Comnfortable accomodation and great snorkeling!

Beautiful property, exactly like described, excellent location in a gated community. Great support from the management company: we had an issue and they came to our villa on Sunday morning! The outside garden is beautiful, directly on a golf course. Disappointment was the pool closed for maintenance work. The cleaning could have been better, but we quickly fixed this. The two single beds in one of the bedrooms need some maintenance. We also had some issues with air conditioning, but the host helped to sort this out. Check-in instructions were excellent and clear, like the check-out process. The garage includes a variety of beach tools (large and small coolers, 4 chairs, beach umbrella, masks, fins, etc.). Multiple beautiful beaches in the range of max 15 mls, as well as nice shopping centers. Great experience overall!

Wonderful well situated condo

Our family enjoyed our five day stay at this condo. We loved our view from the lanai outside and ate many meals there. The villa had everything we needed and even snorkeling and beach equipment which was much appreciated. We also loved the location in the resort and on the Kona Coast. We highly recommend this place!

Our Stay

Our stay was very comfortable at this condo. Very nice and clean, had everything that one needs for a vacation. Kitchen had spices, and pots and pans for cooking our own meals. The location is close to the airport, and the shops were close by. We had a relaxing and a great experience during our stay.

This unit is lovely. Well appointed with great kitchen appliances, omfortable beds and bedding, a comfortable living arrangement and convenient access to pool and beach. Property Manager was responsive to our needs. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place but need to work on sound police

Suite, property and location all great. Only complaint we had (and speaking to others they felt the same) is the staff member coming out to quiet people by the pool in the middle of the day(kids having fun in pool). Signs posted about quiet hours between 8am and 9pm but grounds people start working with lawnmowers outside bedroom window before 7am.

Fabulous Stay at the Palm Villas

We loved the Palm Villas! The location is fabulous. We were close to the shops at Mauna Lani and enjoyed having access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club. The condo was clean and well stocked. We were very comfortable during our stay. I appreciate the communication from the host….very professional. I would love to stay there again!

Excellent location, near amenities

The condo is in a prime location- right next to a gorgeous pool and a few minutes’ drive from the Mauna Launi Beach Club. The condo itself was appointed beautifully and the renter/broker was very communicative about a minor issue we encountered. We will be back soon!

Great location, view, and accommodations

This condo was perfect for our needs. Very good location with a great view of the quiet golf course. Very safe, nice pool for a small number of units. Communication was mainly through email, but very detailed leaving nothing out. A lot of small things were provided, too (snorkels, coolers, paper products). The grill was nice along with patio. The only issue we had was super minor: coffee still in the coffee pot. Highly recommend.

Clean and spacious

Nice, quiet place with a very short walk to a great pool/hot tub. Drive to the beach is about 5 minutes and it's a very nice beach with chairs and cabanas (if you get there early). Also a nice selection of beach chairs, snorkels, etc in the garage. Nice grounds to walk around in the morning or evening. We enjoyed watching the golfers from the view of golf course from the back patio.Only complaint is the comfort/ loudness of the squeaky beds and the couch in living room, and noise of other guests walking around in the floor above us. Walls must be very thin.

Perfect stay

This unit was very clean and so close to the resort pool. Beautiful grounds, felt safe & convenient garage for our car rental. We found the kitchen to be well stocked & took advantage of the outdoor grill. I messaged management twice & they responded immediately. Very friendly & helpful. One of the bedrooms was a bit warm, but the other areas felt cool & the all rooms had plush towels, beach towels & amazing bedding. Not terribly far from the airport. We enjoyed our stay and our party of 6 could spread out. We used the washer & dryer daily. Golf course was gorgeous & a few in our party golfed & said it was great. Highly recommend this unit.

Exceptional stay!

We were so pleased with this condo. It is exactly as the pictures show. It is well maintained and very clean. You can tell there is attention to every detail from the furnishings, kitchen items, stocking of basic supplies, and beach gear including chairs, coolers, tons of snorkel gear, sand toys, etc. The condo even has children's toys and books which was a pleasant surprise as our grandkids visited. The lanai is perfect for morning sunshine and evening shade. The beds are comfortable with the exception of the twin beds as they are smaller and more suited for children. The management is very prompt with responses and were great to work with. I highly recommend this condo for families. You won't be disappointed.

Mostly great

Overall, we had a great stay at this condo, and there are some issues that need attention. The location of the condo within Mauna Lani is excellent, right around the corner from the historic walking path to the beach. Within the lovely, intimate condo complex, this unit is in a nice, quiet location. The condo itself is beautifully decorated and well laid out, with a nice golf course view. Now the issues: the primary bedroom mattress needs replacing. The air conditioner is very loud in the middle bedroom, and my son ended up sleeping on the couch because of this. The cleaning of the linens between guests needs improvement. The bedsheets were clean, but the outer bed linens and kitchen towels were pretty grungy. The freezer door is difficult to close all the way, so just be aware to double check that, and the kitchen could use a tool update, but it is acceptable. Finally, the owners require that the guest was and dry the towels, as well as start the bedsheet laundry before check out, and that is a tall order for a 7am flight. All this said, we would love to stay in this condo again if all or most of these issues are addressed, and despite these issues, still enjoyed our stay very much!

Lovely and convenient condo

My family enjoyed our stay in this clean and spacious condo. The resort area has very nice amenities. The kitchen was well stocked; always nice to have basic spices and oil on hand instead of having to buy for limited use. The owners sent over new scuba sets to replace ones lost by the last tenants which was very nice! (one unfortunately was broken right out of the package, but not their fault). My only complaint is that the front bedroom has poor air circulation from the A/C and does not cool down like the rest of the house. Not sure if that is a design flaw in the unit or something that can be fixed. I'd still return.

Wonderful Family Getaway

My family of 5, which included 3 adults and two teens, had a wonderful time at this Mauna Lani condo. The location is absolutely perfect. It is close to a coffee shop, well-stocked grocery store, and Tommy Bahamas Restaurant & store in addition to other retailers. It’s actually walking distance, but we opted to drive there as it was a quick 5 min drive- super convenient. Other highlights include access to the Beach Club. I cannot over emphasize what a true asset it was to have a pass. Parking, access to a clean and beautiful beach, good snorkeling, restaurant/bar - I wouldn’t do it any other way. Another highlight is that condo is steps away from a historic trail that walks past lava tubes, gorgeous ancient fish ponds, all leading to the glistening Pacific Ocean and Beach Club. This was my daily morning walk and alone time. a peaceful alternative to using the gym. The condo itself worked very well for our family. My father in law took the front room w queen bed, our 16 and 13 year old teens took the middle room, and my husband and I had the master suite. The condo is well stocked and tastefully decorated. The landscape is gorgeous and makes for nice family photos. The AC worked well, except in the front bedroom where it was weaker, but the fan in the room helped. We were traveling with an 83 year old and this downstairs condo worked well in that regard. The only drawback is that the condo renters upstairs were very loud and had a party, so we could hear them dragging patio furniture in the lanai above well into the night and in the early morning hours again. Fortunately we were gone most of the day, so this only was an issue for a short period at night and the following morning. Otherwise, it is a very quiet complex with respectful considerate renters. I don’t hold it against the location since these are issues that go with traveling and one can’t control every factor. It was a great condo for us and I highly recommend it. Also, the property managers were very responsive and professional. Another huge plus is that the condo is a very short walking distance to the pool/spa/ gym. Having a garage was also a plus. It was stocked w beach accessories, which we didn’t use but I can see how it is a plus for families that don’t have their own snorkeling equipment. We brought our own snorkels and everything else we needed we could get at the Beach Club. The drinks and food were good, so I would recommend trying it out. We look forward to our next visit!

Great family base in Mauna Lani

Our family (2 adults and 3 kids - 7, 7, and 11) stayed in this condo for a week. It was wonderful—comfortable, clean, and well decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed and the outside cooking area was great. There’s a ton of pool/beach gear. The kids loved the boogie boards and we used the noodles for snorkeling. The kids thought the Internet was great, but they were thankfully too busy to use it! In terms of location, it’s a 12-15 minute walk to the beach, which had great snorkeling right off the shore, and the pool is 2 minutes right out the door. The drive to the owner’s beach was maybe 5 minutes and parking was super convenient with the pass. It got somewhat crowded midday but nothing like some of the other places we visited. Highly recommend.

Big Island Stay

Great location! Wonderful communications with property manager and housekeeper. Kitchen was perfectly laid out and supplied for cooking with the family so we didn't have to go out for every meal over our 2 week stay. Would love to stay here again!
