We absolutely loved having the opportunity to stay at Leslie and Steve's little oasis. We had a wonderful time and could feel the love they have put into Blueberry Springs the last 30 years.

A dreamy little oasis tucked away just off the lake. Stayed here for a week with friends and had a beauty time. Steve and Leslie were super accommodating and were always quick to respond to any small requests. Cabin was well stocked and the beach was pristine.

Beautiful spot

Beautiful spot, very quiet and off the beaten path. Our hosts were lovely and very accommodating. If you are looking for a place to really relax and enjoy nature, this is it! Great family spot to chill and reconnect. The dog had a great time too!

Relax and unplug!

Lovely spot - quiet and relaxing - nature in full bloom - the tall trees, the sound of the creek to the full sky of stars, this place did not disappoint. Close to the lake, and hiking trails nearby. Family loved it! Hosts are a delight!

Serene cabin with fantastic hosts

We were drawn to Blueberry Springs because of the privacy of their beach and just a short walk from the cabin. This place is magical. We felt rested after a couple of days, aided by the sound of the babbling stream. Also very grateful to the hosts for mushroom hunting tips - we had a most delicious dinner with fresh shrooms! Our dogs loved the beach and did lots of zoomies. We hope to come back soon!

Perfect getaway

The weekend was everything we needed, a fantastic rustic cabin off of a remote forestry road. A getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. We hiked, took out the canoe, swam in the lake, played badminton and had a brilliant time . The check-in was easy and the weekend was a huge success. Beautiful area and will be back.

Fantastic!

My partner, our dog Molly and I spent a wonderfully relaxing week at Blueberry Springs. The property and the cabin are gorgeous and the hosts are warm and friendly. We were on the water, in the water, on the beach and in the forest. My partner and Molly went for long hikes in the woods and along the shoreline while I enjoyed good books on the cabin's deck. Our pre-trip expectations were high and all were exceeded.

Little paradise

We stayed at Blueberry Springs with our dog for a long weekend, and it was an absolutely lovely opportunity to unplug and destress. The cabin is rustic and quaintly designed, but with just enough modern flourishes to keep it comfortable. The high-efficiency wood fireplace was especially delightful. The cabin sits on a private lot, mere steps from the picturesque lake, which was still a bit too cold for us to enjoy (but our dog loved it). The hosts were very obliging and couldn’t have been more helpful. It was a great time to unplug and just be. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay longer.

Perfect!

For us, this place was perfect. As a family and extended family, I’ve rented cottages, cabins & homes every year since 2001, at multiple lakes in Montana, Idaho, Washington St, Alberta, and British Columbia and this place is now in our top 5, in my top 3. Steve and Lesley are terrific - communicative, informative, friendly, and responsive. The property and cabin are as described, off the grid, comfortable, private, quiet - but with plenty of open ground, mossy forest, and beach. Sleeping to Blueberry creek gurgling past the bedroom window, early morning swims with no one else on the miles of visible lake, and the best water I’ve drank since I was a kid put the vacation beyond our expectations! Definitely see another visit in our future.

Break in Paradise

We visited this property in the last week of June and was overwhelmed with the beauty and power of the run off water of the creek beside the house, the wildflowers, butterflies and bees. We were entertained by a plethora of hummingbirds putting on their show at a hummumingbird feeder . On the blue-day days, we hiked to the Celista waterfalls, walking through beautiful new -growth forests or resting on the beach on the lake, or in the hammock next to the creek. There were ample space for quiet places to sit and read or having good conversations with family. On the rainy days the cabin was cosy, comfortable with lots of natural light. Our hosts were very helpful and was there to help us within minutes if we needed anything or had questions. This is a place I would love to visit again!

Peaceful, quiet and relaxing!

Such a fantastic little cabin! It was exactly what the family needed to breakup the hustle of city life. My only regret is I didn't book it long enough!! See you next year Steve.

Beautiful area fantastic stay

We absolutely loved staying in this cabin! It was very clean and the fact that we could bring our dog was really amazing. Falling asleep to the sound of the rushing creek and proximity to beach was a really big highlight for us! We loved the Albas falls trail! The hosts were really nice, we would stay here again

Blueberry Springs Review

We are coming off a week long vacation at Blueberry Springs and we were so fortune to have been able to spend time at this property. If you’re looking for a busy, beach holiday this isn’t it. But if you’re looking for relaxation and privacy in a beautiful location this is your spot. The cabin was cozy with an accelectic interior. There were hummingbirds buzzing around and the sound of the creek that runs through the property was enjoyed from the large claw foot tub that overlooks the stream. A few minutes walk and we were on the beach, where the water was warm and perfect for swimming. We would highly recommend this property. Steve and Lesley, our hosts, take a lot of pride in this property and it shows!

We found this property when we were camping with our boys when they were young. It was the perfect get-a-way spot for our family and we have enjoyed developing it over the years.

The unique privacy of this property and the close proximity to the lake have made it impossible for us to give it up...... it is just the perfect place to relax.
