Very nice house fully furnished.

We enjoyed our week. Located in a quiet neighborhood that was very peaceful. I would recommend if you are looking for a nice getaway.

Excellent property

We loved everything about this property. It was extremely clean and had everything we needed. It was in a beautiful location. We contacted the owner a few times and she was very quick to respond. I highly suggest this place.

Nice mountain getaway

Location was perfect for our planned activities in Haywood Co, Jackson Co & Cherokee. We were out and about most of the day everyday. About a 12 minute drive to Water Rock knob to view the sunset. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking evening meals. Host left a much appreciated snack basket & also provided a basket with brochures for area attractions & sightseeing. We enjoyed our stay!

With Mother Nature

Our visit was incredible. We were visited by squirrels, a number of different birds and a Mama bear and her three cubs. Our stay was peaceful and relaxing giving us time to get back with Mother Nature. The home was welcoming, well kept and very clean, thank you Mary.

Great place to stay in the mountains

It was a great place to stay in the mountains! The host was easy to contact and check-in and check-out was easy. The house was clean. Be on the look out for black bear when staying there and other wild life in the area. My kids, husband and I really enjoyed our stay!

Had a great stay at Mary and Glen’s house was awesome Had everything we needed very clean!

Loved the location in the mountains but not far from town. We were going to camp but lots rain forcast so a change in plans was a great choice not far from many hiking trails and waterfalls! Beautiful location felt like we were camping with the mountains all around us but clean bathrooms and hot showers! The wildlife was amazing to watch very relaxing place.

Great place for peace and tranquility

We were referred to Maggie Valley by a customer and found this gem of a cabin by luck. The cabin had everything we needed. The location was remote but easily accessible. I have nothing but good to say and highly recommend this property.

Reconnection Getaway

Perfect location. Very quiet. Road to cabin is gravel but no issues in our car. Everything was great. Sitting on the balcony in the mornings were perfect. Will use again!

Nice Autumn Stay

We stayed at the cabin for 4 nights. Everything was very clean and well stocked! The road to the cabin was easy to navigate for us. We liked the location which was easy to go to downtown Maggie Valley or out on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We got very good instructions on how to find the cabin from the main road. The internet worked well and the satellite TV was good. It was cozy and nice! Thank you!

Relaxing!!

Property was better than the description, the place was very clean, comfortable and you have everything you need right there. Mary the host was an excellent communicator with directions and information about the home. You have privacy but not too secluded. We had rain on Saturday so we had all day to enjoy the wood fireplace and woke up Sunday morning to snow. Wintertime offered us two beautiful sunsets off the back balcony as well. We will definitely stay here again!

Great house in the countryside

This was the perfect place for two couples. We didn’t want to be in a busy area and this was quiet, and semi-secluded. Yet it was not too far from the attractions in Maggie Valley and Asheville. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything needed to cook. Would definitely stay again. Only complaint was the smoke alarm battery was dead and it kept beeping. We called the person listed in the book but she no longer takes care of that property so we called the host and she never returned my call. Our tallest guest finally stood on the table and removed the alarm. If he hadn’t been able to take care of that our stay would have been horrible.

Very Clean Nicely Equipped House

The website did not specify that bedrooms were on the main floor but you had to walk up a steep staircase (for a crippled, polio man) to get to the living area. Also, the website does not clearly show that each bathroom is separate from the bedrooms nor did it show that each bathroom had a tub/shower which is difficult for a crippled person to get in and out of. The website should also state that there is about a mile of rough, washboard gravel road that you have to navigate once you turn off the main road. The house was very clean, nicely decorated and adequately equipped. The host was very hospitable and quick to respond to any inquiries. But with my mobility problems, we will not choose to stay there again.

Blue Ridge Parkway Getaway

The best thing about this property was the location; 5 minutes off a Parkway entrance for some amazing hikes; close to Junaluska Golf Course, an inexpensive and great course; close to many Smoky Mountain scenic views and drives; close enough to Asheville for the airport and restaurants; and lovely Waynesville. The property was exactly as described and very comfortable with a fully-stocked kitchen. Thanks for a lovely stay in a most beautiful part of the U.S. Hope to be back!

Peaceful and quaint, hidden among the Blue Ridge Mountains. It is a way to get away from it all but still close to good restaurants, shops, hiking trails, lakes, golf course and entertainment. It has all the amenities you don’t have to bring much. 4500 elevation so nice and cool the air feels wonderful! FALL IS AMAZING HERE :) LAST YEAR WINTER TOOK OUR BREATH AWAY SO BEAUTIFUL

Being here, your away from it all. Cabin has all the amenities including a Bbq, washer, dryer. You just have to bring your own food and relax amongst the beautiful mountains. Close to lakes, ski lifts, casinos, local shops and good restaurants. FALL is gorgeous here they have fall events and an Apple Orchard along the Blue Ridge Parkway.
