Beachy Tiki en el agua!

Hermosa escapada de vacaciones de 1 dormitorio y 1 baño. Amplio y luminoso, este apartamento de 860 pies cuadrados se encuentra en la parte trasera de mi casa y es el lugar perfecto para alojarse. Estamos ubicados cerca de tiendas, restaurantes, playas, el nuevo complejo de béisbol y todo lo que Palm Beaches tiene para ofrecer. Esta propiedad NO está en la playa pero está en una vía fluvial interior con vistas al agua. Lo llamo Beachy Tiki por la decoración, no por la ubicación.
Recientemente remodelado, concepto abierto, cocina totalmente nueva, con una gran isla con encimeras de granito y asientos de taburete, triturador de basura, refrigerador de acero inoxidable con máquina de hielo y lavavajillas. También se proporcionan platos, cubiertos, tazas de café y vasos. No hay estufa, pero hay un microondas, horno tostador, cafetera y olla y una parrilla de gas afuera. ¿Quién cocina de vacaciones de todos modos? Pero hay una lavadora y secadora para sus necesidades de lavandería.
Hermosa cama queen size y mucho espacio para ropa con vestidor. El baño contiguo cuenta con un nuevo lavabo y tocador.
Relájese bajo la cabaña tiki disfrutando de las vistas al agua. Observe el salto de los peces y vea los pelícanos y otras aves que viven alrededor de la laguna de agua salada. Hay una piscina para su uso, e incluso kayaks si desea explorar un poco. Camine hasta el excelente restaurante de mariscos frente al mar a la vuelta de la esquina. Una tienda de conveniencia y una gasolinera también están a solo unos pasos.

Clean and everything you need. Nice outdoor space and friendly, helpful hosts. Unfortunately, the homeowners have cars. I'm very sensitive to cats, and the outdoor area, and parts of the house have a noticeable cat urine smell.

I had several issues during my stay. I only saw the host once, and despite multiple attempts to contact her, her phone number was disconnected. When I finally ran into her and asked why she hadn’t responded—especially since I wanted to stay an extra night—she said she was out camping.The house had a strong smell of smoke and cat urine, and the trash can was still full when I arrived. At check-in, which was supposed to be at 3:00 pm, someone was still cleaning the house at 3:37 pm. In addition, an interior connecting door could not be secured, which made me feel unsafe.The pool was not clean, and the owner was smoking in the shared backyard. Overall, the property did not feel comfortable or secure.

Unit stay

Alot of aunts in the house. Cat litter box smell. No water pressure in bathroom. Over all stay was good. Home owner was very nice.

Jen and Karen (and Jersey!) were delightful hosts and we really had a great time. Perfect setting for a 2-week vacation (even though I was ill and in bed a lot) the atmosphere was perfect! Kudos to the crew for making our stay so pleasant….we’ll be back again!!!

Enjoyed our visit to the Beachy Tiki. Great inlet location with relaxing reviews. Enjoyed a dip in the pool and casting a couple lines from the dock. Plenty of amenities in the area. A nice spot to get away for a couple days.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY

I am currently working on getting this property removed from VRBO. We booked this property, but we did not stay in it because of the condition and the lack of communication actually NO communication from the owner.We never received check-in information from the property owner. When our flight arrived we decided to just go to the location to try to contact them upon arriving at the location. We found the house in disarray front blinds were ripped down mini cats in the window, travel trailer in the driveway with people living in it. We contacted VRBO explained that we did not receive check-in information and have been unable to get in touch with the owner as they did not respond to our messages through the VRBO app. VRBO could not even get a hold of the owner. They did not respond to them as well. We ended up getting a full refund even though it said no refunds because the property was in such disarray and we could not even enter it. Not sure how this property has a 9.8 rating. As I stated, I am working with VRBO to get this property completely removed. It is horrific nothing like the pictures or the description!

DO NOT STAY HERE, ZERO COMMUNICATION

Reached out to host three times over the span of a month prior to reservation. Day of, with still no answer, check-in info, or any communication at all, we had to contact Vrbo to very a refund and book a new start. NO COMMUNICATION, DO NOT BOOK

I really enjoyed watching the pelicans diving for their dinner. The peacefulness of this location was appreciated. Also enjoyed the kitties. Only drawback was the TV. Everything else was fine.

Loved our stay

We stayed at Beachy Tiki for three full weeks, and it truly felt like home. The apartment is spacious, and we were able to cook many meals and enjoy all the accommodations including the pool. The neighborhood is very walking friendly. Karen is a wonderful lady and we now consider her a friend. We enjoyed our stay so much, we’ve booked for the week of Christmas!

Nice stay in West Palm Beach

We enjoyed our short stay at Beachy Tiki. The place is cozy and comfortable, and the location is great. It’s near any shopping or entertainment you could need, and central to the area. The host Karen greeted us and showed us around. We enjoyed sitting and watching the catfish jump right on the Intercoastal!

Lovely stay at this poolside cottage on the water. I wouldn't recommend the fishing... unless you like catfish. Overall a nice, quiet retreat

GROSS - smelt like cats - & someone was on our couch when we came home

CATS all over the property, smelled so bad of urine and hair. We than walked in the home after leaving for 1 hr to find someone on the COUCH with our stuff in the place. He said he was the "grandson" and he had friends coming over, told him to leave. He than walked BACK in after 3 mins saying he "forgot something". So not only coming in once but twice. Told the woman we were leaving - no I am sorry, or ANYTHING. Took 2 days for a refund. Never communicated. RIDICULOUS. DISGUSTING. NEVER STAY HERE.

Wildly Unprofessional We checked in on October 7th, we received no information prior to our arrival. Luckily the property is connected to the main house where there are full time tenants that we were able to ask what the code was to enter the unit. We were told on October 8th how to enter the home by Karen. Upon entry into the unit, the smell of cat pee was overwhelming. Karen says that no cats are allowed in the unit itself, but clearly the tenants in the main house (which is only separated from the unit by a door) have cats that they do not clean up after regularly. The overwhelming smell caused me to have a major allergic reaction as I’m very allergic to cats. The unit is not very “private” at all. You can hear everything going on in the main house, the backyard is shared and the tenants can see you through the back windows. The pool is dirty. We had to cut our trip short and leave on October 8th due to the state mandatory evacuation because of Hurricane Milton. I requested a partial refund because of this from Karen. We agreed on $250, and she asked for my cashapp (at the time I didn’t know VRBO frowned upon third party payments) I provided her with my cashapp and then I didn’t hear anything from her for 4 days (10/12). I contacted VRBO support to let them know about the issue and request the refund. From there they asked me to contact her and ask her to respond to their email. I called her on Sunday (10/13), throughout that day I was on the phone with her at least 6

HOST NEVER PROVIDED ACCESS

We had a confirmed reservation. The day of check in we messaged the host 3 times and never received check in instructions. Finally we called VRBO and on the line for 1.5 hours, never could reach the host. AFTER DRIVING WITH A BOAT, FOOD AND DOG WE HAD NO WHERE TO STAY AND VRBO WAS NO HELP!!!!!

My granddaughter and I were on a college tour and had an appointment in Palm Beach for Monday, June 24, 2024. I wanted us to have an opportunity to check out the area before our college tour appointment so booked this location based on pictures and previous review. It did not disappoint! The pictures were accurate,on the VRBO website, especially for the interior of the apartment. It was lovely and clean. Very roomy for two people. Loved sitting outside by the water (lagoon or canal - I don't know) and pool. My granddaughter was anxious to use her paddle board so was out on the water late in the afternoon one evening. The location is convenient to several beaches and John D McArthur State park - another location that is great for canoeing, kayaking, or paddle boarding. We met the hostess, who lives on the property, with her fur babies the first night and felt immediately at ease and comfortable. I would definitely stay again and have recommended it to my daughter and son-in-law if my granddaughter ends up going to college in the area.
