Cuatro acres boscosos de cabañas recónditas para familias en la prístina cadena de lagos Wabana. Dos dormitorios / dos baños con capacidad para seis en la cabina principal. El barracón estacional duerme seis más. Elevación moderada hasta 300 pies a orillas del lago en el lago Little Trout, pacífico, tranquilo y claro. Pesca y natación en la orilla del lago / muelle. Los navegantes y los remeros tienen acceso a la cadena de lagos Wabana de 4400 acres. (Se proporcionan kayak, canoa y paddleboard en tándem). Los amantes de la naturaleza tienen acceso a kilómetros de senderos para caminar / andar en bicicleta / correr. Trailhead a Trout Lake SNA / histórico Joyce Estate está a 1 milla de la cabina.

Construido en 1972, la cabina se encuentra en un pequeño claro en la cima de una cresta con vista al lago Little Trout. Cuenta con dos habitaciones (ambas con camas queen) y un sofá cama y futón en la sala de estar. Se proporcionan ropa de cama, toallas de cocina y baño. (Traiga sus propias toallas de playa). La cabina cuenta con dos baños, un baño completo en el nivel principal y tres cuartos ubicados en el sótano inacabado. (Tenga en cuenta que las escaleras al sótano son un poco empinadas). La cocina está totalmente equipada con estufa a gas, refrigerador, tostadora, microondas, cafetera, utensilios de cocina, platos y utensilios. Afuera hay una gran mesa de picnic con sombrilla, hoguera, columpio de madera, parrilla de carbón y terraza. Hay Wifi en la cabina, se recogen las señales del teléfono celular y hay un pequeño televisor para ver películas.

La propiedad arbolada y boscosa se encuentra en Little Trout Lake, el más pequeño de la cadena de lagos Wabana. La cadena es conocida por sus aguas cristalinas alimentadas por manantiales, excelente pesca y deportes acuáticos. Más de la mitad de la cadena se encuentra en el Bosque Nacional Chippewa y permanece sin desarrollar. La cabina se encuentra entre Wabana y Trout Lakes, que ofrece aislamiento con la facilidad de navegar en bote a través de canales a los lagos más grandes, incluido Bluewater.

Summer getaway

Brought our adult kids to this relaxing spot. Cabin and bunkhouse themselves were great. A bit of a hike to the dock/water only drawback. Struck out with our fishing but loved the relaxing time.

This was one of best properties we’ve stayed at to date. The yard was beautiful and we spent a lot of time their with family and admiring the view. The chain of lakes is phenomenal with crystal clear water great for boating. The cabin was extremely clean, comfortable and had everything you needed. Lastly, the Demos’s are great owners, always accommodating and ready to answer your questions! Would love to stay here again.

Guys Trip 2021

Second year in a row coming to Shilo for guys trip, and it was just as amazing as the first. The Demo’s are amazing hosts. We are anxiously awaiting our trip up in 2022.

Absolutely beautiful and private. Great dock fishing, swimming, beautiful scenery, plenty of room. Just could not ask for more. The Demos family was always helpful with any and all questions. Believe me...you WANT to stay here!

Peaceful Getaway

What a beautiful spot to spend the week! We loved sitting by the dock and on the swing watching wildlife. There were hardly any other boats passing by so we almost felt we had the lake to ourselves. Boating through the channels was fun and an adventure. Fishing was tough but it was hot- next time might go earlier in the season or hire a guide to find the best spots. The cabin was cute and clean and had what we needed, and the bunkhouse was great for the kids to sleep (and had air conditioning!). Our family also enjoyed the ping pong table and all the games. Thank you for sharing this spot with us. What a gem!

Wonderful Spot for Family Time

This property was amazing. The beautiful trees, sparkling lake, and just the entire area make this a special place. The cabin and bunkhouse were spotless when we arrived. Owners were super responsive to any email we sent them with a question prior to arrival. Our only challenge is that my father is 81 years old and had a bit of a tough time navigating the steep path to and from the dock area. This property it is truly a gem. If there was an option for a 5 + rating our family would go with that!

Excellent Guys Trip

Just returned from guys trip (6.20-6.27). The cabin is absolutely amazing. Not only is the cabin amazing, but the owners went above and way beyond in making sure our stay was perfect. From the personalized welcome on the fridge, to the chocolate covered nuts they left for us, to supplying the cabin with everything imaginable, our stay was nothing short of AMAZING!! Our group (3 of us) cannot wait until our next stay up at Shilo.

Secluded Up North Hideaway!

My husband and I stayed during the COVID-19 pandemic and this was a perfect spot to hideaway safely and enjoy all that the Minnesota North has to offer. We spent everyday on the water, exploring and fishing, and evenings by the campfire overlooking Little Trout Lake. We truly love this secluded "North Woods" cabin and hope to return again some day soon!

The perfect lake getaway

This was an ideal place to relax and reconnect with family. The spot is tranquil and beautiful, and all the amenities are there to enjoy either an active or a relaxed stay at the lake. The house is cozy and cute, and the bunk house was a nice option when staying with more family members. Would be great for a gang of kids, but there's also a private double bed room that we used for one of our adult couples. The property is incredibly private, and the lake has practically no traffic. What a perfect north woods experience.

This place is perfect

Nothing is missing from the pre-made fire in the fire pit, to the cookies in the freezer ready to be baked, to the 4 beautiful lakes you have direct access to this place is perfect! We definitely want to return. The clarity and color of the water is unbelievable. We loved our week.

Little Trout Lake Family Stay

Shiloh is a very nice property. The owners were helpful and the location can't be beat if you are looking for some quiet and privacy. It was sized just right for our extended family. We enjoyed paddling, fishing , swimming and hiking. All-in -all .... a great week in the Minnesota lake country.

Special place

The cabin was great If you’re looking for a place that’s in the middle of “nature at its finest” this is the place to go. Bald eagles flying by, deer wandering through the property and the lake seems to be untouched by humans it’s so clean The property owners are great and put little touches to make your stay even more special

Simply Perfect

It was refreshing to walk into a cabin where the owners exceeded EVERY expectation. From the personal welcome notes or frozen cookie dough the attention to detail was evident in every room and across the property. Having owned a cabin in Northern MN for 25 years I understand first-hand the amount of work it takes to maintain property on the Range. This is by far the nicest VRBO home that we have stayed in anywhere-bar none... Mark & Julie: from the entire Cincinnati crew I want to "Thank You" for a wonderful experience....

Great Cabin on a Clear Lake!

My family stayed a week and had a wonderful time. Mark and Julie were great to work with. They responded to questions right away before our stay and during our stay. They are so sweet and such genuine people. The cabin was super clean and organized with plenty of spaces to "nest" for the week. All The beds were very comfortable with big closets. It was so nice to have a washer and dryer to use too! The bunk house is close to the house (the picture looked a little further) and there are 2 sets of bunk beds with their own reading lights and one separate room with a king bed. Trout lake is so gorgeous with great fishing right off the dock! The water is so clear you can see down to the bottom! The sand bar was not far at all and it's a great spot to hang out and play shallow water games. Being on the chain of lakes was just perfect and the scenery is absolutely gorgeous. It was great to have a 2 person kayak and canoe to use too! Trout Lake is quiet and calm and perfect for it. The picnic table with big umbrella was awesome for family meals, the yard was big and flat for lots of game playing. The sunsets around the bonfire and down at the dock were breathtaking. The only (and this is only slightly) negative thing I can think of is that the walk down to the dock is a bit of a decline- which means an incline going back to the cabin. Also, you can't really see the dock from the cabin/yard but the view of the lake is good. We had 2 small dogs with us and they loved the space of the outdoors. Also, Grand Rapids is about 20 min away and the bike trails are beautiful! We would definitely recommend this great little tranquil place. Thanks Mark and Julie for an amazing week!
