The cabin is wonderful and very clean with mod cons - even better than we expected based on the photographs. Being right on the river was fabulous, and the hot tub was new and very clean. We enjoyed eating our meals on the front porch while listening to the water flow by. The host went out of her way to offer us fun outdoor activities for our stay as well. Excellent rental! We highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The cabin was cleaned and well stocked with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. We spend most of the time outside enjoying the river. There were different sitting areas. The hot tub was amazing along with the gas fire table! Tracy was an amazing host! We can’t wait to stay again!

River paradise

Such a cool place! Historic and well updated. All the amenities you could want with the river, hot tub and gas fire on the porch. For clarity on the bathroom, we weren’t exactly sure based on photos - it is a toilet and shower, sink is in the kitchen.

If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, The Trout Shack is the place to stay. This cozy cabin sits right on the river, offering a serene setting that feels like a true retreat. The sound of the flowing water, the fresh air, and the quiet surroundings made it easy to unwind.We especially loved soaking in the hot tub facing the river—absolutely perfect after a day of exploring. The outdoor day bed was another highlight, ideal for relaxing and taking in the view. To top it all off, two deer wandered through the yard, making our stay feel even more connected to nature.Though it feels tucked away, the cabin is just a short drive from Leavenworth, so we were able to enjoy all the restaurants, shops, and charm the town has to offer, then return to the calm of the riverfront.Highly recommend this special spot—we’ll definitely be back!

This is THE SPOT!

My boyfriend and I booked this for our Leavenworth anniversary trip and it exceeded expectations. Tucked away by the river, in the trees, it was so romantic and the views were gorgeous. This little cabin was beyond perfect in every way. Had all the amenities we needed, and then some! Very clean, very cute. We will 100% be back here. If you are booking a trip to Leavenworth this is it. BOOK NOW!!!

Cutest and most relaxing little retreat!

The Trout Shack exceeded our expectations!! It is such an adorable and romantic setting for a quick little getaway. Coffee on the porch was my favorite spot while I took in the sounds and views of the river. It is a short drive to Leavenworth and so much better than staying in a hotel! My favorite place to unwind from work so far this year!

Enjoyed our stay. Be prepared if selecting this is a cabin that has been rehabbed not a modern place. One room. Its adorable but be prepared. The directions to this cabin were confusing and could be explained better. Otherwise loved our stay.

A perfect weekend

We love the trout shack! We have stayed here before in the past and loved it. I was worried that we had built it up in our minds, but it was just as amazing this time around. There was a bit of communication confusion between booking with VRBO and the property management that needs to be ironed out, but that is such a small thing in an otherwise perfect weekend. Book the Trout Shack you won't be disappointed.

Birthday get away

Spent my husband’s 50 th birthday at the cabin ! Wow was I amazed the cabin is so cute and comfortable and the river is beautiful and peaceful we literally sat on the porch for 3 days and enjoyed each other, Cabin is fully stocked with everything you need and some more than other vacation rentals have , communication is great! Perfect getaway for 2 , there’s a larger home available on the property also We will definitely be back ! We even enjoyed a thunderstorm thru the valley during our visit and alls i gotta say is WOW

Awesome relaxing getaway

Trout shack was fabulous! Tracy is such a gracious and generous host! Truly she has thought of everything to provide for a comfortable stress free stay! Our pups also enjoyed the river and walking paths or just lounging by the cabin. We hope to be back soon! Thank you Tracy! What a great place ❤️

Lovely get-away!

Could not have asked for a better stay! Property was clean and property manager thought of everything. Read a whole book by river; husband enjoyed the porch and hot tub. We will be back.

Perfect little get away cabin

The Trout Shack was a wonderful respite from the craziness of a weekend wedding we were attending in the area. It's "cozy", but plenty of space and perfect for a couple. We enjoyed sitting by the river and can imagine how wonderful it would be during other seasons as well (we were there in June). We didn't use it, but the kitchen was well equipped. Tracy even had good coffee and filtered water to go with the Keurig combination k-cup/coffee maker. I loved spending some time reading on the porch daybed. The mosquito netting around it was wonderful! One night it was cool enough to turn on the gas fire on the porch. Such a lovely touch. We would definitely stay here again and happily recommend it.

Book this cabin!

My husband and I stayed at the Trout Shack for the past 4 days. It is a wonderfully rustic cabin that is as charming as it is peaceful. Located on the banks of the Wenatchee River, the sounds of the water lulled us to sleep nightly. And our dogs loved the long walks through the local neighborhood as well. Additionally, you could not ask for better hosts. They've provided everything you need for an unforgettable trip. We’ll definitely be back!
