly hope to return again in the future!

Great experience

Daphne provided excellent information in advance and was available to answer all our questions. The unit was spacious with a nicely shaded balcony overlooking the golf course. The facilities are excellent and we really enjoyed using the beach club with pool, restaurant and access to the beach. Highly recommend this rental.

Perfect Property for a Vacation

We arrived to find a Beautiful Condo in a great location! The condo was very well decorated with high quality bedding. A spectacular view for sunsets over the golf course. The kitchen was well equipped with high quality pots and pans and some basic stable's ie. salt pepper coffee etc. This made it so nice for cooking breakfast before heading out to the Links. I highly recommend this property. The owners really did a great job to make their home special. Thank you

Winter break for our family

This 3 bedroom condo worked great for our family. Our girls loved playing at the beach club pool and Playa Conchal. It is a short drive to Playa Flamingo where we went scuba diving (Rocket Frogs). It is about a 30 minute drive to Tamarindo for surfing. We had easy access to fun and excitement but we came back to to quiet of the condo to relax

Beautiful property

We stayed 2 nights in March. Check-in process and communication from owner was excellent. The recommendations and booklet provided were helpful, property clean, very safe, and as described. We enjoyed the use of the Beach Club pool and amenities, although getting there was further than I expected (drive or take shuttle). The only downside is the condo not really walkable to anything like coffee shops/restaurants, but that's probably why it's more relaxing to stay there as compared with Tamarindo. I would stay again.

I stayed in this condo for 2 months. I have to say, it is the most beautiful accommodation in the whole province of Guanacaste. It accommodates many people very comfortably, and has all the amenities that anyone could possibly need. I loved the infinity pool, and stepping into the condo after a hot day at the beach and being instantly cooled by the air conditioning. Your condo is beautiful. Thank you for all the hospitality. I will definitely be back!

Fantastic Spot

We ended up here the last few nights of our trip to Costa Rica. The condo was as described and very comfortable inside. The property around is amazing (Westin) and offers one of the nicest beaches we have ever seen. Check in was nothing more than announcing our arrival at the front gate and walking to the front door. Daphne provided a comprehensive list of everything we would need to know along with local stores and restaurants to check out. The property has everything you may need but we did have a car and chose to explore the area outside for the most part. Check out was also a breeze and Daphne again communicated with us during our stay as needed. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again if we ever make it back

Escape to beautiful Costa Rica

We were so excited to visit Reserva Conchall and this beautiful villa which overlooks a stunning golf course. The villa was appointed with everything we needed from 3 generously sized bedrooms, spacious kitchen and living area and even some Costa Rican coffee for our mornings on the outdoor deck. Daphne is an amazing host. She checked in with us throughout our stay and provided the best recommendations for restaurants, beaches and things to do in the area in a guidebook that she emailed to us prior to our stay. Access to the Reserva Conchal beach club was amazing! We took the shuttle to the club each morning, worked out at the gym, had breakfast at the restaurant and then lounged by the pool or at the beautiful Playa Conchal. Would definitely recommend staying at this beautiful villa.

Playa Conchal’s Gem

We were in Costa Rica for two weeks and this by far was our favorite place to stay. It was so spacious, beautiful and clean. The beds and pillows were so comfortable, we all slept amazing. Daphne provided everything from a Smart TV in multiple rooms to snorkel gear to board games and books. My husband loved the coffee (and I loved the washer and dryer) that was provided as well. Loved how quickly I'd get responses to my questions and concerns. Daphne was detailed with her instructions. Not only was the condo amazing, but the entire property was incredible. We loved the ease of use for the shuttles to take us to the state of the art beach club, where we enjoyed the pool, beautiful beach that included paddleboards and kayaks as well as the gym. We also were able to play tennis and use the Westin's pool too. We are looking forward to coming back to Costa Rica and staying here and we will be recommending this place to all of our family and friends!

Beware of Theft!!

The condo was lovely, however please be aware that this property was entered one evening by someone using a key and our daughter's laptop and camera were stolen. Please be aware that the owners do not carry insurance and would not accept any responsibility for the security of their property or loss to their guests. Renter beware--use at your own risk.

Great stay!

This property is perfect for families! The house is well-maintained and equipped with everything you might need, from laundry machines to proper cookware and even condiments for meals. We especially loved the beach club and the onsite restaurant, which offered healthy meal options for everyone. We also used the Westin pool, but found the food there quite expensive, so we chose not to eat onsite. A great alternative was walking from the Westin beach to the beach club for lunch. One night, we dined at the Indian restaurant, which was just a 6-minute walk away. While the route is walkable, some areas are dark, so we used our phone flashlights to ensure visibility for passing cars. We also enjoyed dinners at an Italian restaurant and a Costa Rican restaurant nearby. For breakfast supplies, we visited a small grocery store (super) in Brasilito. For restaurants further away, we relied on Uber, but there’s a restriction: Ubers and taxis cannot pick you up directly outside the condo. You’ll need to walk to the entry complex gate for pickups, which was inconvenient, especially since it rained every evening. However, drop-offs at the condo were allowed, which made arrivals easier.

Beautiful community

Our family of 6 spent 10 days at this condo over the Easter holiday. It was fabulous! We loved the size of this large resort community. We had our choice of pools from the kids' favorite the small condo pool, the beach club pool and the paradius pool. The owner had a nice gift basket for our arrival, containing juice, coffee, beer, etc. The condo was very spacious and clean. All of the people we encountered in this country were so friendly. We always felt safe. We rented a car during our entire stay and ventured off to different towns everyday. My 3 kids, age 12 and twins 11, loved the different animals they saw around the resort, from the iguanas, cuantis, to the howler monkeys. We did many excursions, zip lines at Congo, trip to Arenal volcano, deep sea fishing, ATVs on the beach, mud bath at miravalles volcano, and surfing. My husband recommends billfish safari for fishing, ask for joquain. He caught a 500 lb Marlin with them!! My son enjoyed surfing lessons with Matt from Point Break Surf. The conceriege can arrange several trips, but it is costly. Instead I would recommend using Javier, a guide suggested by this owner. Javier took us to a volcano where we enjoyed mud baths, hot springs, and a beautiful waterfall. He was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable, friendly and worked for gratuity only. This was a wonderful vacation, the kids best vacation so far! Would highly recommend!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

There are many wonderful places at Reserva Conchal but I think our condo at Bougainvillea has the best location. We have few stairs to access our place, and very close to the beautiful condo pool. Other condos can have many stairs to access their condo. In the heat or carrying luggage it is nice not to have too many stairs.
