Este único conjunto tradicional chalet suizo 100m del lago de Brienz trae una sensación de tranquilidad y privacidad para su asentamiento a su merecido descanso. El chalet es independiente con un jardín privado, barbacoa fuera de asientos para 4 personas. Ideal como una escapada en familia o grupos pequeños.

chalet tradicional con balcón de 70 metros cuadrados con vistas a la espectacular lago de Brienz. La planta superior del chalet dispone de una habitación doble, cocina americana, salón y en el interior de comedor para 4 con salida a la terraza. El balcón tiene salón y asientos de comedor para 4, ideal para disfrutar del desayuno al amanecer o una copa de vino mientras disfruta de la increíble puesta de sol brillará alpino.

Tenga en cuenta este dormitorio en suite en la planta baja del chalet se accede desde la escalera exterior.

El chalet ha sido decorado al más alto nivel con una cocina totalmente equipada, plancha, tabla de planchar, lavadora, secador de pelo, TV, reproductor de DVD, juegos de mesa, libros, juguetes y libros para niños. El chalet dispone de aparcamiento privado y un gran jardín cerrado.

El chalet es accesible desde la estación de tren de Interlaken Ost, ya sea un paseo agradable 15 minutos en bicicleta, 5 minutos en autobús, a 40 minutos a pie a lo largo del río, en taxi o en coche.

The place is poorly maintained and had some outdated quirks that made things uncomfortable. The heating was the biggest issue, especially in the winter cold. Downstairs, the heater just couldn't keep up; we'd set it to 25C and run it for hours, but the room stayed around 10C. We layered up heavy, but it was too chilly to really hang out or sleep there comfortably. Upstairs hit a better 20C, but the thin floors meant every footstep creaked loudly through the house.Hot water was tricky for our group of three too. Taking turns with 10-minute showers worked until the last person got stuck with barely warm water. A note on the wall said the tank needs 2.5 hours to reheat fully—feels a bit old-school these days. We cut showers to five minutes and got by. We also noticed a guest book mention about water from the upstairs bathroom sometimes dripping to the floor below. We kept everything dry and avoided it, but it made us extra careful.The upstairs sofa bed was too short and small. my 6-foot dad had to sleep diagonally to keep his feet from hanging off by a foot.In the kitchen, one bottle of cooking oil was expired by two years, which we had to toss mid-meal. The "non-stick" pan was scratched up pretty bad, raising some worries about it flaking into the food. Overall, it was a unpleasant stay and wasn't the warm welcome we expected.

LOVED this place! It was clean, cozy and had everything we needed. Really enjoyed the large outdoor space to soak in the views and enjoy the fresh air. Hope to come back again one day.

Its a cozy place, tucked away from the touristy Interlaken but just a 10 min bus ride from Ost, so best of both worlds. The view of the lake is spectacular and we spent every morning and evening on the deck. The only issue we faced was with the bathroom on the 1st floor, which is a bit snug. Juliet is responsive and very helpful and I'd stay there again if we ever decide to be back

This was the perfect base for hiking in the Bernese Obelrand. The house was excellent and I appreciated the attention to detail. It was cozy, and had everything we needed. Plus a nice yard and a great view from the terrace.

So cozy, and such a gorgeous view

Our second time in this chalet and it’s as charming as ever. So peaceful yet close to town. Sufficient ammenities. Great communication and very responsive host. We would definitely stay here again.

Interlaken Lake views & proximity

Very nice cozy home with a beautiful deck overlooking the lake. The second bedroom is down stairs and has a separate entrance from the main living space. It was perfect for our 18 & 20 year old daughters. Easy to walk to restaurants, bus lines, grocery stores, etc. Interlaken is beautiful and safe. We hiked a lot and enjoyed the beautiful weather and the outdoors. Showers are really tight to get into and slippery.

Quiet, Relaxing and Convenient

The neighborhood was so peaceful, barely any cars going by and waking up to the birds singing was wonderful. Basic but clean, loved the washer/dryer but there is no microwave or freezer. The patio was huge with a gorgeous view, unfortunately the rain kept us inside most of our 5 night stay. We could hear cow and goat bells nearby but couldn't find a way to go see without cutting through private properties. Very Relaxing stay.

Such a beautiful location. A little gem snuggled on the banks of the lake. Deck was the highlight. Sipping wine and enjoying watching the storms come over the mountains was a great way to end our days. Thanks for sharing!!!

Stayed for three nights. Great views and accommodations. Very easy to get to and back into town using the bus. Great communication and directions on how to get there.

Lake View Chalet

The accommodation in this nice Chalet was excellent and corresponded to the detailed online advertisement. The view from the big terrasse is much better than shown in the fotos. Thanks a lot to our host Juliet Fowles who gave us a warm welcome and supported us during our stay with lots of proposals and recommendations.

Ein kleines aber feines Häuschen nur 200 Meter entfernt vom Brienzer See. Es ist alles vorhanden was benötigt wird, absolut sauber und die Terrasse ist ein wahres Highlight.

nice view, small, broken up

The property manager gave great directions and correspondence before arrival. The beds were in two separate areas, but the main level bed and bedding were uncomfortable. The separate downstairs and 2nd bedroom doesn't heat up and stay very cold if you have to utilize it which we did with 4 adults. The balcony is very nice and has a great view, parking is easy. I still do not understand why we had to leave cash for the tax and it wasn't billed through the VRBO system. Very inconvenient to have to go get local currency to leave in the envelope when the entire vacation is a non-cash credit card option. Having to pay local fees, and the closest ATM is over 10 minutes away. I would do my own research on restaurants before following the local guide left in Chalot. The area if very nice and communication was great and easy beforehand but may try something different next time due to the quality of sleep.

Interlaken vacation

We loved the location and the view from the balcony was spectacular! We thoroughly enjoyed having dinner outside after a long day's hike. The bus rides into Interlaken Ost were effortless and the whole experience was a pleasure.

Best views!

We really enjoyed our time here. I would suggest have a few extra blankets in the living room for guests. Easy walk from the bus stop with the exception of a pretty steep hill to get your suitcases up.

Great Chalet!

Absolutely incredible view with a great balcony. My friends and I had an unforgettable stay. I wish the windows had screens for bugs, and it wasn't easy to fit six of us, but other than that it was near-perfect.

It’s okay

The place needs some work. A lot of things are old and need some updating. The sofa bed is very tiny I wouldn’t consider It a sofa bed maybe a small child fits, It was also very dusty and didn’t have sheets for It. The location is not great, you definitely need a car if staying there. The view though is very pretty of the lake. The balcony is quite big probably bigger than the inside of the house. The bathroom upstairs is tinyy. And gosh the water heater… you will have hot water for not a very long time. We tried to mess around with It so It would heat up for longer but no luck. You will have to take very quick showers. There are spiders in the rooms, a lot of them. The washer works well, the dryer does not. Like I said It needs some newer items in there, definitely feels a bit abandon. For some good things the Wifi works really well! And the heater heats up nicely.
