Sehr gute Vorabinfo, Aussicht aufs Meer und Monaco unbezahlbar

Wir wurden herzlich von der Concierge empfangen. Auch die Vorabinformationen waren sehr hilfreich und genau. Wir konnten schon sehr viel früher wie angekündigt das Check-in machen. Dies hat uns sehr gefreut. So konnten wir alles schon mal in die Wohnung bringen und schon sehr bald die Umgebung erkunden.Die Wohnung bietet einen herrlichen Blick aufs offene Meer und Monaco. Jeden Tag herrliche Sonnenuntergänge. Wir müssten auch nie frieren. Die Heizung hat hervorragend funktioniert.Bad und Schlafzimmer waren sauber, die Küche überhaupt nicht. Diese wurde aber am nächsten Tag gesäubert. Zumindest soweit dies noch möglich ist. Leider ist die Küche schon recht in die Jahre gekommen. Kühlschrank und Backofen sind recht alt, dementsprechend auch nicht mehr so schön anzusehen. Auch konnten wir keine der vorhandenen Pfannen benutzen. Sind alle schon sehr angegriffen. Auch haben alle Wasserhähne viel Kalkrückstände, die man sicherlich mit einer professionellen Reinigung davon befreien könnte. Alles in allem haben wir es uns so wohnlich wie möglich gemacht und unsere Ferien genossen. Schluss am Ende, hat jeder eine andere Vorstellung, wie eine Ferienwohnung aussehen soll.

Hi everyone👋 We spent almost three weeks in this condo, and we were so happy there. First of all the apartment is located in the very beautiful ancient building. The gardens with its statues, the pool and especially the window view are amazing! Everything was there including kitchens supplies, linen for the beds, laundry spot etc. it was a little problem with connecting to the local internet because of the storm. But it was resolved quickly. The location is very comfortable, close to Monaco and Menton. You can engaged in lots of activities like hiking in medieval villages, visiting museums, concerts, testing good wines and enjoying delicious French and Italian food. Having all this said we definitely going to miss this adorable place. But planning to return back next year. Thank you!

Ferienwohnung in herrlicher Lage

Der Ausblick auf Monaco war wirklich fantastisch! Man hätte sich nur noch einen kleinen Balkon gewünscht, dann hätte man ihn noch besser genießen können. Den ruhigen Pool im Garten haben wir sehr gerne genutzt. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist fast schon mehr als komplett: vom Bügelbrett über die Waschmaschine bis hin zur Wäschespinne ist alles da, was man evtl. brauchen könnte - genauso bei den Kochutensilien. Nur ein paar Kleinigkeit wären evtl. zu bemängeln. So lief das Wasser in Dusche und Bidet nur sehr langsam ab und die Türe zur Spülmaschine war schon sehr wackelig.

Très belle location

L'appartement est superbe. Une vue magnifique sur la mer et Monaco. La piscine est splendide avec une eau chaude. Le parc est superbe. Un parking sous terrain à disposition mais il faut faire très attention pour se garer car très étroit. Je vous recommande cette location.

Geheimtipp: Roquebrune und diese Wohnung

Alles bestens. Wer Èze und seine bevorzugte Lage mag aber den ganzen Touristent Trubel nicht braucht, der ist hier richtig. Treppensteigen erhält die Figur im Urlaub denn Roquebrune liegt am braunen Feld wie schon der Name verrät. Aber die Belohnung sind spektakuläre Ausblicke und vieles, was auf Entdeckung wartet wie La Pausa in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft usw.

Die Wohnung liegt in einem alten Schloss und bietet einen fantastischen Ausblick auf Monaco. Wunderschön und sehr pittoresk ist ebenfalls die Altstadt von Roquebrune. Gerne wieder.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit unglaublich tollem Garten

Die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt. Man hat einen wunderschönen Blick auf das Meer und das Cap. Zu Fuß ist man in 5-10 Min in der Altstadt von Roquebrunne. Das schönste an der Unterkunft ist der Garten. Er ist riesig, gut gepflegt und unheimlich verwunschen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall nochmal in die Wohnung kommen

Mooi appartement in een fantastische omgeving

Mooi appartement en een oud paleis. Het paleis werd volledig heringedeeld in appartementen. De inkom en trappenhal bleven behouden in hun oude glorie. Adembenemend mooi. De tuinen en gaanderijen tegen de helling zijn zeer mooi en op en top onderhouden. Op het laagste terras ligt het zwembad. Mooi zicht vanuit de vensters op de Middellandse zee en op Monaco en Monte Carlo. Evenwel geen terras maar dit kan je goed maken aan het zwembad waar het over het algemeen heel rustig is. Het appartement is modern ingericht is net en goed onderhouden. Goede uitvalsbasis om de streek te verkennen. Op een boogscheut van Italië.

Lovely little apartment in an excellent location with great views of Monaco

The apartment is well situated being midway between the hillside village of Roquebrun and the coast of Cap Martin with easy access down to Menton and Monaco in the other direction. The apartment itself has great views of Cap Martin and across to Monaco. Even though it is not that big, it is adequately furnished and the secure parking made life very easy. You would certainly need a car to stay here. We did have a few minor issues but they were resolved with complete satisfaction. The owner was always very obliging and helpful. Overall, we had a great time and would certainly return to the area.

un petit paradis

La description correspond exactement à la présentation sur internet. En ouvrant les volets le matin vous avez la splendide vue sur la mer et le golfe de Monaco comme sur la photo. Un vrai petit chateau florentin très bien entretenu, un endroit calme où l'on entend que les petits oiseaux les cigales. L'appartement a tout le nécessaire pour la cuisine, une belle douche et un lit confortable. Tous les lieux fameux de la côte d'azur sont à 5/10 minutes de voiture. Une très belle location à recommander à tous mes amis. Raymond (Milano)

Highly recommended, will return

Our family of four have just had a wonderful week here. The flat is 10/10 in terms of comfort, functionality, and convenience. The flat is better than the photos and the descriptions suggest. It is clean, newly refurbished, and, while not large (45 sm), our family was very comfortable here. I highlight the following positive points about this property. (1) Highly secure. We rented a house in Eze a few years ago and were robbed. So security is top on my priority list, and this place has the best security one can find in the area. There is a very private entrance. At the end of the long driveway, there is an electric gate that only allows residents' cars through. Then there is another secure front door to the beautiful building. Then there is the flat. We felt totally safe here. (2) The flat is new and clean, and everything about the flat is super functional, and well designed. If we had bought a vacation property here, we would have fitted it out in a similar manner. (3) The view is stunning and the temperature here inside the property has been absolutely perfect. Mornings are the best. Monte Carlo Bay is so beautiful and we had a postcard-perfect view. (4) The pool is at the bottom of the steps surrounded by a mature garden. The water temperature was always perfect. (5) The drive to Monte Carlo was very close. The other beautiful towns in the area are also short drives away. This is a very convenient base to explore the region. (6) The owners were 10/10: very conscientious and considered. Both Joe and David were very responsive and hospitable. I am writing this positive review in the hope that many other visitors to this area consider renting this property. The owners have done a great job preparing this flat and they deserve to have many visitors, in my view. We will return one day.

Wonderful stay on the French Riviera

Our stay at the Chateau de la Mer was perfect in any respect. The apartment reflects the description on the website. It is newly refurbished, very clean and comfortable for a couple. Mostly, it is a place for relaxing. The kitchenette is well equipped, the bed is ergonomic, wi-fi, cable TV, dishwasher, washing machine, hairdryer, etc... Wonderful view on Monte-Carlo bay. The villa has a nice garden and swimming pool (although we did not use it only because it's winter time). The two concierges are helpful, polite and discreet. Parking lot available. Roquebrune, arguably the most beautiful historical town of the Riviera is located 5 minutes walking distance. We had breakfast there oftentimes. Monaco is also very near (10 minutes by car) and it takes less than half an hour to reach the center of Nice (the highway being located only 10 minutes Roquebrune). The rest of the Riviera--Cap Ferrat, Eze, Villefranche, St. Paul de Vence, Antibes, etc.--is all at hand. We sincerely highly recommend this place for a couple, and not only in summer time, as we've spent an awesome week there in the low season. Will definitely get back there.

Superbe Appartement avec Vue Exceptionnelle

Appartement très comfortable avec vue magnifique sur Monaco. La description est précise et correcte, l'appartement est propre, bien entretenu, très moderne avec un équipement de très bonne qualité.  Position ideale, à 10 min de voiture de Montecarlo, e 5 minutes à pieds du village de Roquebrune. Service de nettoyage de l'appartement, concierge aimable. J'ai trouvé la résidence, son jardin et sa piscine vraiment très agréables. Nous le recommandons fortement.
