Great At Usual

This was our second time staying at this home. We love how open it is. Nice large kitchen, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. No lack of towels and bedding. Kitchen dishes were plentiful. Best views ever!

We had a blast! Very clean, manager very friendly and quick with response. Having outdoor furniture available would be a huge plus, but screened in porch worked wonderful for a rainy night, and to get away from mosquitoes!

Family Vacation

Let's start with the Property Manager. Jenny was "First Class" and went out of her way to ensure we had a seamless check in and check out process. She was very responsive to any questions we had. The home is beautiful and very spacious. Able to accommodate a large family gathering. Location to downtown Battle Lake is excellent. I would strongly recommend this rental to my friends.

Fun week

While this property was spacious on the inside and the yard was huge, we especially loved the extra large screened in porch. The kitchen was also great for many of us to be preparing food in there together while still being able to keep eyes on the kids. The shallow, sandy beach was especially welcome with the little ones in our family. There were lots of great restaurants nearby and the ice cream shop and cookie dough shops in town were exceptional. We loved building bonfires at night, enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets and we’re glad we remembered the bug spray!

Gorgeous Rental Home

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home! There was plenty of room for our party of 11 - this is a big house! The windows looking out to Battle Lake were amazing. Our family has vacationed in this area of MN for years. We outgrew the small cabins we used to stay in off East Lost Lake. Jenny was very helpful when we inquired about this rental house. It’s hard to choose a rental home online, especially when you are doing so for your entire family. But, the pictures on the VRBO site were accurate to how this rental looks. We drove up to a beautiful circle drive which was easy to drive and unload our large pontoon. The back side of the house reminded a bit of a ski lodge with wide stairs - we were thinking, “this is so nice” before even entering the house. Once inside, the windows across the entire front side of the house were amazing. The dinning table was huge and allowed us to enjoy all of our meals together as a family. There was also a nice screened in porch that allowed us to sit outside in the evening without worry about bugs. The dock was sturdy and housed our pontoon nicely. The lake is rather shallow a good ways from the dock but just required us to go slow to get to deeper water. The kitchen was large and we enjoyed the double ovens and gas stove with griddle in the middle. The bedrooms rooms were decent size and beds were nice (on the soft side). I do want to warn anyone who loves to fish to avoid this lake. It is full of zebra muscles and the fish are small and the lake bottom is pretty bare. Extremely clear water, though, if you like that. Jenny was wonderful! She made time to come see us at the house and answer any questions we might have. She is down to earth and personable. I highly recommend her in helping anyone find a rental home even if this particular property isn’t what you are looking for.

Beautiful spacious lakeside home

We had such a nice time at this home, enjoyed family and of course being right on the water! The spacious home was very clean and welcoming with gorgeous decks and yard! Thank you to the owners for opening up your beautiful home to us!

Great entertaining home

This home has stunning views overlooking the lake. Very peaceful and comfortable. Aside from the large kitchen, family and dining rooms, it has a large screened in porch which is a big plus. I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, functional home with great location!

We had a large group of 14 staying at this home, ranging in age from 3 to 85. It suited our needs perfectly. The upper floor has a large open space for gathering, eating, and playing board games and a second gathering space if you need or want some separation. The kitchen had all of the tools we needed for cooking and a professional gas range. We ate all of our meals in the house. There is a small grocery store about 5 minutes away but we had brought all of our food with us. The screened in porch is wonderful with a wide view of the yard and lake. There are 2 large bedrooms with comfortable beds and 2 large bathrooms on the main floor. There was also a laundry room that we did not use. The lower level had 3 bedroom and a bathroom. While the house was lovely, the reason we stayed here was for the lake. It has very clear water and it is also very shallow. We brought a fishing boat and rented a pontoon which could both be tied to the dock. The lake bottom was mostly sandy. We could catch fish directly from the dock, mostly sunnies and bass. Out on the lake we caught a nice northern pike. The yard was absolutely beautiful! It is a flat lot with a lot of grass for playing games, has good shade and gorgeous flowers. We did not have any bugs, not even mosquitoes for our stay the first week of August. We would definitely stay here again and are trying to find dates for next summer!

Really need a tv with dish or cable. The camper hook-up amp should be in the advertisement. It was clean and mowed and everything worked perfect. Would definitely come back.

Beautiful home

I stayed at this home for a long weekend away with a group of 7 family members and had a fabulous time. The home is absolutely beautiful, spacious, and very very well maintained. The living space had beautiful views of the lake and plenty of space for us to make meals and play games at night at the large table. The screened in porch is HUGE and a great place to spend time in the evenings. Close proximity to town for groceries and such. Back yard was great for yard games (and easily accessed by older adults). Jenny was very easy to work with and made the rental process very smooth. I really can’t think of anything to complain about! We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Great place for large groups.
